when I was in the USAFE and worked with the Harriers, and they TDY with them to Europe, they would have no issues landing taking lots of fuel and taking off. They had power to spare with weapons and could play and have fun while doing so without a worry. It seems that the harriers we have struggle with weapons or hardly a load. Now, I am definitely no expert, plus these are not the same model, but I worked with and witnessed many times them flying in a and out and I serviced them often, this was just a few months before Falklands. I have a suspicion that we are not getting the full power the real harriers had. IMHO

tried updating my signature, it complained too many lines, then it didn't like the photo size, than too many lines, I finally had to wipe my signature all clean to be able to save it, and start over. it is very flaky This is the user signature option for the 5 lines.

Now I can say the forum graphics look nice now, for a while I was wondering what happened.... I don't know about performance yet.... too new Kudos to the powers that be... also, I have not looked at the forum options, in the last couple of days for the user... so as time goes on we shall see ..

I need bigger text, I changed the Theme/Style on mine to denim (better than default IMO), but the tiny* text is very hard on my old eyes... I use Desktop. I understand about when forums need updated. Hopefully, in time with the powers that be, it will all be set right.

ok, so, this was another change things to make them like in real life, and since it wasn't my main ride I wasn't paying attention... and now I am correcting this.... I just wish it were in the lua file, and not going into add things manually... I flew and I did get it working.... the radar search and lock , TDC, with your help. Thank you. I wanted to make the Syria map an older cold war map with the Mig-21 and Mirage. That is when I found out everything had changed.

ok,,, with span control,, not sure about which to use with the mini stick on the warthog for the tdc. I used to use the vertical and horizontal for the tdc panning and then lock. Now, we are suppose to not use the vertical and horizontal any longer and use the vertical for the tdc range and span control? Why? why didn't it stay the way it was, and why still have those? This all makes no sense.... If I do try to use the vertical and horizontal, it not longer controls tdc, the whole screen just moves fast and wild. it was working fine up until some patch in recent months.

none of that helped, but hen again I am not a coder.... I uninstalled and reinstalled the module... no help

I am not sure how long it has been missing in my install. but there is no TDC slew in my control panel. Like the code disappeared, and I know it was there the last time I flew this Mig-21Bis. How do I fix it? very strange. I have owned this module for many years, never hadthis issue before. I cannot slew my radar around until it is fixed. Thanx :helpsmilie:

there are simplified backup instruments (compasses is one example) on aircraft, you would think the pilot would check both...

weapon fire key was missing from controls. I had to put the control back in so I could fire the weapons. Not sure how many weeks ago it happened because I had not flown it in maybe a month or two. FYI

It is all good now! Downloaded, installed and working! :)

DCS OB not updating says up to date ---- tried both DCS and the DCS update utility by SkateZilla

the Abris map colors are totally washed out, and I didn't see all the issues gathering up recently with the beloved Ka-50. yes they are working on the BS3, but I had no idea so many problems with the BS2 have gathered... I just replaced my GTX 1060 video card with a 2080-ti and was shocked to see the problems with the ka-50 graphics in the cockpit instruments. I hope when they finally release the new one soon, and al is back the way it is suppose to be... I cannot even see stuff on the Abris, the green is virtually missing... and yes, the shkval wanders all over. Maybe we were al to busy to see other modules gathering problems... And maybe the patches will slow down while they work on all these issues. I see they said they will concentrate on fixing bugs instead of putting out our Open Betas so often. Fine, whatever it takes, they can take a few months, it will be worth it. IMHO

I will try the mod sounds, wish the developer would have just swapped the two.... inside, it is insanely loud turbine engine, outside sounds are not very noticeable with door closed and the engine and ear muff /comms on your head. Of course if you have guns going and or doors open then you have all kinds of crazy sounds.

First of all, what I am saying about sounds is from real life experience as a passenger from Hueys in the 1970's and 1980's when I was in the USAF. Inside you mostly heard the turbine sounds, not rotor slap. In the sim I hear the reverse. I don't know if anyone else has asked about this being changed. I have not tried to change this in the sim with the adjustments, even if it is possible with adjustments only in the sim. Anyone else? :joystick:

Used to load and fly the A10-C without this issue. I would do an auto start, and the DSMS would have all the weapons listed in the loadout. No problems for many years. Now, in the las year of so. I have to go into DSMS and load the weapons list manually into the mfd. What happened? So, in the past, autostart, load weapons fuel. wait for alignment, and everything was good to go. No the left MFD with the DSMS doesn't have the weapons and have to go in and load with the proper button and keys to get them to show up after everything was readied and the alignment finished. I don't understand what changed, why, and is there way way to make this work the way it used to? Thanx :helpsmilie:
