Any new updates since 4-25?

I'd like to know that too Maximus. I know I'm very due for a new system build but I was atleast ok to play some of the DCS titles in single player. Having a lot of trouble when more players enter the multiplayer servers(P51) or if I play the A10C campaigns when I get close to SAM sites.

One of the DoW guys helped me some after ruining my day for about an hour. Try using one click of flaps (10%?) which helps quite a bit with making tighter, smoother turns. They really need to put on a fighter clinic to help some of us catch up with the tricks/tactics so the community will grow. I've been out of WWII flight sims for probably 10 years now and its taking some time to catch up.

I'm more referring to the stall characteristics that they repeatedly compared to with the P51. All these planes should offer some different advantages/disadvantages and require different tactics to employ them effectively but a lot of people(myself included) had trouble with the stall characteristics in the beginning with the P51.

Great post. Most of the comments were about the E/G models but the 109 definitely sounds like it will be more beginner friendly than the Mustang.

I'm having the same 1.77777 aspect thing and choppy play since 1.28. I didn't change any settings from 1.27 and rolled back the new ATI drivers to 13.9 which didn't seem to help a lot.

Is FW190 going to be released as a finished product with future tweaks or in beta form?

Personally to practice some targeting I'd use the Mission Editor and set a FW190 on the lowest skill on the same path with me positioned behind it with a slight height and speed advantage. They don't seem to react until you get really close (less than 200m) so you get plenty of practice.

Did you guys take down the Dogs of war server? I've starting coming on there a couple of times the past week but its disappeared tonight?

Does this mean we'll be getting the Beta in June/July if they are this close?

I should of stated DM instead of FM because yes its very possible to get the FW190 in your sights but very different thing to bring it down. It took me 187 bullets to get one to land yesterday and a total of 304 before he was destroyed. :doh: I watched your video which was great and I'll PM you soon so we can fly.

Hoped on an empty WWII server the other day for the first time. I started out as the only person on it but after a while there was about 5 of us messing around on it. The current flight model for the FW190 is a big deterrent (feel like I'm shooting a Tiger tank sometimes) but should be resolved whenever the Dora arrives. I think once we finally get the Dora the online and DCS community will grow. FW190vsP51 tournaments in single or squad combat should be a blast. A big problem to me with having the P51 is it doesn't really belong in the timeframe DCS has it in. When DCS WWII comes out that should be a great starting point with them hopefully adding more locations(Germany/Italy/Africa/Eastern Front) and time period vehicles(tanks/AA/trains).

I really need to get online with others to learn how to dogfight this thing properly. Playing AI p51 or FW190s just isn't doing it. Love to sign up and be cannon fodder for someone but my wife has a interview out of town so we're going to check the area.

Next time there is a great sale on steam you can now get P-51 and A10C which are terrific also.

If I understand the question correctly the first thing you need to do is download BS2 from the DCS website. Then after you've installed it and launch the game it will ask for the key if I remember correctly.

Since I fly with P51 with my Thrustmaster Warthog which many here probably have also one of the hats(bottom right) is dedicated to the gyro range(Up/down) and width of the wing (right/left). One question I have for those that use it. The manual states it takes the reticle about one second for it to be correct so I take it this means you can't be jerking it around and expect good results?

Love to have a pacific campaign but I don't see it happening. We should be very happy if we ever get a entire map of Europe/Med/Western Russian. Personally I'd like to see us get a map of the Korean peninsula for both the 50's era and modern planes which would allow carrier borne craft.

Looks like most of it was shot at Yellowstone/Tetons and Devils Towers. Wonderful places to go and great work by the photographer.

Some guys are so lucky. I was just happy to get mine to sit down for a few minutes to fly around the P-51. Great work and tell her to keep it up.

I agree with the OP that it would be great customer service just to eliminate the old BS1/BS2 upgrades and replace it with just the BS2 version. You've purchased the game twice already and making it simpler for the user would be greatly appreciated especially when I reload my system or build a new one. To be honest all they would have to do is change the BS2 upgrades already purchased to full versions and end the sale of future BS2 upgrade sales but I doubt they have time to really mess with it.

I'd love to show my dad a full version of a F-15 module on DCS. He's pretty much worked entirely on the F-15 systems since they went into service in the 70s. Full version F-15, F-16, Apache, or modern Russian planes definitely top my list.

They don't have heat in Russia? I imagine the office would stay warmer if they have a lot of computers going anyway but man get you a little heater or something. Can't wait for the alpha/beta on some of these planes.

Until we see a BF110 or another night fighter variant I don't think the Lancasters will be flying in the sky over Germany (plus the map need to be made).

You'd probably have people abuse this system and start multi accounts.
