well, I see that I am not the only one, apparently it is not working for anyone??? I was excited, and then nothing,, so sad... keep up the work.. so many of us believe this can be great! keep in mind, I just put a clean fresh brand new install of Win 8.1 on a reformatted Sata drive, and put this new version of Aries, when it crapped out... I thought it was going to be perfect... but would not work at all. the new version that was just released.. TeamSpeak works great as usual.

the Ctrl+Enter seems to work... (btw, when saying ctrl, or shift, etc, please state right, left, or both.. thanx). Also, how to you enable pitch, stabilizer, control etc.. guess I have to read all that again..

The stick has the features to print the switches programmed, AND THERE is also a separate PROGRAM TO DO THAT TOO,,,, but I was wondering if anyone else had a better profile... etc..

Mi-8 and Saitek X52 pro setup, profile. I have been trying to perfect mine, but so many features, very small memory of my brain to remember settings,, so many switches.. so many problems getting everything to work properly. I have lots of problems getting weapons to work and switch different weapons on/off. I have a profile I can share, anyone else maybe have a better one to share? sitting in the cockpit and flying, the cockpit bobs up and down like a fishing bobber on water :doh::huh: ... anyone know why and how to stop it,, impossible to line up on a target or see straight with it bobbing up and down.. thanx

well, I was away for a while, as my computer video died, and when it was working, I was using the English mod for the cockpit. I wasn't getting some weapons to work with the English cockpit, so I had just went back to the Russian cockpit when the computer messed up.. now I am back to Trying to figure out the cockpit in Russian, learning the Mi-8 weapons. I am afraid to try the Russian to English cockpit mod again. Not sure if it working properly. But sure was nice reading it in English! I just added the mod again, was reading the thread showing the latest files and how to insert the Mod folder.. thanx!

I fixed the problem I had removed an original zip for the mod and put it back... lock story short, I tried to change the Russian cockpit in a helo, MI-8, and in the process some things were messed up, so when I put it back to Russian, I messed up by not putting the zip back in a texture, so the cache was ok.. my bad... a cockpit in Russian is too much for my brain... :( btw, Devrim your Mi-8 mod is probably good, I probably messed up something... I had problems with weapons... I was wondering if the LUA files have to be updated with new patches..

I tried a mod, wasn't happy... now after I delete the mod the cache will not let the original files take... how to clear the cache, or run verify (not steam version of dcs) ? Thanx

so, if I keep the English mod for the cockpit, the weapons hints should still work? or do I have to remove English and go back to Russian cockpit? I have a feeling the English cockpit needs updated the LUA must not have the latest changes for the Mi-8 ?

Thank you for the giveaway! I know there are some that can use modules more than others, I am also the recipient of aircraft from generous pilots , and am grateful for those!

A few years ago we built a 13 mission DCS campaign with logic. But, since then, the logic and code, and added aircraft have change drastically, so it highly probable we will have to start from scratch again, as it looks like there have been so many changes we cannot update the old campaign missions. Very early stages of discussions. :joystick:

I don't understand, I re-installed Aries, and there is no 'Horizon' anywhere, so I can't shut off what I can't find. What am I missing? btw, I really wanted to wait for the next version, but thought I would go for try #4. But, this fix thing of turning off Horizon feature had me interested, but sad, again, I just don't see what you guys said to do.

just make a macro... been using Saitek for many years, you just need to know how to use the profiler

THEY LEFT US WITH 2 CHOICES, CONTINUE THE BS1 PLUS UGRADE = BS2. or, just toss bs1 and bs2 upgrade away and buy it all over again, as bs2. We, BS1 upgraders, asked them to just let us exchange bs1 plus bs2 upgrade for the regular BS2, but they refused. So, pick your poison.

Sorry, I can't send any error or dmp files for it because I uninstalled it a while back after al the crashes,, so I don't have any current files to send.. I would have to re-install, let it crash teamspeak, then find and send them, so, if someone else has some of the crashes and files to send that would be great.. otherwise... would have to go through it all over again to get some crash files..

if someone knows of a way to use it, without making it crash TeamSpeak I am listening... I would re-install it immediately if I could figure out how to use it correctly and not crash Teamspeak... if I am screwing it up... I want o know how, I looked for a log file, and not sure if there is still one around, I took out Aries a few days ago, as it just crash TeamSpeak asap,,, almost immediately.. or I will hope there is another fix coming, if it is something that needs fixed, but I thought the last patch was the big fix.. I am so confused... must be legal drugs and old age..

I had to uninstall ARIES, it keeps crashing my TeamSpeak. So sad, tried many times... latest version of everything... :cry:

maybe I have to wipe the old Aries completely from the registry? then install the latest Aries Beta? maybe the old registry files left something that computer doesn't like?
