  1. I have the same "canopy open slide show" problem, as experienced in the Cold Start Instant action mission after the March 17, 2017 update.
  2. I experienced the bug after the 2.0.5 update applied March 17, 2017. While canopy is open, sim is like a slide show. As son as canopy closes, FPS return to normal. EDIT: OK, I missed the date of your "fixed" post. I'll check after next NTTR update.
  3. I've got the same problem after release 2.0.5. See: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=184254 I know how to apply the NWS, etc. What I'm seeing relates to a "flutter" of the joystick and the rudder, when applied. If the OP could check that, we might have a pair.
  4. Hi, I noticed that I have no rudder control in the F86 after the 2.0.5 update. I verified that I have no Axis conflicts. When looking from external view, the rudder "flutters" left or right when the corresponding pedal input is applied. No luck after a fresh Saved Games config. Other modules have no problem and Win 10 sees the controller and the Axis input. Thoughts? Thanks
  5. Dumb Question: What's the installation path for Spitfire skins? I can't seem to find the Spit under Bazaar/Aircraft. Thanks.
  6. Thanks, Great Module and great list of fixes. Can we add please the "Startup" and "Shutdown" cheats (ALT+Home and ALT+End) commands and mapping to joystick. Thanks
  7. Title says it, these commands are standard "Cheats" in DCS. AutoStart gets the aircraft to the point it is ready to taxi. Autostop provides a complete shutdown sequence. Autostart and Autostop (Control + Home, and Control + End) should be mapped to Joystick along with Keyboard. Thanks
  8. I guess I'm old school. I have the three versions of DCS, i.e., Stable, BETA and Alpha NTTR 2.0, as separate installs on one of my SATA 3 7200rpm HDD's. I run the DCS Updater for each install from the Start menu. I've never had a problem updating or "selecting" each version. SSD? Running from the SATA HDD, I get frame rates above 45 on all three versions. That's with an I7 6700K, 32gb ram and a GTX 1070. And no worries regarding SSD capacity or maintenance. I can remember when LNS was concerned about providing a copy of the MIG 21BIS for the BETA version of DCS. I recall the beta copy of the MIG was counted as an authorized copy against the maximum copy of 10. My, have times changed. I'm ready for the 27th. I'll just update my BETA copy, jump in the Viggen and try to learn Swedish. :joystick:
  9. I had no problem installing through Module Manager after it prompted me for the install. I assume you bought the Gazelle and the serial key code is listed in the order summary in your account. Check your profile and if the order or key code is amiss then get ahold of DCS Support. I've got the Gazelle installed in 1.5.5, OpenBETA and OpenAlpha, all of which installed by Module Manager.
  10. I have the same problem. I tried to assign a joystick button to the C-101 keyboard commands and when it's assigned, only the first page of the kneeboard will display. You cannot advance the pages of the kneeboard, either forward or backward. This problem does not exist for any other aircraft. I can assign joystick buttons to any kneeboard command and they work fine. The stock keyboard commands work fine for the kneeboard. The problem only exists when you try to assign a joystick command to the stock keyboard command.
  11. If the FM allows for prolonged inverted flight of a helicopter then the FM has significant problems. I would have thought that is obvious. The point is the FM should not allow unrealistic flight envelopes, certainly not inverted flight.
  12. Handle what? If the "Sim" FM allows this then obviously the FM has problems. Physics should tell anyone knowledgeable what would result from attempting prolonged inverted flight. I don't think it would be a mystery or hard to model.
  13. I don't think the Gazelle (or any Helicopter) can do that IRL so I am not surprised you have problems)
  14. Post #28 in this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=180460&page=3
  15. In both tracks, the Gazelle crashed shortly after takeoff. I had the same problem playing your "Landing" track you posted on the 6th. Yurgon also had the same result when he tried your track. I don't know what could be causing the problem unless it relates to VR on your end and not VR here. As I said on the 6th, we've had many track problems over the recent past. Anyway, thanks for the tracks.
  16. OK, off to practice. Thanks again for the help.
  17. Apparently Win 10 converts a .trk file extension to .zip. I guess the file extension definitions need work. Anyhow, I restored the .trk file extension and the track played fine. Good job on the landing. Question, did you use Trim while on the circuit and/or while landing? Thanks
  18. Yurgon, I unzipped your track and I got a folder with track info but no .TRK to play in the sim. Can you repost just the .trk ? Thanks
  19. Yurgon, Thanks, I'll take a look at your track in the am. I saw the same as you when I tried Rotorheads track. Flagbum, I have a Thrust master Warthog horas. No curves or otherwise sensitivity adjustments but I do have a 4 inch extension on the joystick.
  20. Thanks, I land the Huey the same as you but perhaps using the Vertical Speed Instrument to control descent. VRS is a killer in the Huey and I am not always successful in avoiding it. I don't know how you recorded the video but it paused every 5 seconds or so (buffering?) when I played it back. I agree that VRS is missing or very much subdued in the Gazelle. My biggest problem landing the Gazelle is the approach and transition to hoover then landing. I decrease torque to lose altitude. I pull back on the cyclic to slow. I'm trying to execute a slow forward approach to a hover. When I get app 10-15 feet off the ground, the Gazelle falls off or reverses, gaining speed as it does so. At that point, all bets are off for a good landing and I'm chasing the damn thing all around the sky trying to stabilize. What I'd like to be able to do is approach the landing spot while losing altitude, put on the "brakes", enter a hover and land. Sounds simple. I can Hover/Taxi the Gazelle, not well but I can do it. I have yet to figure out how to get in that state from altitude. Any help would be appreciated.
  21. Wasn't asking for a lesson(s), just some help. Post the tracks if you have time. Thanks
  22. LOL, I watched the track and you crashed on take-off. We've had all kinds of problems with Tracks being screwed up of late and I hope that's what's happened to your track. If it is, then video is probably the best bet. I did notice that your Gazelle was sporting a Marine livery. Given my knowledge of Marine coptor pilots, I understand now the takeoff problem. :pilotfly:
