I don't think this will be too much of an issue. We've had the caucasus for so many years that I'm positive 80% or more of the community will be buying Nevada. This isn't BF3 or BF4 with DLC's been released every month so I don't think there's need to worry.
We will most likely have a proper server browser as well so that should tighten the gap.
I notice they not using the grass that was featured in early screenshots. Even though it looked copy and pasted it still looked decent. Perhaps they've scrapped it and opted for bushes and grass patches similar to what we have now.
I just bought the KA-50 and am totally in love with it. Any chance of adding a few KA-50 slots in the missions to test how well they work with the hueys?
No problem activating steam keys on the standard DCS. You will just have to add dcs world to your library (don't download it) then click CD Key on the right to view the key.
Is this 104th server only compatible with the OpenBeta build? I try to connect with standard DCS World V1.2.15 final and it just won't connect, yet when I try with the OpenBeta it does. :wallbash:
Am I the only one noticing that tracers no longer cause major fps drops?
Edit: Nevermind, still seems the same. The F-86 tracers seem to be improved though. Probably got to do with the fire-rate tweaks.
Just started a mission and there seems to be a bug with the Mi-8 emitting landing lights on both sides as well as down (even when the helicopter is completely cold).
Edit: Happens on hot starts as well.
Hold out for EDGE, your 660 should fair very well once it comes. I'm probably gonna be stuck using my 560 for the first few months but even I'm optimistic that I will get a decent boost.
Nice to see you happy with the 970 while still using a Phenom II. I'm currently using a 955 and was worrying about any possible bottlenecks if I got the 970 but DCS runs at under 60% CPU usage most of the time so I don't think I need to worry.
