Point Track on the TGP can be achieved by right pressing the sensor control switch again after you have already assigned TDC priority with the sensor control switch (assuming you have the TGP on your right DDI).

Most likely due to the additional Normandy adjustments.

A hide control stick control option is currently available in DCS so no it won't be a problem.

Doesn't work on 1.5 and OA. Both versions have not worked for me ever since updating to the latest versions of each build.

Not really, if you have enough space on your drive to keep 1.5 or Open Alpha or Both + 2.5 (which will be as big or bigger than your current builds) then don't worry you shouldn't have to do anything. But in the case of Blech (and now myself) is I don't have enough space on my drive so when the 2.5 installer starts copying the files over from my current DCS builds I will run out of space, so I will have to move DCS over to a different storage device and that is where an edit of the dcs_locale_source file may be required to make sure the 2.5 updater finds the already existing DCS builds.

You don't need to move it anywhere as Cibit explained. When you download and exucute the 2.5 installer it will create the dcs_Locale_source.txt, which will have the location of any of your DCS builds. Moving it to another harddrive may cause the installer and locale file to not locate your installations. If you do choose to move your installation due to space etc. then just cancel the 2.5 installer once it has created the DCS World folder and .exe and simply create/open the dcs_Locale_source.txt and paste the current directory location in there. No need for any reg edits. Edit: Unless you want to move it and have it still be playable then yes you may have to edit the registry.

This would be great. It would be nice to have the option, especially for the Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer ALG so that an Omaha Beach mission can be done.

Any news on a fix? It's odd how this is not effecting everyone. Nothing changed in my DCS builds besides the updates.

I'm trying to spawn/activate the Smoke static object and have setup it up to trigger after a certain number of bombs have entered the zone, but it is always active already at mission start. I'm probably setting something wrong in the trigger so some help would be appreciated :) FYI: I setup the 'Scenery Destruction' into the same trigger and that works fine, just not the smoke objects...

I would like to check via cmd if the DCS Updater and DCS login is able to connect and or update on a work network that has various websites and torrenting blocked. Does anyone have the IP or address used by the updater when updating and logging in?

I managed to get a fixed wing principles of flight handbook from a friend who completed her PPL and found it to be very helpful. This was the handbook provided along with others for the CAA examinations here in South Africa, but they all very much the same world wide. Look around and see if you can find one online.

Not sure if it's a dumb suggestion as I've only recently started participating, but I feel the addition of waypoints (mostly for fighters) for each PAK area could really help with some organization and commonality for all operations. The waypoint doesn't have to be anywhere specific it could just be placed at the center of each zone box. We have waypoint systems for most aircraft but they are currently unused (besides the A-10C if you want to go through setting a flight plan up).

Just saw the latest news thread on Caucasus 2.0, and it's looking very nice. My only concern is will performance still be in the same range as the current map version. There's still some people out there including me that cannot run NTTR with their current systems but can still run Caucasus 1.5.
