It depend from where. Started in 1860tys in Japan with the Meiji Era. :P so, after 9 pages of guesses, what are the main suspects ?

Well.... Multicrew HAS to be implemented with that one. My wife always said DCS is too complicated compared to Rise Of Flight. Well, I'll take the backseat and have her flying. Ahem... After reading this message again.... it may be NSFW for some trouble minded people. :D

Yeah that great (except the bug). 1073 bug is related to DCS-BIOS. It can't find the DCS-BIOS installation. It can be either from a bad installation of DCS-BIOS, or the configuration not pointing toward the correct save folder. First thing to check is FlightPanels configuration. If you are running DCS Open Beta, it needs a little modification. Start a fresh A10 or Huey profile. If any error message, just don't pay attention. you should get a "DCS BIOS Setting" menu. there, they should be an entry for DCS-BIOS JSON folder. If you DCS is an OPEN BETA, you need to correct that. Add ".openbeta" right after "DCS" Should be something like : "C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts\DCS-BIOS\doc\json" The second issue is DCS-BIOS installation. Check in the manual that you have installed it correctly. It is described in the installation chapter. Look at the screen below, your DCS savegame folder should look like this. Let me know if this solve the problem. -

Yup, I suggest you go thru the document. I tried to make it not boring and not too technical. Don't hesitate with feedback. This "script" folder may not exist. It will exist if you already installed some other 3rd party software such SIOC (used by cockpit builders), Aries (radio software), TARS (radio software), Helios (used by cockpit builders too)..... If you have a regular DCS, it may simply not exist. No worry, DCS-BIOS will add it for you. Just unzip the total DCS-BIOS zip/rar file in your "....Savegame/DCS/" folder. -
So Far, lots of people are flying with ECM on. As far as I go for classification - (su27) If i work with radar, I use his IFF to PID a target. If a jammed contact is going toward the ennemi airfield, I assume it is either a friendly or a retreating ennemi, so i don't engage. If a radiating jammed contact is going toward my airspace, I send the contact position on teamchat and request for identification on teamchat. If no answer, I shot. If a non-radiating jammed contact is going toward my airspace, I can't really ask for ID so I try to VID before shooting. If i'm on a EOS offensive, SA is usually enough for a classification, yet I don't shoot until i get VID. Usually, a plane with racks full and AB'ing toward my base is rarely an allied :D When i get locked by unknown, i say locked on chat. If no answer I pre-emptively return fire. Those rules keeps me alive, and I have rarely teamkills. When those happen, I really don't fell guilty at all, yet I apologize politely and try to figure out how me and target can avoid that next time. But most of my teamkills happen on mig-21bis, which IFF doesn't work 100% of the time, on on AI flights which aren't answering my calls. The 104th is fun but i prefer RED vs BLUE planes, not mixup of F15s everywhere. Usually, F15's fly blue and sukkhoi fly red so i don't mind but sometime i go fly somewhere else if it's too mixed.

I use UP MKR DOWN Aligned vertically, as the glide slope indicator in the A10. That's just awesome. -

I used some similar method in an another project, which required backlighting. To solve the problem of opacity, the simple method is to print twice the stickers, then apply one over each other. I used UPS labels (it's roughly the size of a photo). To perfectly align them, i had lines drawn along the stickers, where they where no labels to cut. -

Create a profile, do one light, save. open it in text editor. get the panel ID. Open PdMarsh's profile with a text editor, replace his panel ID by your panel ID (ctrl-H for automated replacement). It should get the job done :) @Jabo - I'm reporting your idea about frequency swap to our super-expert-coder :P That should be not hard to implement. -
That would be great from ED to integrate it to the official build. I wish you good luck. Those birds are awesome.

Are you running DCS normal, steam, or openbeta ? If the latter, you may need to change DCS-BIOS folder setting in Flightpanels program. -

Hi Baldawg, We got a document in preparation, should be done somewhere tonight or tommorow morning. For your problem, i would sugest to check if the same drivers are installed for the two panels. I don't have the exact english name in mind (french computer) but it's something like standard HID drivers. Maybe Pdmarsh or Artur can follow up with the exact generic driver name. -
I don't mind taking off the F-14 from the K :D

if they is scenario with specific time frame ? (ok, that's still a dream since all servers are FreeForAll)
