  1. Reading hardware specs that come with software can avoid problems now and then. :helpsmilie:
  2. A C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION is indeed a common message about miscommunication between CPU and RAM by the OS kernel. Its most likely a driver or a corrupt C++. People with this error should post hardware specs to see what they have in common whats causing this. Both my client and server machines run without crashes or weird hickups for me, so its possible to have a stable 1.2.2.
  3. Looks like somebody has been busy with tip-exx...
  4. Have you tried de-installing and re-install DirectX and C++ already as well as windows cleanup in temp folders as well as DCS logs and such? Move your DCS settings folder to another location so DCS will create new settings for the hardware if you havent tried that yet.

  6. Systemspecs seem to be ok. A C0000005 access violation is a standard windows message that hardware (CPU, memory) and OS kernel malfunctioned. This is unrelated to the program causing the violation. This can go from a fault within a hardware product, the OS itself, corrupt data or driver related. usualy it is driver related. Also its wise to walk through the biossettings in relation to your hardware step by step. A certain CPU feature can be malfunctioning through a bug in the biossoftware. Make sure that hardware runs at stock speeds and not overclocked. Some mainboard have boost settings that give the CPU a Mhz boost. A logical step is to uninstall all hardware drivers from the mainboard manufacturer, search what products are integrated in your mainboard, search for drivers from that direct manufacturer and construct your own latest driver package instead of what is offered through the mainboard manufacturer. It is generated by a miscommunication between CPU and memory so take your time for taking the hardware out of your system, give a visual inspection and reinsert it in the system again. Clean it too. Inspect what temperatures are doing idle and full load. Reinstall DirectX and the C++ versions provided and guaranteed by ED. Give windows a good cleanup. - Disk cleanup + deleting shadowcopys - Manual deleting files in <windowsuser>/appdata/local/temp folder - Manual deleting files in c:\windows\temp folder - Manual deleting files in c:\windows\prefetch folder - Manual deleting files in <windowsuser>/saved games/DCS/logs folder - Manual deleting files in <windowsuser>/saved games/DCS/tracks/multiplayer folder - Full 100% defragmentationjob Uninstall antivirus for the hell of it, this is often forgotten as this piece of software that can create weird errors. Good Luck
  7. Masterserverlist-bug is fixed here too. :cheer3nc:
  8. Leave the ingame controls original, make a screenshot of the key-binds for reference and set up the keys in the controler device software. You can Alt-TAB to it. Another advantage is when the settings need to be trashed after an update only the 'chat all'-button , some OSB-buttons and the joystick axis need to be set and youre good to go.
  9. Nice one interceptor! I'll be keeping an eye out for when the time of release comes.
  10. Servman works good here on the critical administrationpart of the server. Im sure stuff will be glitchy when you use the 'main.lua' file provided from the latest download which is from an old 'main.lua' file. It seems to work much better with a bit of personal modification which fits the DCS 1.2.2 jacket, but you might already know that too. :glare: Recommending a witchhunt by sharing bantables is too much negative stuff for me my friend. its also just a game, theres no real damage apart from a busted ego. Im also not so sure if ED likes it very much if customers start to cast other customers publicly out on their media platform. There might even be a 'terms of use' violation somewhere inthere regarding the licence you use from ED. The rabbithole is deeper. Old teddybears are a good solution in this case, id tie him up in the basement and put a gardenhose behind in his zipper.
  11. The christmas surprise month is on its way so maybe you can get a pile of hope from that. In the mean time......Wham?
  12. On which OS is the server running? And is it 32 or 64 bit?
  13. Esc. menu -> press 'pool' -> highlight player -> press 'KICK' When Servman 3 is installed on your server, you can use "/kick [playername]" or "/bankick [playername]" in the chatline as a command.
  14. This issue has been resolved with DCS version 1.2.2 A feature regarding reconnecting to the masterserver on connectionloss didnt seem to function as intented. Mr. c0ff is honored for this fix. More on this subject can be found here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=95443 Thx
  15. Well, ..... wow ..... The fix that c0ff made regarding disconecting from the masterlist seems to work flawlessly for me. The migration of the Servman 3 functioncode into the DCS 1.2.2 main.lua file works without hickups sofar. GOOD F-IN JOB c0ff!!! My saviour. Was waiting for this fix since purchase for about 1.5 year.
  16. Youre right, its pointless anyway perhaps. Have you ever been in the situation with your girlfriend or wife where she tells you that she loves you and somehow demands an 'i love you too' back? I guess its something similar for some. "I love you, i love you, i love you, i love you, i love you, i love you, i love you, i love you............HEY!!...now you need to say that you love me too!!" :megalol:
  17. Perhaps. Although, from the moment humanity traded with stones the business concept 'customer retention' became important. Keeping a customer in the dark or not can play an important role in success of the relationship. The reason may vary and you might never know. :worthy:
  18. Im about to check it too soon, ill let you know how things went. First a test without modified files for servman. When this is stable the mods will be prepared for the latest files and see how that goes.
  19. Do servers now stay listed on the masterserverlist which had pre-update this bug to endure?
  20. Is it possible to use a packetsniffer like wireshark to see if the new settings are more suited for the connection that might give a higher stability in packetflow than one of the standard presets? Or some other program that could create graphics of the packetflow during a certain timeperiod.
  21. :worthy: Its hope and worship what keeps us alive!!!!
  22. So...... The end of 2012 is nearing... (Drrrrrrrummrolllllll)
  23. At least its an option to get the best out of a connection when hosting a server. If the setting works ofcourse.
  24. Confirmed i was trolling the troll-vid. Ofcourse i understand the seriousness of the subject when its not a localised troll-bug. Till now it looks a bit like a whistleblow on tube, thats why i couldnt resist to troll around a bit.
