AGREED! > WAR AIR COMBAT SIM = LIFE! LIFE + IMMERSION + REALISM + DYNAMIC CAMPAIGN + GLOBAL MAPS = AIR COMBAT SIMULATION The way I see it is "Network Interoperability or Asset Integration" with Air Combat Simulation = ALIVENESS Now "Situational Awareness" is really critical to how you play the game/sim and Win the WAR! Where via menus I can instruct or guide or support ground infantry / forces etc........... and win the WAR - think again the soon "DCS DYNAMIC CAMPAIGN ENGINE"! Now Single Player with improved A.i becomes not just a combat sim but Tactical and Strategic WAR AIR COMBAT SIMULATION. Honestly to encourage it further its like the ultimate CHESS game well at least for me, I do get the sentiments of concerns, but ED will not allow it to become a Battlefield or COD game, don't fuss on that but I see a dream here going back from this thread - https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/53393-dynamic-campaign-discussion-thread/ As to how it all would get sorted that's for ED from a developer point of view its a nightmare but from a simmer views - MIND BLOWING! I don't know if I do justice to the vision but thought best to keep it concise in the hopes others can see and be encouraged to support it! There is a comment in that thread that development on a ED Dynamic Campaign Engine is in development from a few years back and its going to be better than what we have seen in past, so any contribution to CA and Aliveness/Immersion/Realism personally should be welcomed or supported but in the view that it will add to Air "WAR" Combat Simulation. Then you could add Life to like more civil aviation type experience as well.

Think............... CHESS.................... not draughts................ if that makes sense! Especially once the release of a DCS Dynamic Campaign Engine comes out....... it will be WOW time!

Sounds cool - ED would benefit if 3rd party devs and as a combined effort or some kind of big picture plan incorporating 3rd party devs to expand on "Combined Arms" to be all it could be adding immersion and realism and tactical/strategic simulation of Air- Land- Sea as the overall sim grows as an all encompassing air combat flight sim with a complete world map in its future............... how many times has it been stated ED-DCS is a sand box. War is in a sim/game if you like divided across Air Land and Sea. Think in terms of organizing air defense from ground forces in heavy threat areas and type of strategic approach Umm DCS - Dynamic Campaign incorporated with infantry co-operation tactics in saved missions and ongoing war scenarios.....Ooh it becomes the dream for me in single player preference like a game of CHESS ........ Did I say CHESS not draughts! LoL oh bring it ED-DCS and Battlefield Productions!

Hi Battlefield Productions, my 2cs so from what I understand it would be assisting the combined arms module there is decades of wishlist's and wants in this Thread - https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/85-dcs-combined-arms/ Please go through it if possible and add to your development ideas in hopes you get a contract with ED as 3rd Party Dev Team. My desire as a single player is to be able to "Control Combined Forces against Bluefor vs Redfor Battlefield situational awareness in areas where either support or eliminating threats to achieve tasking orders as a milsim where I the player have immersion and depth of simulation to play out multiple realistic situations like joint military operations like RIMPAC or NATO exercises would be an amazing experience. I haven’t got DCS loaded up for now but that level of detail is great for later on I believe in another post in Forum I think Combined Arms thread the talk about controlled ground forces ..... albeit it would be great for ARMA type realism and sim emersions. Thx for video!

Hi thanks for VM confirmation, I have been speaking with an I.T computer science friend he suggest the same thing but I have never installed Microsoft Virtual Machine other than in past using emulators......... can anyone suggest an easy approach to how to install it without it mucking up my current OS install? - Thanks

Some old 32bit Apps/Software and old sims but no luck. Well same as usual was hoping that there would be a break through with that old problem. A while back I tried to run some apps via "32-bit emulation" Shell extension programs hoping to keep drivers and app intact ....... https://stackoverflow.com/questions/13747836/using-32-bit-shell-extensions-in-windows-7-64-bit No luck........... frustrating that it can not be done. So that we can be able to run old sims/programs in a new OS in some kind of allowed frame work.:doh: But I think Skate is correct just Not going to work :cry:

Just thought to share some advice and info. If you have issues with updates corruption these are ways to fix them. If you are experienced enough with windows you can enter through REGEDIT shown here - There are more videos online how to carefully go about this. Also I use this app to track MALWARE - https://www.malwarebytes.com/ :thumbup: I also you this app to clean obsolete registry entries that are not needed, missing or corrupt - https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download :thumbup: If you purchase the Pro versions you get the strong added features to ensure your system is safe and healthy. Also take time to read through Microsoft change logs and support issues here:- https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/902093/how-to-read-the-windowsupdate.log-file Might resolve any issues with a simple download patch.
