I believe "state" is the pilots speaking state of fuel, However when checking in with Mother a flight lead will report the lowest fuel state of his flight, ie his wingman. So his fuel state might be 5.8 but the jet in his flight with the least fuel is 5.4, so hewould report"Hornet 4 Low state 5.4."

LOL learn how to fly :-). This is not a yank and bank AC. You need to study its flight characteristics and practice to master them.

I should say that I received my VR unit a couple of weeks and it is fantastic, a really really nice piece of Kit.

I am all for OB and DCS/ED, however I think calling something that is only 10-20% functional, as "released", is bordering on misinformation.

[ALREADY REPORTED]Text at the top of the screen Hi all not sure what I did wrong however I now have some text at the top of the screen in 3d Main: Static 1 See screenshot attached. So far I have remove the mod i had ( LAT long coordinate) and run a repair. I am on the latest beta (updated today). Doesn't matter what plane or if i have FPS turned on or not. Also does not matter the mission or theatre. Any ideas? Cheers Sting

Hi all I am reasonably new to DCS and have a quick question regarding the campaign and DCS. With this campaign I get a mission success on the first mission and then for a number of reason (user error) failed the second mission. Each time I fail the second mission I have to start the whole campaign again, ie fly the first mission again. Is that how it is meant to function or should i only have to refly the failed mission again? Cheers Mike

In the other sim that can't be named here, the only thing i found the AG radar useful for was helping pickup up ground movers. Now if you did not have a TGP onboard, I'd image the AG radar would be very useful. Its been a long time since I have flown without a TGP though...

I don't think the lack of indication on the HUD would be a problem, When ED adds Markpoints to the HSI system it will be easy to simply mark the target of opportunity and then salve the tpg to the mark point. Waypoint designate the mark point and that will give you steering. Thanks to ED for keeping it realistic!!. Sting

How are you goings getting around the greyish haze in VR at night? That has actually stopped me from conducting night missions in VR.
