That would be brilliant. I've seen stuff like that in "Dangerous Waters" game mission editor. +1 if possible.

Hi there, A couple of wishes to me as DCS ATC controller and I am sure one of many, many ! Things that make serving an airport more difficult: - Lack of meteorological equipment. Only a problem if the weather is dynamic. But when it's dynamic it's a big pain to get the data. I use two x A10 to measure the wind direction and strength. In order to measure surface wind you have to take A-10 up the RWY and speed up to a certain speed before you get the readout. That's very awkward. Pressure is less of a problem. While playing as JTAC there hardly any possibility to obtain the data. Btw. Why it's manpad who has the JTAC capability, why not M4 infantry ? - Tower view. We put M4 Infantry unit on the tower then Ctrl + F7 to have a view of the airfield and aprons with zoom option. It's Ok, but also a bit awkward. - We use Follow me vehicles for planes that have the radio damaged (Aries radio) and also we use fire-trucks in case somebody declare emergency. Would it be much of a problem to add the flash lights on those vehicles ? Also standard night lights ? - Not an airport support, but also ground related. Would it be possible to civilian (people) units ? It would add so much to the missions. Especially CAS and JTAC play. Cheers

Your experience with Thrustmaster MFD Cougar?

Thanks Snarf. There's not much there: - 15inch monitor - I had to remove the stand and the second monitor may seem high for some people. - 2 MFD attached by velcro. I've removed the screws with little panels underneath the MFD frames , so they stick closer to the monitor. - Easy monitor configurator to allighn MFDs http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=71831 - Helios software: exported gauges I need(hard to read in the game: Fuel, Altimeter, warning lights panel, hydraulics pressure. RWR, gear status lights, CDU display, HSI, clock. I should move the joystick below the desk, cause it obstructs the monitor. - There's a standard numpad there. I have mapped the UFC fuctions to it. I am using a different one at the moment, with more keys. My mate uses this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151565799700?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT . He said that it is actually programmable, not a repeater. I haven't tested it myself though. -

No reliability issues. Have mine for about three / four years. I recently had a problem with the led light underneath the keys, it wouldn't start through TARGET software. But after I swiched it on via Windows it is now back to normal. As said before. It is a bit confusing to use it without monitor. You have to look up and down all the time and count which button to press. I don't know about framerate drop. It is possible. Mine is alright with two monitors. You might get a program like "Easy monitor" to export and easy place the MFD displays on the second monitor. While you there (two monitors) consider getting Helios software and put more stuff on the second monitor, like warning lights , etc... I have my MFD attached by velcro on an old 15inch monitor. Its a completely different game with a dedicated mfd monitor(s) and operating real buttons. It's quicker and you get better quality read out from the MFDs. I recommend it ! -

Probably somebody mentioned this already....You watch a video from a pilot's perspective and you move your head around like you are using Track IR. -

When in work, you ask somebody over the phone to "Stand by". -
Hi , I am not able to assign axis/buttons. I mean, I am able to assign them, but they don't work in the game. This happened after one of the updates. Need :helpsmilie: , JTAC mission tomorrow!

Hi, Sorry for digging out this thread. Last time I had posted a video here, people where happy about it, so I allow myself to insolently  post another one You can definiately call it "Combined arms" example. There is a human JTAC player, A10C's, KA-50's and a Huey. https://youtu.be/mrxCmf_FLos
