Question for those in the US who received a shipment recently from VPC; Was the package delivered or did you have to pick it up at your local P.O? Also, did the package requie signature at delivery or pickup? Thanks.

Transparency is always a good thing but I'll just repeat my point; VPC needs to establish relationships that greatly reduce the shipping cost component of their product line. I believe the up front fees to VPC for doing so would be immediately offset by volume of sales. Thanks for your reply.

I'm aware of a startup that will manufacture and sell high end flight yokes for flight sims. They have already secured a deal with Amazon for distribution and potentially shipping domestically. The yokes will be manufactured in China. The company is us based. I believe it's possible to do if VPC so desired. They've invested a significant amount of money to have shipping cost impede their return.

One can only hope. Per the EMS Global -US, EMS in the states is USPS. Their customer care call center is in fact the USPS customer care center. I've never had any luck trying to speak to a human at USPS. EDIT 10-3-18: Figured out that the USPS tracking system should have info on my WARBRD and sure enough, USPS tracking says my package cleared Customs at 10:15am this morning and is pending pick-up by USPS. 2+ days clearing Customs. OK, feeling hopeful again.

Well the saga of the WARBRD order continues. I ordered on July 17, order finally shipped on September 25. I was overjoyed to see my Shipment notice, through an outfit named "EMS Express". I was further overjoyed when the shipment arrived at JFK Airport and was handed to US Customs at 4:18pm on 9-28-18. And that's where it sits as of today, 10-2-18 at 1800 hrs. There's no way to find out if and when Customs will grace me with action and hand the package to the USPS. Seems to me that two full working days should be enough time for Customs to do their thing, but whaqt do I know.

Appreciate the info but 33% of the purchase price for a shipment that is less than 10 pounds and could fit in an average briefcase is ridiculus. They better find a domestic distributor if they want any volume from the US. Even if they have to raise prices a bit.

I ordered the WARBRD base and planned to use it with the TMW Grip. With VPC's last announcement, I went to their EU Store to investigate buying the T-50 Grip. Was just about to pull the trigger when I noticed the shipping charge to the USA (via TNT Express), a whopping $56! That's 33% of the purchase price of the grip. That has to improve VPC if you want to sell to the market in the US.

Hi, I ordered my WARBRD on 17 July 2018 and have yet to hear from VIRPIL regarding ship date. Is there anyone here that ordered after 17 July that has received their order or at least heard of their ship date? Thanks

Not so, at least in the latest BETA version. I included the files in the Cockpit Texture ZIP archive and ended up with corrupted/pixilated graphics in the cockpit. Didn't try the Stable version but that should be the same. EDIT: Found an error in the full texture zip package, corrected and all is well. Mod works when mod files are added to the full texture zip for the cockpit.

Hi, Have a WARBRD base on the way (hopefully) and I plan on using the WARTHOG grip with the WARBRD. Questions; What will I have to do to configure the WARTHOG grip with the WARBRD? Springs? Cam? Thanks

I've had my Warbird base on order since 17 July, 2018 and, per Virpil's last announcement, probably won't see my Warbird until October at the earliest. I hope it's worth the wait, which at this point is just hard to believe. All I can say is that if you want one of their controllers, don't expect it this year.

The AutoStart command is not working as of the last BETA update. The command initiates the start sequence but the engine does not start. I have not checked the Autostart command in the stable version but it worked in both versions when the aircraft was released EDIT: I checked the stable version and the command works. When I tried the BETA version it was with the Nevada map instant action mission. The aircraft looked strange also with no skin, just the bare aircraft. Does the aircraft function in maps other than Caucasus? Final Edit: Tested AutoStart in BETA and Stable versions and problem is in BETA version, Instant Action - Cold and Dark - Nevada map. Strange, engine tries to start, prop moves but engine does not catch and start.

Hi, Hopefully someone here can educate me. I pre-ordered a Warbird Base and VPC confirmed the order via email on 7-17-18. I read from VPC that these bases should become available and begin shipping during the week of 7-16-18. I was curious and tried to check the status of my order today and noticed that the availability of the Warbird Base is listed as "Out of Stock" on VPC-Controls. I was wondering if anyone here has seen a shipment notice for the Warbird of may have any info on the status of orders at this poiont. Thanks

Hi, I've read a few posts here where control assignments have been made for the CW Spit. I've got no CW assignments in the Controls Assignment menu. Moreover, the CW version only appears in my Quick Mission drop down and is missing from the Fast Mission aircraft selection choices. Can someone help me out; Is there a separate Control Assignment section for the CW Spit, and is the CW Spit missing from the Fast Missions a problem? Thanks

I just checked the status of this problem on their public bug tracker. The problem was reported on 5-23-18 and is UNASSIGNED as of 1800 EDT 5-29-18. If that's indicative of Magnitude's level of support, then I've purchased my last module from them. the Leatherneck Simulations page on Facebook that was copied and posted in this thread states that "We are aware of the CTD for a few users attempting to fly the Mig21 on the Persian Map". So, what is the status?

Thanks for your opinions but I was directing my questions to the developer. Access Violations have been associated with Star Force problems for this module and others in the past. Hence the question.

I noticed in my log and several others posted here that the crash may relate to an "Access Violation". Could this be a DRM issue? Hgve we identified the cause of the crashes?

+1. Never had a problem with TrackIR. Make sure your TIR software is current for the version of TIR you're using.
