  1. Thx Wags, hosting some of the old, but tweaked versions of the MP missions proved to be alot fun on my server yesterday. Nowlets see what the public thinks of the new ones. :thumbup:

  4. Alot of visitors seem to react kind of childish, it blows up the whole game when youre trying to have some tactics. Cant blame the owners for closing them.

  7. Ive been playing games with tanks since Tank Duel on the commodore 64. Resently also World of tanks. I must say this is totaly different and i like it alot. Shifting gears etc. One thing had me boggeled though. I created a convoy of several Humvee's and a Bradly in front which i was ofcourse driving. Its ok that vehicle might bump into you, but being bumped serveral meters asside in a Bradly by a much lighter Hummer with not enough momentum to achieve such a push. That was kind of flippermachinestuff. But its a pre-release, im sure its on the list of reality check.
  8. Im not sure, but isnt it possible to take a screenshot of the settings? If not try the 'snipping tool' under 'assesoires' when using Win 7. You might be able to take a screeny of the settings that way in at least windowed mode perhaps.
  9. The quick reference is the keysettings itself in the options menu in the game. CA doesnt use alot of keys. With a keypad like a Nostrome or an extra profile settings layer on the joystick its not much extra.

  11. Did you use the multiplayerlink in the single player or the direct multiplayershortcut from your installation? I seem to have more stability with the direct shortcut insteadof through the singleplayer client.
  12. I only get huge log files of Gb size when hosting a mission. Still for just a log file its still kindof large. Does the beta have somesort of extra log settings for debugging reasons in place?
  13. Thx Sleem. This is the same place i got it from. I've been trying all of the versions without result. I've tried numerous thngs like disabling the firewall, a fresh Win 7 installment without anything else installed regarding drivers or anything else. Also different settings within Servman in the serverconfig. Accessrights within the OS. Nothing seemedto help. Is there perhaps another file that needs adjustment within Servman? Is the supplied config file the right one, because it has another versionnumber on top than 3.x
  14. Ive noticed this too. I havent looked into it further, because it isn't a huge problem on my end. I've noticed this with already available missions, however when i create a mission localy with traffic off there is no traffic. DCS World 1121.
  15. You sir, are correct. Im all about BS. :D However, remember the context of the question and how you describe it, is axactly how i see and mean it. I didn't mean to put a finger on something the way i said it. When i first played DCS i had the same idea about the bulleye as the top poster has. I undersand this man perfectly.

  17. For which DCS version is the mission originaly intended acording to your info there and what DCS are you running?

  19. What Servman version are the 'Going Ugly' and other STP servers running for DCS World btw? For the most part it seems to work overhere exept for the MOTD. Is this known?
  20. What is meant is not THE bullseye, but A bulleye. The bullseye on the mission is mainly to indicate which side is blue and which red aprox. In most cases it doesnt have more function than that.
  21. I have such a stick somewhere in the closet. The reason mine is in the closet is because sensitivity and accuracy is way off. A minimum of a 10% deadzone is too much innit. As said before in a previous post, for low budget you might be best off with a X52 or a X52 pro. TrackIr will make your life alot easier as well as a realism kick in the ....

  23. Tip: Use moar real tactics (terrainmasking, below radar, no unneeded laser beemin, some weaponsystems can be detected when 'online'. etc etc
  24. Im not sure if that joystick will do. Sensorsensivity quality plays a big role in DCS. Im using a Saitek X52. It has 3 banks with shifts. Multiple rotarys and buttons. Every button has 6 functions at some point. I chose this stick, because of its finesse for still a reasonable amount of duku. The Hotas is kind of very cool, but....uhm expensive. Youll need something like this with DCS. TrackIr is welcome hardware too.
  25. Indeed more online users are needed for full head-on battlemaps, but to atract these extra gaming dwellers you might need to be more mainstream or even above/side-ways mainstream. Take in account that for 30 bucks you can actualy find games that do give you all these controlable entity options. This doesnt mean ill have to run away to those 'communitys', however it does tell me that other developers are capable of putting it all on the table within a reasonable amount of time. Im ok with the fact to have patience. My middle name is patience to be upmost honest. But i have a human timespan. Do you think you can pull it off within 50 years? :megalol:
