  1. Zip file with just about all aircraft liveries directory names. Mostly untested and with no actual liveries or textures in each folder. Place them in your DCS Saved Games folder and place your skins and cockpit textures into the correct folders as needed. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_WbgfvUae-ecimZ7RLnVXBVH0M59N_Ap/view?usp=sharing How to find the directory names for future modules: Regards, Ian.
  2. Glad I can help. I had a play with JTAC again with my testing file, and it is still a very hit and miss proposion, just doesn't make sense when it doesn't work. Best vehicles are the Hummer Tow, M1134 Stryker ATGM version, Not sure how well their ranges for optical IR / Laser are modeled, but IRL they are about 4000 for TOW and 2000-2400m for the Stryker if I remember correctly. DCS still gives you the Line of Sight is OK (<=5km) but the opticals may not even go that far, Ground vehicle placement seem best positioned less than 2000m and at an elevation the same or greater than the targets. I have no guaranteed procedure for JTAC, its complicated and unreliable, so experimenting is the only way. I may attach my test file later on, If I get it 100% reliable. Regards, Ian. 3. Might be new bug, as the Predator Drone should work with out issues. But when I was having similar issues some time ago, I changed the ground JTAC vehicle from the standard "hummer armed or tow vehicle" to a Stryker that has advanced laser and IR equipment to make it work (Ground JTAC vehicle always has to be an armed unit and for night ops, must have optical, so Stryker is best bet). I also had one ED mission that suffered from the same issues you are describing, ground JTAC had clear line of sight, was in laser / IR range <5km, but I had to reduce the distance to targets and it was very particular about the position on the map for it to lase even though it was on a hill overlooking targets originally I had to move the JTAC down onto the flat plain for to work. Regards, Ian.
  4. I would forget about the multiple outcome senarios until your more familiar with the basics of campaign design, as it is a more complicated procedure and I don't think you missions are suitably designed to take advantage of the feature. If you don't manually put any "Mission Goals" into mission it will never move onto the next stage or mission. Each unit you kill in mission is your score usually 5 - 10 points each, but have no effect on you progression in the Campaign or stages. I have edited your original first posted missions, to demonstrate how you would go about a linear campaign: Each Stage has only one mission in it (Stage 1,2,3,4). The mission goals have been set so that if you complete at least the primary objectives of a mission (Result=90) and if you Land as well (Result=100) you will move to the next Stage and its mission. Regards, Ian. AckInBeirut Campaign.zip
  5. If it only happening with mission 1,2,6 then it is probably due to those missions having track replays imbedded in the .miz file forcing certain view modes, you will have to remove the "CONFIG" directory from each of the "0x_A10Sturm.miz files (Miz files are just zipfiles) to correct the behaviour and follow you DCS local settings. Regards, Ian.
  6. Stages works as such: When you play a mission and complete it with a score of 0-49 you will go back a stage, with a score of 50 you will have to redo the mission you just played, with a score of 51-100 you will advance to the next stage. A stage containing multiple missions with the "same weighting value" will allocate a mission at random. A stage containing multiple missions with "different weighting values" will allocate a mission based on the score from the previous stage. Example of mission setup: First stage: Set with only one mission and has a trigger so that it has a score of 50 at start, Set your goals "bridge i get 25 points and get a specific tank i get another 25 for a total of 50 points"., so when you complete this mission you will have over 51 points (100 is max) and move onto the next stage, if you don't score anything, the starting 50 points will make you replay the mission. Second stage: Set as many missions as you like with different weightings such as mission 1=51-75, mission 2=80-100, so that if you scored 75 in Stage 1 you would move to Stage 2 and mission 1 would run, if you scored 100 in Stage 1 you would move to Stage 2 and mission 2 would run. I may be a little incorrect with the weighting workings, been a while since I looked at that stuff, but your main issue would be assuming that getting a score of 30 is less than 50 and you go to the next mission, but because it is below 50 it tries to send you back to a previous mission that doesn't exist Regards Ian.
  7. Seems that ED may have updated there A-10c single mission set (Most likely multilanguage) and have reverted to old broken missions in 2.5.6 Openbeta, where as in the Testers nightly version they are still my fixed versions they introduced some time back. If you want working copies feel free to download replacements from the DCS User files Section. Regards, Ian.
  8. I grabbed the old smerch hunt mission from the A-10c single files section, changed the aircraft to A-10c_2 and tested radios on DCS 2.5.6 OB. So long as you have followed the startup tutorials method to the point of: Battery on Have the APU spun up and running and the APU Gen switch on as well, the radios will work. Change the Top radio to 141.000mhz for Beslan ATC and have TR mode turned on. (Use mic forward for VHF AM to send radio command to ATC). The Middle UHF AM radio is already correct at 251.000mhz but must have the selector to MAN. (Use mic down for CB AM to send radio command to wingman) The Bottom VHF FM radio is already set to 30.00mhz but must have TR mode turned on. (Use MIC aft for VHF FM to send radio command to JTAC). Both A-10c and A-10c_2 work the same for me in that mission, just did a quick test to get the startup permission from the ATC, Talked to JTAC to get a target and send a RTB command to Wingman. So I am not sure what your doing wrong, usually suspect is that radio's are on the wrong frequency or that you might not be using the 3 different radio commands for transmission to different radios under real radio mode. (LShift + Num-, LAlt + Num-, LShift + Num+, LAlt + Num+). Regards, Ian.
  9. I have been doing some corrective actions to the A-10c Georgian Hammer campaign lately, mainly moving Units and FARPS out of the trees, realigning all aircraft to parking spots and landing runways, it was a real mess, need to clear trees for tank platoons that advance through forests and god knows what else, progress is going slowly at the moment. Might post work in progress on User Download site soon, re-testing if it works in the most time consuming and unlikely to happen any time soon. Me doing any A-10c II conversion will not happen until I have done all of this original campaign first. Regards, Ian.
  10. In the new 1.3 version of MOD, No it has been rewritten and things like filenames and position of texture files have been altered, see previous amended post of file and directory locations. P.S. It works fine in DCS 2.5.6 OB if using the Flaming Cliffs 3 MiG-29, but can't get it to work with the MiG-29 Standalone module that you say you are using. Regards, Ian.
  11. Seeing how your spelling your Directories names may be the problem, I had issues with the A-10c War horse mod and it was because the spelling and case of the directory names had to be exactly right. The MIG with a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters and with the _ between "Cockpit_MiG-29A": ie for the mig it is: C:\Users\Yourname\My Documents\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Cockpit_MiG-29A\English\ C:\Users\Yourname\My Documents\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Cockpit_MiG-29G\English\ C:\Users\Yourname\My Documents\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Cockpit_MiG-29S\English\ Files in the English folders should be similiar to this with only one lua file = Description.lua. - I have ammended the incorrect data provided earlier from his older version of this mod, ED has changed a lot of the texture names and devrim has adjusted the descriptions to point to the new textures that are now stored only in the MiG-29S folder and not in all three variants folders as before. 12. Re: Yes it is possible, I still have DCS v1.216, v1.58 installed along side v2.56x OB. DCS v1.5.6 will still need to use Serial numbers and the old Starforce system (May have some automation via model manager, I can't remember myself). Definitely still able to fly the Huey and the Mi-8. Before running DCS v1.56 make a file called "dcs_variant.txt" in the DCS game root folder with something like "v1_56" enclosed to define where configs are stored (DCS will make the config folder as "DCS.v1_56" and not interfere with other DCS config folders). Regards, Ian.
  13. I have had similiar issues in the KA-50 campaigns and single player missions with varying vehicles not starting to move when triggered, I can't remember which type of vehicles they were. The solution in my case was very random and difficult to pin point, it was a mixture of fiddling with the final waypoint of the vehicles path and or changing some of the advanced waypoint commands (Dispersion under fire=600) to (Dispersion under Fire=0) or (Dispersion under Fire=OFF) (They weren't under fire either). I belief the pathing waypoints are not plotted correctly (Play mission and select show paths icon to see all the waypoints and path along road), because in the mission "Ka-50 - Escort" the convoy had no waypoints or path showing at all, hence they did not move at all. Even when you fix the issue and it works, the path and waypoints are always missing the last waypoint, this was true of both ground units and aircraft. Regards, Ian.
  14. Most likely, your running missions with the "SUPER CARRIERS" and you haven't purchased or installed correctly the "SUPER CARRIER DLC". If DLC isn't installed correctly, you can't take off (Will start in air) or catch wires on a landing (Impossible to trap), also can't see flight crew on deck. Regards, Ian.
  15. The new model is listed in the ship units as "CVN 1143.5 Admiral Kuznetsov (2017)", so any older missions made before the "SUPER CARRIERS DLC" will need to have the old "CVN 1143.5 Admiral Kuznetsov" model swapped out with the newer "CVN 1143.5 Admiral Kuznetsov (2017)" model. Regards, Ian.
  16. I appreciate your points and have had the same journey, from my point of view, I decided to help remedy these issues and others, I have spend thousand of hours over the last 4 to 5 years keeping campaigns and single missions running correctly from DCS v1.2, v1.5 and now v2.5 but they are getting broken at an exponential rate with patches, much like the covid infection rate curves. This work has been largely done for free for ED and the user base, what puzzles me the most is that: You can give ED fixed and working versions and they don't want to implement them in game some times for their own reasons. Some users and not the majority don't want to use them because it is done by a USER on the internet and are seen as a MOD and require a little effort to install and they should be in the game they paid for (Righly so I think also). So the take away from this is: Try and help get it fixed through the official forums (Not very successful sometimes). Fix the issues yourself if possible and your inclined to do that sort of thing. Use the free MODS of the campaigns and missions available that have had substancial testing done on them in the past to prove they were working (Authors can't for see future issues introduced with patches, games graphics engine and map modernisations updates). Spare a thought for all the creators and editors of campaigns and missions that have spend hundreds of hours creating content for others to enjoy, only to see it stuffed at what seems every DCS patch these days (Requiring them to micromanage the issues with corrections, work arounds, re-testing, etc). Getting to frustrated with game in general because of all issues, DON'T PLAY IT !!!, move on and find other more enjoyable endeavours such as other games that are more reliable and fun to play, do real life activities, there are thousands of other things you can do. Also your able to vote with your wallet, don't like how things are going, don't buy anymore content, use the money on other hobbies, activities you actually enjoy just as much. Regards, Ian.
  17. I compared the original DCS v1.26 version to the fixed version (DCS v1.5x) I did 3-4 years ago and the OSSA SAM has been moved closer to the (East - > West path of the players flight), most likely moved due to being in the trees or something, making it within its engagement range, its detection range is right down to BATUMI were you takeoff, so it is tracking you as soon as the mission starts. Regards, Ian.
  18. When you say you changed your DNS to auto (In the router or Windows), why wasn't it on auto in the first place as the results of how it was, showed that it can't even find your routers name let alone the DCS website. Now that the DNS is on Auto, it is seeing the router as it should and resolving the domain names correctly, however the cdn.digitalcombatsimulator.com address is different to my test and I think the other user responding here. (this faulty ip address may be still be in the windows DNS cache, run a command line and the "Ipconfig /flushdns" command). Coff at ED has also hinted that there may be an issue their end, I am guessing with the updater program or the servers themselves. He asked users to be patient whilst they investigate the issues and come up with a solution. My NSlookups: Regards, Ian.
  19. I would agree with paganus that your system is below spec for DCS, and the highlighted exerts from your log show that your not even logged into DCS so I don't know how your playing it at all (Couldn't Resolve Host name). You still have net issues with Host name resolution to IP address. Regards, Ian.
  20. Not necessarily an issue, as there is 4 variants of each mission picked at random when running campaign, ie 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4. (The will have slight differences by default), so it is never going to play the same way through multiple runs. Regards, Ian
  21. Yes that issue is also corrected in the KA-50 Single missions set. Regards, Ian.
  22. I do know what you mean, this might be helpful for you, the A-10c Single missions are in there. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/?PER_PAGE=20&set_filter=Filter&arrFilter_pf%5Bfiletype%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Bgameversion%5D=518&arrFilter_pf%5Bfilelang%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Baircraft%5D=&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&CREATED_BY=Maddog-IC&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC Regards, Ian.
  23. I understand your fustrations and DCS 2.5.6. has created a lot of issues, I would like to try and help, to do so you would have to post the following; ie: - DCS.log file (C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\LOGS\DCS.log) - DCS Autoupdatelog.txt from: ie (d:\Games\DCS World 2 OpenBeta\) - DXDIAG.txt report (Win + R keys -> type in DXDIAG -> Save all info to file and post) Issues may be related to other software or hardware such as: - Anti-virus interference with files / directories (Locking and Quarenteening files due to False positives) - Add your DCS folders to the Whitelist or Exception rules. - Spywares scanners including (Bit defender, Malwarebytes and others) interfering with files - Exclude DCS folders from being checked, disable or remove program. - Windows 10 updates may have created a new issue. - Faulty hardware, such as SSD, HDD, Memory. - Corrupted SSD / HDD directory structures. (Run Scandisk on all partitions) - Not running DCS as administrator. DCS Openbeta v2.5.6.x software - Objective to get a clean install: Disable virus and spyware scanners before running installer. Download the Openbeta installer and run it as administrator: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/beta/ Run DCS and check it works correctly and then check the module manager has your modules loaded, if not loaded them in. DCS will create a fresh "C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta" folder for your configs. or DCS Stable v2.5.5.x upgraded to 2.5.6.x Stable - Objective to get a working install: Remove all types of mods from game: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/709/#2463807 Rename your "C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS.stable" folder temporarily so DCS will create a new one for you - (A lot of issues are related to files kept in here, and no amount of re-installing the core DCS engine will fix it, if DCS runs correctly having done this, you will have to move over your input configs, etc). Run DCS and check it works correctly and then check the module manager has your modules loaded, if not loaded them in. Try running the Updater and see if it works correctly. You should hopefully have a working copy of DCS by now. Let me know how you are getting on with what you have done already. Regards, Ian.
  24. Progression is shown in the campaign builder, there is either a score range: ie (51-60), (61-70), (71-80), (81-100) attributed to each of the 4 variants of the missions in each Stage or if the score range is the same for the 4 missions as is in this campaign I believe was (51-100) then one is chosen at random. Regards, Ian.
