  1. For anyone interested, the engine controls explained for the Jetstream 31 which has basically the same system as the Bronco:
  2. Ahh... got it. Thanks for the info! I really do like the module. If that's true, TURBOSHAFT would be the most appropriate one. EDIT: I retract that statement.
  3. I had the same issue with the Mirage F1. Getting the latest version of the "Clickable Cockpit" fixed it. I have no issues currently. Make sure that you have the latest version.
  4. Really nice module guys. I'm really enjoying it. However, I think you have the engine controls wrong. It seems that the condition levers are being used as a prop RPM control. This is not correct. The Garrett engine basically operates at full RPM normally. Power (Torque) is varied by the power levers by changing the pitch of the props. The prop RPM is therefore a function of the power lever and not the condition lever. Speed Lever (SL), sometimes called the Condition Lever19 (CL) or RPMLever, basically serves one function; to select the engine operating speed. Normal Speed Lever positions are: High, Cruise, and Low. The RPM selected is according to the flight or ground condition, and once set, requires resetting only when the flight condition changes. High (100%) RPM is used for takeoff and landing, Cruise (96-97%) RPM for normal climb/cruise/ descent operations, and Low (65-73%) RPM for engine starting and ground or taxi operations. Maybe I'm missing something since most of my turboprop experience is with the P&WC PT-6 engines and not the Garrets. Look at this document: https://mikeklochcfi.files.wordpress.com/2021/02/garett-engine-manual.pdf
  5. Update: PG-44A is too thick. Cleaned it off and went back to 767A.
  6. I'm not sure why but if I select "Next Missile" (Rt short) then select Down-Short it works properly. I get the message "No target selected" and both the Doors and the Observe switches are in the down position. He will now work the next time I ask him to search for target.
  7. I tried the dampers as supplied from Winwing but they had to be tightened so much to overcome the centering action of the rubber boot that there was just too much friction to allow for precise control. I then applied Nyogel 767 as shown and... night and day! I could back off the clamping force to almost nothing and the stick stayed where released but now had a smooth feel. I have ordered and will be trying a heavier damping grease, Nye PG44a as soon as it arrives. I highly recommend giving this a try for heli pilots.
  8. Thanks for responding @AeriaGloria but I did have the Petrovitch menu up. I also tried switching the menu off after giving the down short command but no luck. I've confirmed that the "Observe" switch is up and the "Doors" switch is down after giving the down short command by switching to the front cockpit after giving him sufficient time to flip the switches.
  9. After destroying a target and before turning off to re-set, I press "Down Short" to tell him to close the doors and turn off "Observe". He closes the doors but doesn't turn off "Observe" causing the gyros to tumble or be damaged. Now he won't bring up a list of targets. Is "Down Short" the correct command? Is there something else?
  10. Yeah, that sounds counter-intuitive but I'll try it. One thing I noticed while comparing Single player, our JG-1 server and Enigma server is the high memory usage on Enigma. I've now enabled XMP and am gradually turning up the default speed. Currently at 2600 MHz. (32 GB of 4 ea 8 GB G-skill DDR4). GPU is worked pretty hard on Single player and our server but looks lower on Enigma. Bottom line, this machine is old and I'm looking to either get a new one or do some upgrades to this one.
  11. Yes, Meta shader and FXO are regularly emptied. I set clutter graphics option to -150000 and also disabled Tacview in the Specials tab. I'm now getting 40 - 60 FPS. I'll let our other guys know. Thanks!
  12. Several of my squad with older machines are getting very low FPS and stuttering on Enigma's which makes it unplayable. I have a 1080Ti and get 60+ FPS on all other servers but only 20 or less on Enigma. This is in 2D. Another member gets 10 or so (he's in VR though. We really want to fly here since it's the only real option for populated Cold War action. Are others having this issue? I suspect that Oveloard may be hogging resources. Is there any way to individually disable it. Any other advice?
  13. Ah, thanks, I'll try that. EDIT: Yep, the latest clickable FC3 mod did the trick. Thanks!
  14. It appears that my Mirage F1 was built inside some Russian plane (Su-25T?). So far I've done a game repair... no joy. Removed the module through the Module Manager and did a computer re-start after removal. Re-installed the module through the Module Manager... still no joy. It's unusable as is. Please help.
  15. I'll give it a shot. I assume that if it screws stuff up I should be able to just delete. If not, a repair should fix it.
  16. Hi @Bailey. I would like to try making this for the MiG-21bis but that acft has no Scripts folder and no Macro_sequencies.lua. Should I create a Scripts folder and put my modified (for the MiG-21) Macro_sequencies.lua in that folder?
  17. Somehow I've managed to screw up the Copilot / Gunner head position. I'm using TrackIR. The copilot is now stuck looking backwards. I can sort of fix it by looking off to the side and hitting re-center but as soon as I hit re-center again he's pointed backwards again. Tried moving head with R+shft + R+ctrl + Numpads and saving with Ralt+0 but he always snaps back to backwards. This is only happening with the Hind Copilot. EDIT: NVM. I fixed it by editing the SnapViews.lua in Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\View, player slot 2. I just copied / pasted the settings from player slot 1. Can someone fill me in on what the individual lines affect? I assume FOV is forward and back, hAngle = looking up or down? vAngle = ?, x, y and z_trans = pretty obvious and so is roll angle, cockpit_version = ?. [13] = {--default view viewAngle = 89.777542,--FOV hAngle = 0.000000, vAngle = -15.907917, x_trans = 0.000000, y_trans = 0.000000, z_trans = 0.000000, rollAngle = 0.000000, cockpit_version = 0,
  18. I just had earlier today and am currently checking the individual relations for correct assignments.
  19. Yeah, I most likely have different peripherals than you and it would be of minimal help. Thanks for the response and offer though! Actually I just found and I'm going through the video tutorials by GottHold Nicetomeet which are very extensive. I think I will probably have most of my questions answered. For any other latecomers here's the link to his videos: https://www.youtube.com/c/GottHoldNicetomeet/videos?view=0&sort=dd&shelf_id=0
  20. Sure, just so I have something to go by besides the default. Much appreciated.
  21. Would you mind posting your relation .rl file?
  22. Some of the controls on my existing throttle, hat switches and some buttons for example, have different functions for particular models. How do I avoid over-wrighting those? "Merge and Keep existing Binds" or "Merge, Keep Existing and Add to"?
  23. What is the best way to use JoyPro when replacing a single controller? I want to keep all of my rudder and throttle bindings as is but have to make new bindings for my new joystick. EDIT: I think I have it... "Import Bindings" for my current items, leaving out the old joystick, and go from there. Right?
  24. There are 4 models (BE, CE,EE and M) each with separate maps. Is there a way to map one and copy that mapping to the others? What mappings are common to all models?
  25. Deleted both folders with no issues after.
