Which coordinates were given? Might be able to lead you to the right explanatory thread. There is a way to change the system in the script- it's one of the options- but best to just learn the one you have and then change if desired.

Actually not to be that guy but I'm totally going to be that guy- in the article you link to it says that there was in fact a glitch with the algorithm used in early service of the f22... But yes- they did fix it.

Even in the book itself the author / pilots speak specifically about how Serb efforts to drag destroyed vehicles away interfered with damage / loss assessments... Just because "they left no gouges" doesn't mean that there wasn't a significant effort to conceal the actual damage being done. There may have even been some significant success in this effort. The more effort spent concealing the wreckage is the less time spent burning down towns and killing innocent people. Look at it another way assuming the "concealed wreckage of damaged / destroyed vehicles" is completely undigestible to you... If few vehicles were destroyed, it was likely because they were not operating with impunity in the region and were instead slaved to scheduled opening and closing of the KEZ. They were hiding, camouflaged at all hours and -if doing anything- were operating at night. They requested the E-8s work at night, but powers that be felt those aircraft were more useful during the day. Again- this was an overall battlefield management failure and can simply not be attributed to any number of different types of aircraft. In addition to the point that Sith already made about the fact that the absence of "centralized control- decentralized execution" the A-10, the FACs and all other aircraft involved in the conflict were unable to achieve maximum success in their missions.

By objective observer I assume you mean one that agrees with your opinion 100%? WOW. Now THAT, sir, is some credentials! Don't bother debating with this guy... he'll have it all covered. So back to what we were saying about objective observers... there are none here so stop dismissing everyone's opinion like you're an authority on the subject.

There is a mic switch that can be activated in 5 directions... the configuration for forward, down and back is accurately modelled while it also has a depressable (z axis I think they call it) action as well as an upward that many use for their TS3 activation.

I think part of the benefits of the A-10 community is that CAS is 90% of what they train to do and has been their bread and butter for decades. While Eagles are a formidable CAS aircraft- from my interpretation of what I've been reading- they are best employed when delegated tasks by trained / experienced AFACs (ie: A-10)... It's not that E pilots / WSOs aren't able to do the task as much as that it isn't their focus and though some may excel at it I think you get my meaning. The A-10 pilot would be fluent in the language coming from the JTAC and would likely be better able to understand what was being requested from the chaos. A Hog can turn a tighter orbit with less G and with more station time has a better opportunity to enhance his (or her I guess) SA... Then again you have a valid point- I imagine at some point the scene gets so confusing that nobody can go in and sort it out...

Deactivate it where it submerges. Maybe set some waypoints at 6knts to time when you activate another ssk in port. Then just delete the wps. Almost as good.

I think the eye is designed for spotting targets while the hmcs is designed to turn that information into data the weapon systems can use in the same fashion we use the tgp now. It doesn't replace- it compliments. I'm not sure how a person could say one is better than the other. That's like saying an omelette is better than a sunny day. An omelette at the start of a sunny day, however would be dynamite!

Okay fine- not ranch dressing... I guess the Americans prefer blue cheese...

Any air force pilot transitioning into the F-35 (or not, at this point I don't think it matters) that says ANYTHING but good things would have his wings ripped off his chest so fast he'd poop ranch dressing.

Are all the radios turned on? sorry, I know this is basic but I'm not sure your level of skill. I've never used easy radio either- so I don't know if they're on by default. If AWACS is spamming you then I know the VHF AM is on... not sure about the FM... -
The F-16 has been completed and will be shipped to the member on Monday. I've made certain with him that he's good with posting the pics and he's good with it so here we go! She's been asking me what sized panel I'd like for the F-14... I guess it could be as big as 48"x48". Yes please! To compare though the imagine isn't to scale at all this one is 12"x16". To see all 4 please visit this page: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2013310&postcount=32

Spot a target / area of interest on the ground with binos while on altitude hold and hands free, slap down your hmcs... Mark it, set spi, slave tgp. Refine your orientation, reset spi for attack accuracy or search for somethig else with binos. And the problem is?

Okay well maybe laying on the bed reading a book.

Okay... I'll bite. Any insights on what additional shiny features the suite 7 has over suite 3 (including the HMSS / HMS / HMWhatevertheamericanscallit - late edit I knew it was something familiar... HMCS like our canadian ships)... I did some research and I found this: This contract action is sole source to Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensor (LM MS2), CAGE: 03640. The A-10 SPO has a requirement to provide for continuing development and integration of the A-10 Aircraft Suite 7 Operational Flight Program (OFP) which has already begun under the existing OO-ALC contract. The suite 7 OFP consists of ongoing fleet modernization and upgrade effort which includes development and integration of the suite 7 OFP as well as supporting studies and analyses, and Deficiency Report (DR) resolution. This action will continue work on drawings, source code, executable files, and technical data that will be delivered when the Suite 7effort is completed. The A-10 Suite 7 OFP contract will also include requirements for software development and integration, systems engineering, system/sub-system integration, program integration, program management, configuration management and configuration status accounting, development and preparation of source data for technical orders/data /publications, support equipment, procurement, and OFP installation and flight test support. Delivery of a field release is required not later than June 2012 for the subject Suite 7 OFP development with post-field support to continue thru June 2013. Oh and I've also found this which appears to have some additional details so maybe I can fill in the blanks without having to bother you Eddie!: http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/budget/fy2011/usaf-peds/0207131f.pdf

Really enjoy reading it and getting mission ideas from it. Read it 10+ times

What about the TFFT?

I can't speak for anyone else but if I report a bug first and it ends up being a duplicate of a later post discovered first I'd just be happy to see that it was acknowledged and reported. Which is the whole point of the beta. I'm a bit surprised this was even worth a thread.

Invincible is just a matter of adding the waypoint advanced function in perform command if memory serves. If you just want to hide it from AI then I would just make it invisible. Still visible to players- hidden from AI. Also highly highly highly recommend st3v3s tanker respawn script available in the scripts library stickied in this forum. If your tanker gets whacked or runs out of fuel another respawns with the same waypoints / speeds etc. Respawning can be done through mist- or manually done on a group dead condition- and manually entered late activated clones. Which route do you prefer?

Having one unit in moving group state RED, the rest GREEN
ENO replied to xxJohnxx's topic in Mission Editor
My closest suggestion then would be to clone the group, turn the second one into the tung and have it follow shortly behind... Not sure if you can even script AI off for individual units within a group. -

I can't recall but don't the SA11 units need to be stationary to be radiating? That would be handy if you disabled group dispersal (leave it on but make it 0 seconds from what I've read otherwise it may not work... you can test it). That way the SA11 units wouldn't turn on until the group got to its destination. -
Neither would work because of the presence of the other.

Thing is... as soon as opposite side coalition are within 2 miles or so the base goes neutral and you will get no services.
