  2. Isn't it actualy the standard camera rotation which you do in the general settings? Not the general settings in CA, but realy the general settings between the other modules. The DCS World general settings.

You can now route them, set speed and altitude, and set targets. • Ground units in group now stay in formation with user when in first person control mode. User can set formation and ROE when in 1st person mode. • Updated, higher resolution ground unit HUDs. • Added min and max range rings for all indirect fire systems. • Added countdown timer for indirect fire missions. • Mission designer can now determine which ground units can and cannot be controlled by players (1st person and Command Map). • Platform Shake is better implemented and provides basic "weapon stabilization" option when the vehicle is on the move. • Added hot keys for hull / turret alignments, turret lock, and gun lock on azimuth. • Changing round type loading delay added. • Added military icons for Command Map. • Provided NVG gain. • New compass orientation options. • Signal flare options. • Added tracer effect to armor piercing rounds. Flaming Cliffs 3 (FC3) • New Su-27 campaign. • Added new multiplayer missions.

  7. To get the SA3 to work you need to put together the SA3 Command vehicle, SA3 Radar/sensor vehicle and SA3 Missile platform together in 1 group. Same goes for the others, intermixing doesnt work. NATO has patriots basicly and the Russian states the SA's. The higher the SA rate, the higher the range. SA3 are short range. The SA11's are not too bad. Patriots are like 'one size fits all'. A testmiz is easy to set up. Just create a missile defence group of one or more types and fly an oposite side airplane into them at 12000. 3 waypoints, on all waypoints immortal + 'reaction to thread: nothing' and waypoint 2 needs a return to wp1. Now watch the fun with F2 and F5. Or was it F6, cant remember. Theres radardetection on the first ring, missile lock on the 2nd ring and missile fire on the 3rd.

  10. Just a little bit buddy, i mean well though. It's just a game and all problems will vaporize with 1.2.3. Maybe next week. Lets hope i'm wrong for the hurting ppl that can't get the SP running stable. Now, thats a more positive attitude. Im aware that i can shout and sound very silly now and then, however i get my shit done if you get my drift. Edit: Nooooo, this was not a troll!!

Have fun at Taco Bell ^^ Im not saying there isnt instabilitys, however i do say that a working playable stability is possible. Like in: Hey! Its possible to get your awesome flightsim working on your 'whatever' rig. Wether its the direct download or the torrent download. The effects are the same here. The recent version should be able to work properly even with the current known issues. If its not, then im afraid 1.2.3 wont do you much good either. Its not going to be totaly different software.
  12. It could be many things yes, yet the internetz consists of 1's and 0's. It either works or not. Human 'maybe' does not apply. Im on a 50 Mbit fiber connection that is 3 meters in the ground well shielded from our poluted ether. My ISP also gives me the full bandwith instead of throttling in need so they can sell the same bandwith X times to others. ISP's that also sell mobilephone connections seem to suffer from this. This is currently a common problem worldwide. Ask yourself these questions when youre on a network with and ISP that does all of this and when your connection runs above ground on poles all the way. Its cheaper yes, but it means that the static that wind or the neighbours hairdryer create have an effect in some way. When the server or client creates bandwithspikes youre frelled. Using Intel hardware? Ask yourself why their new aproach will be embedded chips instead of multicompatible seperate chips. Silicon valley's PR will pretty much sell your own mother 3 times to you if they got the chance. What ever is being told, theres always more behind it.
  13. Im afraid that my ZERO kicks on the latest version is still a fact. Wether its my own server, the german STP's, 104th in the US or ENO's firehouse. It doesnt mather. The only disco is the one where i press esc. and logout. My PC's are even starting to be old crap compared to whats on the hardwaremarket at the moment.
  14. I noticed 1 funny thing though.. I see way more people posting than the total people online playing or at least doing something on servers. At the moment multiplay is fairly stable and personaly i have never been kicked due to a bug from a server with the latest official version. So saying the client isn't stable enough doesnt go for me. Why arent these hundreds of people on the servers? Do you actualy own a serial of a module that is being used? Im sure ED will up speedprioritys when all these people would actualy show themselves on servers and enjoying this software. Developers will most defenately get a boost of inspiration when theres more customers actively enjoying what they have created. When i run an open public server for hours than theres always the same active people checking in and out. I keep track of it. I havent seen many of you and alot of servers are empty. Leaving my server online 24/7 is a waste of hardware and electrical power as there isnt many people paying a visit simply because many dont even play the game. So....whats the deal here? Where are you all you people? Will you come online when 1.2.3 comes out or will it be the same forumhopping as you do now? Im not saying and asking this to step on any of your toes, but it has me wondering big time in the credibility of some people wanting 1.2.3 to be a fact asap. Start playing and perhaps your wishes might be granted the way you want to see them granted.

  16. BUT, in order to be able to fly it, you need to have the FC3 module installed and activated.
  17. 1. Speed = life 2. When being fired upon with bullits, change direction and move out of range (fairly easy) 3. When being fired upon with missiles, on lock attempts stay low, when locked missiles are fired, continuesly roll and change direction (scizoring) + climbing + flaring/chaffing. Missiles keep recalculating position of impact, do it long enough and the missile will run out of fuel. A missile has less fuel than u to climb and can only do it for a short period. 4. Use hills and buildings to loose locks If all goes well you might live a little bit longer. The evasiontype depends on the type of the fired weapon. These are just some methods, however i'm sure theres many more with even cool names. I have not much knowledge of that beside what i've seen in documentary's. You Tube has lots of docu's on dogfighting during WWI and WWII, Vietnam and modern combat where airial combat took place. Knowledge of this contains working tacics for DCS.
  18. Both wrong, DCS falls into the catagory 'edu-sim' due to the level of details and the connections with rl army's using this software to train soldiers.

  21. Hi there, I've created a red vs blue mission however only the red bullseye is showing up and not the blue one. Also not for the blue side. In spectatormode only the red bull shows. F10 view is set to coalition only. Is this something known or did i frell something up?
  22. I'm not sure if these systems are finished yet and not manual-worthy to publish. At least, thats the feeling i'm getting with the HUD and waypoints with automatic piloting.

Its how you look at it + we dont have something called like FBI in my part of the world. ^^ The 'fear' emotion runs deeper in society than you think.
