  1. To anyone successfully using Reverb G2 in multi threading would you be so kind as to post your settings? Game, OpenXR and Nvidia? I no longer have the inverted mask since the last patch but my mask seems to be too small, the image is swimming and I can't find any cursor. There is also nothing on the monitor. The regular DCS Beta shows a mirror image of the VR image on the 2D monitor. For the record here's my PC specs. CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X MOBO - Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX Memory - G.Skill DDR5-6000 (2 ea 32Gb) Graphics card - PNY GeForce RTX 4080 Storage - 2 each 2TB P3 NVMe PCIe 3.0 M.2 Internal SSD VR - Reverb G2 using OpenXR latest build
  2. Fw 190A-4 of Maj. H. von Bonin, CO of JG 54, Pskov, Soviet Union, Spring 1943.Lots of additional weathering including mud splashes on undersurfaces (many of the airfields in Russia were basically dirt strips. Add the rains of April 1943 and I'm pretty sure they would be mud splattered). Tires and landing gear also mudded (and the Continental tire markings made more apparent. Revised paint chipping with more of a bare aluminum look. Some bootprints and blurry handprints. Uploaded to DCS User Files. Awaiting approval my moderator.
  3. @YSIAD_RIP. No, since the 786A is working perfectly. If someone else tries it, I'd love to hear their opinion. The PG-44 is much more viscous... it might have to be more like 75% 786A to 25% PG-44.
  4. I changed it to: return float4(pos, 0.5, 0.5); It did change the size of the mask but I still only see one side. I think I'll wait until there's a fix for this before using MT. Thanks for trying though.

  8. Oh crap. I didn't think of that Since it's a depiction of a historical non-Segar illustration I think it's exempt. The only country, AFAIK, where it isn't public domain is the US. @static_actual, beautiful attention to detail and great use of roughmets! Impressive.
  9. I get the problem whether XRNecksafer is enabled or not. Perhaps I need to completely remove it but I'm not willing to play without it since I'm limited in my head travel due to old man syndrome.
  10. Yes, that seems to be the same issue. It doesn't look like there's a resolution though. One of the last posts: upside down and back to front is usually a XRNecksafer problem I get the problem whether XRNecksafer is enabled or not. Perhaps I need to completely remove it but I'm not willing to play without it since I'm limited in my head travel due to old man syndrome.

  13. I set pixel density to 0.9 but still have the issue. @BIGNEWY. Are there any log files that we could post to help the team. I saw some were posting DxDiag as well.

  17. Reverb G2 and OpenXR When launching from Skatezilla DCS Updater GUI (which launches the non MT DCS.exe) view is normal. When launching from the MT DCS.exe in the bin-mt folder I get appears to be only one eyepiece and the mask seems to be upside down. However, closing one eye and then the other shows that both eyepieces are active but show the same view. This happens whether using --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR or not. dcs log.txt

I'm confused as to where to place this: --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR If I add it to the Target window of the shortcut like this: "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe"--force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR when I hit apply it says "Problem with shortcut ... not valid"
  19. @Art-J. I agree that the original photo looks like it might be camo. So here's that version. I added some more weathering "eye candy" and corrected some copy / paste mistakes in the original weathering. This will be updated into the silver versions.   20. Seeing the radar nose made me think of the Sea Mossie. Wouldn't it be a blast to try some carrier landings? Probably not realistic to hope for one though.
  21. @Raptorattacker. I think that you will really enjoy skinning with PBR and Roughmets. Way more control than the alpha in IL2. I hope that IL2 will incorporate PBR in the future. I don't think that you have to have purchased any individual module in order to make a skin for it. The world of lua files is going to be something to get a grip on though...

  23. Yeah, I did see that it looked like it might be camo and I'll probably do a camo version as well. I didn't take it as ungrateful at all! I also want to do one with "Azure" blue undersides but there seems to be controversy in the scale modelers forums as to what color that actually is. Anyone have some input on that?
