  1. What I understand in your post... is that someone has said that is not possible and you trust that even the real manual says other thing. What a joke.... And I´m going to tell you another joke, look: How its posible that the Flanker can go up to 71800 fts (around 24 km) with full cargo of missiles? Also I have another screen at 75000 fts... and the GW. of Su27 are 65197 lbs facing the 58998 lbs of the F15 (data from mission editor) It´s impossible!!!!! :D And I don´t care any real flight manual that you can bring. ;) even my daugther says: aba! ba! ba! = that´s not possible!
  2. OH! I was entering in the forum to post something similar, I ask here to not open a new thread. Last time I got a BVR fight was before 1.2.16 v. and I don´t remenber to face an AI so deadly like now. (Sure I´m out of practice) Setup: F15 with aim-7/9 Vs AI Su-27 R-27ER/ET (1vs1) In 10 round I ended eating his ET 10 times, I ate it from head to head, side by side, from below and of course in to my butt. Also seems very flare resistant. And the AI as become very efficient avoiding the Aim-7. Any advice? Should I ban Aim-7 from my weaponry and stick to 120?
  3. Check your setting and axis of your joy in the options tab. I find F-15C very stable.
  4. I´m not saying the contrary. I know that slats reduce the Vs. Maybe I put the sentence up side down I try again: "The slats like how they are configured in the 109, placed near the wingtip avoid that premature stall that start in the wingtip of the wing, and yes you got all the benefit of a wing with slats but then if you reach the new Vs that wing is going to stall from the wingtip to the root near at the same time thus entering in a more "violent" stall" Also again don´t compare apples to oranges, the wing of a Mig-3 seems very different from a Bf-109 wing
  5. Oh, we are used to wait all clients to be in the cockpit before unpause. thanks for the tip.
  6. Last night we tried to fly 10 vPilots and we found that someone of us were unable to see some planes. All clients in my row (see picture) were unable to see the Host plane and 2 clients, they were complety invisible, the host just missed one client... but other clients can see that one. In the case of the first plane of the top row (the one with grey skin), He was able to see my 3 invisible planes, but he was unable to see the 2 of his right side (unfortunatly his 2 wingmans) Very strange de-sync, and what surprise me more is to not find any kind of report about that. No one is experiencing the same? There is any other archive that I can attach to make this report better?

  8. I think that you are comparing apples and oranges. And the stall is more violent in a wing with slats... you know, the whole wing stall at nearly the same time in the 109 config. Will be better if you can do the same test with a 109 with slats and a 109 without slats.

The only reliable tactic with this idea is in 2vs1. 4vs2 also has the same flaws as for 4vs more, just one radar locking at time, you leave the other bandit free to kill any launching platform or at least gaining a better shooting position. And in the worst case, you miss the shoot and the combat evolve to a close arena... then you are forced to use other missile type if you want to shoot at both at same time using your superior numbers. If you have superior numbers I prefer other tactics for sure.
  10. Noticed that F/A-18C has missed the skins for Canada and Spain, also you can´t select any skin in editor menu for that 2 countrys.

  15. Just read about "Ethiopian Eritrean War, 1998 - 2000" were they fought Mig-29 and Su-27, in conclusions about air war we arrive to this: So, this seems very close to we have now in DCS... maybe people should start seending complaints to the Kremlin :lol:
  16. regarding to this: I think there are many people that fails to recognize the flame out engine that appears sometimes in that situation. If the engines stops, then it´s impossible to get out of the inverted spin. I advise to add to the "checklist" -Check engine´s and restart if needed.

  20. Ok, can you tell me just with that video how many AOAº is pulling? 20º? 25º? 30º? 80º?
  21. You haven´t understood me. The alpha is the angle between the relative wind and the horizontal plane of the aircraft, and it´s very difficult to judge from outside how many degrees of AOA it´s pulling in that high G´s manevours. It´s more easy to judge from the video of blue angels with smoke trailing on. You know what I mean? I´m not saying that tomcat is unable to pull high AOA, just that video means nothing in this aspect.

  24. +1 I hope for when they finish the 2.0 release then they can look at this and bring us a FLIR system similar to the Arma 3, I know it's not perfect but at least more useful.
