question to the VSN F16 mod: is the new 3d model still appearing in the 1.5.5 Version ? I get the VSN F16 Versions all flyable ,but it appears with vanilla DCS low res.. F16 model

+1 One of the biggest Imersion gainer for me is the realistic Sound ! I hope the Viggen gets her authentic Thunder Sound in game :joystick:

Great post Zimmerdylan, I feel also adressed beeing as one of the "most of us". I remember my first moments in the Quick Mission of Lock on , where you fight in an Mig 29 against a Mirage 2000...all with the initial old low poly 3d models and I was like " Jesus ! , this is it ! This is the ultimate Jet Flighter Flight Sim !" And my Feeling hasnt changed since... I enjoyed travelling from LOMAC to Flamings Cliffs 1, 2, 3 ; all the way to DCSW and some plane modules...and now I am excited for the 2.5 merge... Big thanks to ED, the Sim developed to an unbelievable extend. Sometimes Im sitting on an airfield ramp on multipayer an just enjoy all the nice planes starting up and passing by.. it is just amazing.. Keep on the great Work... it really turned out to bring us the One and Only Hardcore Flight Sim for Military Machinery.

hello , I did latest DCS update and reinstalled Starway mod, for perfomance reasons, I only installed starways terrain mod up to Version 1.1, but no more grass is appearing... what could be the reason ? I checked the settings in the GUI, grass is at medium distance, so its definately ON, but not showing...

wait ... is the Su30 MKI back in action for DCS 1.5 / 2.0 ??!!! hopefully yesss !

+1 for the Su30 back again... I loved that aircraft in older versions... great job Combatace ! now with the nice terrain , Su30 Wohooo ... fingers crossed for a release back again in DCS 1.5 XX / 2.0 / 2.5

Folks, the title says it all; as it's of course obvious , that the twin engine F5-E is best controlled with a dual throttle joystick or separate thrustpad: Is there a way to also operate it with a single thrust lever ? My Joystick (Saitek Cyborg V1) is pretty simple , with just one thrust lever.... I understand that the engines have to be spooled up separately; ... so is there a setting possible to manage the engine spoole up with keyboard and then swith to master control ( both engines) with the thrust lever of my Joystick ??? :joystick:

Dear Mirknir, as the your server is a full success, it is highly crowded .. and 25/25 player status is soon reached... As Im often late to the party, you think there is a possibilty to increase player number on your server ? maybe 35 players slots? thank you for allowing the F5E and Gazelle L version !!

F16C Block 40 pleasssseee !! what else could be better capable of going along with the ED F18C ? Naval operations: F18C Ground operations: F16C Joint strike operations: F18C/F16C ED is delievering the appropriate maps soon.. so the F16C would be the IDEAL Supplement to come along with the F18C...

looking great, is it somehow possible to get through the integrity check on MP servers with this mod installed ? had to remove it for that reason... tooo bad I love the flyable F18 and the carrier

great Server Mirknir ! love the seetings with enemy map icons off, but own units still available in external view. Thats how every server should be set up sry if I missed it yesterday, but if I've seen it correctly there is still no possibilty to choose the Gazelle L version. Pls put it on the server as well...

OK , then simply question: why is there such a mystery about DCS and F16 content ? ( full model or at least new 3d model) A simply line by ED saying like " We are planing it, / Its not planned so far / its not possible atm due to licensing issue / only new 3d model etc. etc. " would save dozens of thread pages of speculation ! I mean the Moderator support and the feedback by Wags on specific topics here is awesome and always professional, why all this myth about F16 ? :unsure:

To sum this thread up, the F16 - whatever version -as long its a combat ready version- would be highly welcomed by the DCS crowd and would fit perfectly in every future terrain development we can think of.. Hoping for Wags and Team to read these lines and for the circumstances/licenses developing in a way to make the F16 finally reality in DCS.

So were are getting Strait of Hormuz Map / Middle East terrain in the future right ? Man, the F16 would perfectly fit in to this scenario !!! , together with F18... The F16 (A, C, block 50) is just simply much too awesome for not getting any attention by ED sooner or later... Its like writing a book about pop stars and not mentioning Michael Jackson in a single line ;-)

there are for sure some reasons why ED didnt release the F16 so far, its sad, but they have their reasons and we have to accept it Im afraid. But what seems not reasonable at all is the fact , that they didnt even touch the ext. 3d model so far ?? !!! Come on , I mean were' talking about the F16 here !! requested by many of us, no response at all... that said, I think there even have been some pictures around in thread from a new F16 model, even with official DCS / or ED logos in the background ( 2 to 3 years ago ? ) .... some of you might remember..

pls can someone once again explain how to get rid of the Integrity check with Starway terrain running ? I have starway original plus update 1.1 installed.. fails on MP !! Such stupid things ruin DCS imo... I understand its against cheating and thats good, but how on earth can integrity check prevent us from using terrain mods where ED initially planned to officially announce/ release it ? pls someone send me the orignal shadows.lua and tell me how to insert into the game dir to pass integrity check...very annoying issue...
