This is a nice presentation. Good work Wags! It's also nice to hear about the backgrounds and where it fits in with the company. I'll be looking forward to the next few year at least.
-
The broadcaster takes his time in uploading it or is it just me and did someone hide Wags in Xplane 10?

First explosionshockwave then sonic boom, it was too small and too high for heat damage.

But to get back on hidden clues. Isn't one of the latest hidden clues that 1.2.3 is undergoing testing, which makes IT happen very soon. The event that cannot be named to not let it cause bad luck. This monday morning meditation session will be in honor of IT.

In general, when theres 1 or 2 asteroids, theres usualy more. The question is only what sizes. Weren't we only looking at 20+% of the sky? This is pretty much why this current rock slipped through. Sweet dreams.

Welcome to 2013 and the world of product placement. But, Fedor has a point that when something is revealed as scoop in an interview, it can be re-scooped at the core of your customers. Perhaps it is a personal choice in communication to keep things speculative so that small or large changes in productionsceduals can be made without too much critics and kind of stay below the radar. How warm am i?

And follow it to the mothership for 2 minutes to aquire scandata and plant a virus in the UFO before it docks?

You don't have to own CA to see how it might work out. You can run the simulation with AI. Humans aren't much better than AI on the ground apart from making target descisions. Just run the creation in the missioneditor and use the camera to see what happens, you don't even have to fly an aircraft.

That's axactly what i'm thinking and what's relevant for me. A P51D counterpart opens up a new interest for buying both modules. I don't dislike the P-51D at the moment, but also don't share a certain enthausiasm about the aircraft. This is why i don't own the P51-D.

new hotas warthog-AI takes over control of my aircraft!?
BRooDJeRo replied to 9.JG27 DavidRed's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Hmm ok. It doesn't bother me, looks like it was more like sharing feelings. Guess you can read it in many ways. Don't pick the worst! -
Basicly theres no way out when you set go from A to B due to the terrain. could be anything. Just blame someone on this forum and it's all cool.

Seems like an overwhelming bullittrain, but only 2 A10's got downed compared to all ground vehicles wiped out. It's very hard to hit plus the A10 can take a couple of bullits before it realy doesn't fly anymore. At some point you just press fire untlll your run out of bullits and hope at least 1 him. DCS isn't this arcady. Forget about BF and that single gun on that carrier. Vehicles, at least not here, don't have the mouse to control the turrets, it's the stick. This makes manual targetting very hard. They must be very close if not realy on top. If this would have worked than NATO should have lost the gulf war. Guess the simulation fits reality on that part. Just a bunch of close range guns on the ground is like a year of free hamburgers for the Hog. When you want to know what AI vehicles do compared to human vehicles. Humans aren't more precise, humans can switch from standard decisions in DCS. At the moment AI is ace with shooting. I don't think i hit anything even with pumping 10000k rounds at them. The AI hits sometimes. It's different when the vehicle can lock stuff. This rules out tracking and tracing.

Specify mission date on Mission Editor?
BRooDJeRo replied to eFirehawk's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
What next patch? Who's patch? Where patch? Did anyone say patch? :music_whistling: -
Yes, good idea. You PM your secretary....

Billionaires have the twitch to spend money in different ways where numbers don't opose the amount of fun to be had.

As far as i've seen any AI has a fixed frequency, unless frequency switching is manualy included inside the triggered functions. But i'm not sure if hopping is needed. When red as well as blue has 124mhz as the base frequency, blue and red can't hear eachothers radio's, which makes the need of hopping for security pointless.
-
You need fisical ground crew to have 'ground crew' in the comms menu. The shortcut is directly in the warehouse with the loadout popup, this is not the groundcrew, although the same voice is used when you press ok and get confirmation.

Is there a billionaire around willing to invest in an original flyable Fw190 as a studymodel for DCS? Wouldn't be awesome gamepromotion too?

Yeah, i know what you mean. Modern day border security is pretty much the musea, airshows and parades to keep things tidy. The fact the number exists is enough, but usualy end up as spare parts or the Nevada junkyard. OMG...he said Nevada... But just the hypothesus...with all the carriers active, all military airfields and personel and tankers etc. would it at least be possible to field half that number in F35's (stay on topic), let's say 1250 combatready in the air? It might even be needed where we need to combine army's of the world to protect the planet against a hostile alien invasionforce making the final touchdown and they want humans alive like breeding cattle for consumption or slavery. I know it's very far fetched and as far as we know it is most likely not going to happen, still there's an existing chance and awareness that it might happen. So again, would it be possible?

Russian Air Force Photos and Video (NO DISCUSSION)
BRooDJeRo replied to Flаnker's topic in Military and Aviation
Hmm, does the right wing look just a little more twisted or is it optical illusion? It realy seems a little bit more bend even concidered further distance and being a non horizontal picture. -
Is the high number to try and keep up with china? Lol, ever imagined all nation having the need to fly them all at once... would it be possible?

Better late than nevah! Happy birthday Skate :yay:

Though as much too. Some time ago i saw a documentary about these pilots and indeed in most dogfights the german planes would stall slightly sooner than oponents, although outrunning couldn't happen before a fake maneuvre was made. Most of the time in many dogfights both side would call it a day for whisky and schnapps instead of doing a 'last-man-standing'. The general consensus was also 'a fighter that runs away, lives to fight another day. Guess that was still possible without guided missiles, the runway part that is.

The DCS secret service in action. :D The Digital Universal Semi-Secret Aviation Systems Databank. To hell with secrecy and have max detail clickable F22 in DCS. The rest of the nations will know what's new in that plane in a short time anyways if they don't know already. Just the general public doesn't know yet.
