Warthog arrives in the mail today, I whip it out of the box and start fiddling with all the buttons and switches, admiring how solidly constructed everything feels. Then I decide to try out my Cougar handle on the Warthog base to see whether I prefer it to my Cougar base with Uber II Nxt gimbals. As I'm tightening the Cougar handle onto the base with the grey ring I hear a crack and discover that I've managed to give my stick a twist-for-rudder feature (there is now about 30 degrees of play in the "yaw" axis). I didn't use a huge amount of force to tighten the stick, only as much as I used to loosen it in the first place so I'm thinking that something plastic inside became brittle in the cold during shipping. Here's hoping TM covers it!
