yup same here. win10 home 64bit other machine win 10 pro never seen this. so far DL'd the msvcr120.dll file an placed in dcs\bin and in system 32 and system then DL the redistributable and still no luck...if msvcr120.dll is in the bin folder I get a cannto start message ...just updated to 1.51 and no change either.... done the repair DCS too and same messages....no change sigh:cry:

Having said that most information I'd expect to come form the P3D F/A18 TACPAC /VRS MSFT flight sim environment... however i'm more looking tot he DCS version as performance of the TAC pac version is not that great...plus the environment not that great either... I remember attaching the cougar to a warthog some time back. as for footprint the warthog base is slightly larger though of course the cougar is thick ...housing the gimbals etc

Hi, Andre shipped me a seat some weeks back... all the way to New Zealand... I've placed it in a Obutto R3volution setup and it works fine. the straps are too short but that does not seem to be an issue.... Kudos to Andre for his epic help and communication... thanks again andre!!! to add petrol to the flames its a great addtion... next up is butt kickkers... :D regards Piers

It once again depends, If you are framerate limited through CPU ( which judgin by your 4.7GHz 3330K should not be an issue as 'upgrading' to a 5930K for instance would not yield you anything significant .. and might even hamper the framerate as you may not get a high OC as you appear to have. with the use of the VR options on Nvidia kit ie SLI one Gcard per eye that will no doubt gain traction the Gcard once again will provide the most significant upgrade though in your case you will have to wait till the next round of hardware as upgrading is somewat moot in your case :) DX 11 and then 12 enhancements that we are waiting for will prob yield the most consistent result in frame rate increase and consistency so I'm looking forward to that more than anyting else currently

Having just updated too. I have noticed that my frames have dropped significantly. I used to be pegged at 60 FPS and now that I've updated the performance regularly drops to below 40 FPS and lower when comeng into land. Glad this thread was started as I was about to kick one off myself. my 2c

hey Greekbull...and others.... Currently there is AFAIK no Cable specification for 2.0. It currently is HDMI 1.4b so upto the max length ~6m I believe 4K ( or more accurately 3820 x 2160) @60HZ should be fine. HDMI will typically degrade though 'sparkles being evident onscreen'. I stand to be corrected but the HDMI consortium has yet to release a spec as 1.4b is sufficient I've not personally had issue with running DCS on a UHDTV when testing on my new Set. P
