In MP missions if the mission designer is not a realism freak like most of us..khm...then the waypoints are a really good way to find stuff. Im sure that you know how to use the radio compass. Say the brief says that the objective is at WP 3. Select NAV ENR and toggle to WP3. On the compass the yellow arrow will point to the direction and on the top corner of it you see the distance and required heading. The orange arrow is the route but you dont need to follow unless...yeah dont worry about it now. So u have set this. Select AG mode and with the targeting display look toward the WP with the range on it matching the radio compass range to target. voala.... have fun and really.... turn off the "radar" use cockpit only no external view no labels and refly the missions. It will be ballsweating hard. Yes... but trust me... in MP you have to worry about not just finding stuff but crazy MIG29 pilots like me who want a piece of you. And we all want a piece of you soon or latter ;) Oh and then there are SAMs too....and oh boy they want you.....ALL OF YOU!! My mistake...

Whats missing from the rig is the SSD drive. After the GPU its the second best thing that you need. the large HDs cluter up quite fast... This is what i done Samsung 64gb ssd for OP. Samsung 256gb for games 1tb external for the rest. the ssd will make that fps dropp history.

Yep... all the "get a hard lock on" before lunch rubbish. I know that he gets a hard on "lock" playing the game. But i have to correct this for the sake of it :) SEAD (suppression of enemy air defense) is not a missile :joystick: its an operation. Like DEAD (destruction of enemy air defense). Correct term is ARM (Anti Radiation Missile) @Axion how about we all get them at the same time :surrender: and the SU25T too! Im glad to see that MIG29 has had its smoke signature reduced. Nice to see bug squashing from ED. Lots of uh1 and mi8 fixes witch will allow more diversity for MP. Hopefully the network is improved by these fixes. I like to see the datalink on russian fighters corrected with the next patch too. Thanks again looking forward the rest :)

The best way to learn is PvP Get on the TS with others share targets co-ordinate with CAP or CAS come up with a plan. Oh and tell the fighters to cover your ass if u are a mud mover. They/we/I like to go after whatever and sometimes neglect the strikers. But being confident is not a must. Just know how to operate the aircraft its systems and the rest will come. I learned how to get airbore with the kamov in 1:12 min :) But please come guys to PvP War, 104, 51st, and sometimes HDF59

For me the 2 seperate drive was a way to go. Found a good prized samsung 128gb for the OS and got another 256gb for the rest. Why? Well think of it as a redundant system. If one goes the otherone is most likely ok. I havent found any performance incrace wth 2 drives. Just that comon sence dealing with windows...

Hey Shamandgg When i was drawing up the idea with Snowfox around his Total War scenario trilogy and also some imput from the 59th squadron (yes they are still around and holding training sessions again with almost all the old members and if i lm not wrong u guys had some previous engagemnst :) )with whom im assossiated with we realised that 1.2.6 wont allow us to have this sort of engagement. So due to that and also to my winter lazynes this event is still in the works. The good news is that all 3 part is finished and got the ingame msgs translated. Briefings are getting done as well with pictures and "recon" drawings etc. At present most of the objectives are units of tanks arty etc. I like to see bridges, power lines (destroy that and enemy command will need 30mins to get online) power stations headquaters to be included. Some will be in cities others remote areas where even the su25 will need 2 dropp tanks and only 2 wepons per ac to get there. We enjoy flying on the 51st to get practice but we enjoy unpredictability more. So do You! :) What i like to avert is since this will be my first attemt to organise the come short on well.... noobish problems. So tge more imput i/we get the better it will be for all. I had a word with Frosite not too long ago and when we feel its time the 51st will give us the server time to test and to host the event. I hope he has not forgitten it :) So all who areinterested for the sake of the quality you can ask me bombard me with question advices the lot. This is how i see it: many hands make the load lighter. It might be the i have not even thought about a certain thing and need some enlightment.

I wish and many other too that we cold replicate that day. I have been told about players up to 70 on red flag events.... 4 wing cmmander on each side only controling trafic and combat. I was toying with the idea that since i cant realy get a good source for price tags on weapons points will replace them. I would need some feedback on that pls. Ideas suggestions how to implement. Dont be shy about it. Possibly the most ridicilus idea will be the best :)

This is still in the works guys. The stress tests are getting better i hope and with the next patch stability improvement i hope it can be held with all parties left satisfied :) now i only need my ISP to get my connection sorted out since i can only fly after 12am and before 10am.

On the thread. I had a solid lock on me by an SA19 and a Sa11. Both in range. Arms fired all exploded. Can it be that the code gets messed with if the client has packet loss? Im experiencing some packet loss and this could be on factor. Oh track is in the beta descussion

Changeing VechicleFire.lua to firelarge.lua would it be a mod? Anyone else experiencing longer startup time for the software? I get not responding msg in task manager for 10sec or so and then it loads up. Su25T hard instant mission makes mine to crash. Engine smoke on the Mig is somewhat exessive and couses fps drop No control setting in MP Otherwise is f-in awsome Thanks

I do find the 120C a litte uber done yes. The scenario I like to draw up will not allow 6-8 of them on a single sortie. I was doing a bit more digging and found that the cost of the ordanace varies a lot. This hower is not a setback but an obstacle to overcome. Trust me you wont see more that 2-4 of the C on a bird in total. The same will go for ET just to balance it out. It will take team work to get into engagement. If any Eagle pilot thinks that at 40.000ft he can spam amraams well... i dont thinks so. Most of the engagement will take place between escorts. And then with a commander at hand an a10 or su25 can be deadly to the enemy fighter. Remember that the teams will have to come up with a plan to get objecives done. Ordanace will be a huge factor. The more you carry the longer you are exposed to the enemy. Get shot down and you loose more than just the plane. You will see 25s with only AAs and vikhirs... or just MLs on a DEAD sortie. A10 with 4mavs etc It wont be airquake like the 51st is. Thats to practice so you get the hang of it. But when it comes to events be it any you show that you can fly the aircraft and work as a team. Ambushes traps flankings etc....

A little update guys with the anticipation of improved MP with 1.2.7 i cant keep to "in the coming weeks" hell since i know this patch is coming out did not do much to realize it....lazy. Anyway as soon it comes out and we get some good results this will be on and hopefully we can have a 20/20 team.... or 15/15... that would BE AWSOME!!

Great stuff still adding new item on the list. I cant see any removed which is good news. A good while back the ATC was mentioned to be upgraded. I like to see that with patch no2/3 If there is any chance ED can we have the datalink bugs cleaned up and get AWACS functions on hotkeys that can be maped to the HOTAS? Im sure they have their hands full. Hope to see these realize. Thanks!

Ha! Broke mine yesterday Just at the top spiner. Got some duct tape out a craft knife and fixed it. I have to say becouse i even tapeed it to the headset its even better now. I agree that the quality is flimsy but it was never ment to be strong....just becouse thats hiw NP makes some revanue. I would like to have aluminium ones but thag would cost too much. If none of you seen The Lightbulb Conspiracy and know what planed obsolecence is then youtube it. Well worth watching it
