  1. as soon a Saitek release a Win10 drivers, please post. Thanx. It is really messing me/us up not being able to fly DCS properly. Not going to rant here.... (would love to smack them)...:joystick:
  2. I didn't start this thread..., but I am only interested in getting Win10 to work properly with my Saitek X52 Pro. I personally had no problem with Win 8.1 after I got the proper driver from Saitek. I want to stick with Win10 in the conversation, to get it working, right now it has no chance of working without a new release by Saitek. (my stick has many hours on it, and any small problems are magnified by wrong and old software.) I check Saitek's website often, and so far nothing for Win10. :joystick:
  3. not sure how, but they don't work for me.... in Win10
  4. it's more then double keys when you click, you get 4 or more.... and no, there is no fix for Win10, you have to wait for Saitek to release the Win10 driver.
  5. I don't want to get booted of this forum, but Saitek is so full of crap, they left us flapping out in the wind.. some decent publication should rip them...
  6. what happens is when you press a key, it gets double pressed, like when you click launch, to drop a bomb, the A10C, it will give a message that the weapon was cancelled (one the bomb in the MFD), because of the stinking double press from the wrong driver... so you cannot use the command with the old driver in the profile...
  7. yes, Saitek Win 8 drivers are causing several key presses to not work properly in DCS with Win10! ...
  8. they are so far behind the curve, would like to slap them!
  9. here is a thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=143906&highlight=win10&page=2 with more info:
  10. The key presses with the older Win8.1 X54 drivers are giving me problems.. wonder if it will fix itself with re-installed of Saitek drivers, or Saitek has to make Win10 Drivers? Tired of these issues... IL-2 seems ok... :joystick:
  11. In USA, so Win10 free upgrade from Win8.1. I want to chat with those who upgraded to Win10. Those on the Win10 upgrade experience. No foil hats please. I ran the Win10 upgrade over my Win8.1. The Saitek keys on my stick were not all responding. of course Saitek has no Win10 drivers. I could only re-install my Saitek X52 Pro Joystick drivers. After Win10 was installed as upgrade. At first, I fired up DCS. it was crappy slow, and would not load. I rebooted, then it loaded fine after at least one reboot. Then, it started asking for a key for each aircraft. I just closed those windows after they popped up one at a time. I then closed DCS and ran it again, I flew online a bit. Then I think all is fixed. I hope. :joystick:
  12. Thank you, the pedals works great!
  13. I tried using an F-4 Phantom backup compass in custom van, and it would not work with the metal in the car.. aircraft instruments do not like auto dashboards.. and I am not getting into electronics that are sensitive and need to be tuned in Faraday cages... :joystick:
  14. LOL Philip J. Fry :music_whistling: I liked the Corsair in Strike Fighters series... :joystick:
  15. yes, having to zoom the compass for a heading,,, that is always something I have to do, seems to be with the helo, except for the Ka-50.. which has a very nice compass system...
  16. are they still for sale? thanx
  17. I also need two of those parts, that the spring connects to both mine broke.. and I am not a good fabricator, not enough tools here.. if I can't fix maybe email Saitek., they used to send parts years ago...
  18. Followed BunYap since Strike Fighters!
  19. I won a cooler master Sentinel gaming mouse a few years ago, and love it! One thing that helps me immensely, is that the precision and adjustable/removable weights... as my hands shake and the weights help immensely. it has tons of features, and programmable too ! :joystick:
  20. welcome to the club, mine broke off a long while back... someone with same problem with theirs... fabricated a fix... but it would not be easy without tools and parts.. not much can be done.. can hold the back with bungie, or just keeps feet back.. or? buy new... I will avoid my Saitek cheap crap plastic rant... The warranty is worthless cause the garbage breaks out of warranty... if Saitek truly cared they would make amends with us longtime customers who buy new flight gear every few years, they should own up to garbage... they also closed their support forums... gee thanx....
  21. I took photos of the Red Arrows when I serviced their aircraft, and got signed copied of the brochures... I will try to post some photos,, that was many years ago... we have a virtual squad in DCS and can fly the same planes online.. they were there for 3 days, the first 2 days were practice, not open to public viewing.. will post photos, if this forum allows.. I post them on my Facebook share pages...
  22. I am bringing this thread back to life,. I would like to add the metal pieces to repair my Saitek pedals where the hooks to the springs broke on the cheap arse Saitek plastic! anyone have the metal already cut that I can add to the plastic and reconnect my spring on my pedals, both sides of the pedals.. thanx? let me know if you have the metal? if I need to find a way to cut it, etc.. oh oh.. you are way over the other die of Earth in Poland... ooops.. I am in the USA... Anways,, any ideas on fabricating the metal to reconnect the springs? Thank you! Ram
  23. Controls located between the seats UH-1, like radio and rockets... but without TrackIR. I have to try to look through the stupid pilots clothes, and Pilot bodies, try to turn the controls with my mouse.. No TackIR to look around corners of I looked at the controls for changing controls and something the controls work for things like the radio and VHF AM radio controls on the rotary switches between the seats, is a pain because just trying to do it blindly. I set control keys on the joystick, but find I must do it with the switches.
  24. I find it bleeds of speed badly in turning.. and is very unstable in most turns,, you have to be very gentile with turns...:pilotfly:
