Well, yes... I realised that between test and post :music_whistling: Just discovered later that ammo used in DCS Hornet is just 20_HE :doh:

I know, but is just to remark that only AP round is damaging tanks, maybe we can get API round for the hornet. Also I revert to the book about Desert Storm.

Checked 0% damage with hornet gun. But A-10C do X% damage... between 15 to 30 AP rounds hits, the tank start burning. HE ammo do 0% damage. (It seems correct to me)

My conclusion is just actually the Hornet shoots HE ammo, and that kind of ammo do 0% damage to heavy armor. Maybe we should get some API rounds (M53) to select via editor.

I´m talking about not so modern tanks (T-55) and shooting them through it´s upper area (less armor). It's difficult for another tank to angle a shoot like an airplane. ;)

Tonks too strongs! :lol: Hi there, I was expecting a little bit more punch from that 20mm. I tested against T-55 and even I unloaded a good burst over the first tank, no hits registered for 0% damage (of course). Then I checked with the A-10C and the only hits registered was from AP ammo. So, I figured out that only the hits that damage the tank are the only ones registered in the debriefing window. (also checked health bars on map). And I read that the gun was extensive employed in Desert Storm by the Marines against tanks with a great success. (I leave here a page from the book "Hornets over Kuwait") Regards

Maybe is something related to multiplayer code, lag or similar. I´m always going down on the first missile that hit me. And when its supossed that ED is going to implement the dedicated server?

I´m a PvE player most of the time in battles that needs team coordination between modules. And that no sense to balance MP by nerfing a weapon or a airframe is not the way to go, you are going to nerf also the PvE part of the "game". If you want balance in PvP, get a better mission desing, or avoid X´s servers, is as easy as this. -
Lol! Then there is something wrong in my 2.2 the plane behaves like a brik, loses more energy in turns and it needs more time to build it again. I'm going to try to re-install the module. Thanks.

Hi all, I´ve been away a few months and lost the track. This thread seems to not be updated for a long time ago: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2618507&postcount=1 At this moment I have 1.5.8.12823 normal release and 2.2.0.12843 alpha. The FM of M2000 behaves very different between version. In wich version is the last FM updated?

Great eyeballs you have sir! I´m able to pick an airliner around 30 nm. and is just a dot in the sky. But all of this depends on the light and atmosphere, sometimes we have the airliner dancing around 10 nm. and it´s a pain to make visual contact. The problem with DCS was when we got the "model enlarge visibility" most of us (also it depends on hardware used) we were able to spot a dot in the sky before we could track it via the radar, so online the use of the radar was pointless.

Is there any indication of where is the TGP pointing relative to the plane? Like the Situational awareness cue and the north arrow on the TGP.

Yes, that´s wrong and/or WIP on the AV-8. The cross is essential to aim correctly the Maverick through the keyhole: At least this is simulated in A-10C. (And the comparisons are inevitable between modules) I hope they give some love to avionics.

Yes! I was getting mad about this. I see I´m not the only one with this problem. I find a workaround to solve this: Open this file (C:\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Flaming Cliffs\Input\su-27\keyboard\default.lua) with notepad++ copy this line (or copy from here directly): {combos = {{key = 'Y'}}, down = iCommandPlane_HOTAS_LeftThrottleButton, up = iCommandPlane_HOTAS_LeftThrottleButton_Off, name = _('Stick Limiter Override'), category = _('Flight Control')}, And put into: C:\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Flaming Cliffs\Input\su-27\joystick\default.lua) Below the last line of flight controls. Then you can bind this control to any device. Happy flight! Edit: In the real jet IIRC the pilot go through that limiter by brute force on stick, not pulling the wheel brake handle... we have this button because it´s difficult to simulate in our home sticks.

No, each airplane has his own setup file, you can have problems with one airplane and all others be fine, check input axis under controls tab. -
F-5 AI is broken at this moment, He can climb and accelerate passing mach 1.0 at same time... Fortunatly the client FM can´t do this.

Actually F-5 AI is flying in UFO mode, he can climb and accelerate to mach 1 and turn behind your F-15 without any problem, of course human player cant do that. I reported that just last month with a few ACMI´s https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=178885 So, do not despair if you feel that you should win that match more easily.
