  1. Good. Hope those animals enjoy it.
  2. Yep, I'd bet my firstborn that's a controller issue. Faulty bind or a broken device. You could try unplugging everything and see what happens just using the keyboard.
  3. Yeah, I remarked on that on release day. Hopefully it's fixed in the next patch.
  4. Being admin doesn't give you access to everything.
  5. Passing the threshold at 350 km/h or so is probably ideal, but going a bit faster is fine. When you're above the rwy, flare to increase drag and touch down SOFTLY. Don't idle the throttle to descend, you'll fall like a brick. Sink rate should basically be zero.
  6. Good. Things like this can only do good things for the standing of women in that country.
  7. I tried that years ago, and I thought it was too floppy. Also, now my stick is extended by a decimetre or so, so it'd be even worse. With all the springs and the extension, I actually think it's pretty damn spot on in terms of restoring force.
  8. I downloaded the image (what an unbelievably shitty way to host a pic), and he's pulling +1 g at 11 deg alpha, about 650 kIAS, in level flight according to the ADI but 1000 ft/min climb according to the VSI. Testing it myself, it does seem weird. No matter how level I fly, I can't get below 10 deg AoA. Is that how the F-15 flies? EDIT: The AoA instrument is in units, not degrees. Also, I found that apparently 12 units of alpha is fine for cruising. Unless I'm misunderstanding the point of the OP, (which would be forgiveable based on its content), there is no issue.
  9. But how will Wags and Cobra know which planes we want!?
  10. Hyvä! I bet it's nice to fly with that long stick.
  11. I feel the need...
  12. Thanks for your input. I agree, obviously, with your observation that it puts more stress on the ball joint and o-ring. I decided to put the springs back in to test how much stiffer the stick became, and it was actually quite considerable. I've always thought that those piddly little springs were completely dominated by the big one anyway, so it wouldn't make that much difference, but it does. So, I decided to leave them in.
  13. I suspect that's what's happened here. To be honest, I think they overdid it.
  14. Yep, great flare there.
  15. I guess it's possible I may be misremembering the direction, but I'm 90% sure the left wing dips for me. Maybe it depends on loadout.
  16. As I wrote in the OP, I have checked my equipment. I had a monitoring program open beside the sim when I saw this behaviour, and the roll axis was sitting at 50.00%.
  17. Maybe it empties the fuel tanks asymmetrically? But they're all pretty central, I think, so that shouldn't make much of a difference.
  18. They were switched in the patch yesterday. I was under the impression that this way is correct, do you know more than I?
  19. Basically everything on Airboyd's channel is worth watching.
  20. This is one of those situations where I don't know what that guy means, but I know it's probably wrong.
  21. Cool. What kind of catastrophic failure was it?
  22. I'm amazingly good at ebaying. I've done this a few times: see an auction for something rare I want end at a time I'm usually asleep set my alarm early to get up and try to snipe it wake up tired as hell in the middle of the night, drag myself out of bed make some coffee, sit down at computer get distracted by something, forget to place bid
  23. Yeah, the suspension isn't there yet; LN have stated that they're not finished with the tweaking, so I imagine it'll get updated sooner or later. Until then, when it's this lively, we'll all get really good at landing it.
  24. I don't blame him, they look awesome.
  25. You could also get the stop code from the windows logs.
