  1. Anyone else having issues logging in? Getting the can't connect to master error.
  2. Finally downloaded 1.2.12 and noticed that the Sabre pilot model is new as well as the addition of the sunglasses. Good job BST! :thumbup::notworthy: The rate of fire should hopefully be soon maybe with the next update to 2.12. Edit: Correct 200 gallon drop tank model has now been added.
  3. Sounds good! Hope we get the proper pilot model soon as well. The oxygen mask wearing BF109 pilot gives me hope! Can you check if the rate of fire has been corrected for the guns?
  4. Size may vary depending on which modules and mods you have installed. Mine was 3.3GB, but the downloaded files are compressed resulting in only about 60% of that total actually being downloaded.

  13. Good day gents. I'm been having a problem with the X52 grip being loose and wobbly on the shaft for some time now, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a fix. I haven't opened and separated the grip yet to see what's what so I'd prefer if someone else who fixed this problem could chip in before I do anything drastic.
  14. Hope Jaroslav has a speedy recovery and returns to making the collectives. I'd love to still get one but I'd also love to try make one for myself in my spare time. Maybe Jaro could post a full list of the parts and tools required. :joystick:
  15. I trust you are using FacetrackNoIR 1.70. In that case make sure to create a 'headtracker' folder in every aircraft folder and place only the HeadTracker.dll in each of them as well as in DCS World\bin\headtracker\ Examples: DCS World/bin/headtracker/HeadTracker.dll DCS World/Mods/aircraft/UH-1/bin/headtracker/HeadTracker.dll DCS World/Mods/aircraft/A-10C/bin/headtracker/HeadTracker.dll Setting up FaceTrackNoIR in DCS is quite simple really as long as your clip and webcam and LED's are decent and bright enough. I'm not sure if putting the .dll in every aircraft folder is necessary anymore as I've only setup FaceTrackNoIR once and that was quite a lot of months ago.
  16. Works fine with Notepad++, just tested it. BST will have to fix up the muzzle flashes as they won't shynchronize with the higher fire rate, but otherwise it works great.   18. I'd be all for the update files being provided alternatively as a manual download on the DCS site. Would allow us to download the updates on other PC's instead of being restricted to the updater.

  25. I'm still very interested in knowing whether any of the effects in DCS will be getting overhauls with EDGE. I just watched the Sabre & Dora trailers and apart from the water splashes looking different everything else looks the same. Would new smoke and smoke dynamics with reaction to objects in the world be a realistic expectation or is that a tad too 'next gen'? I'm sure integration into DCS and optimization take priority over anything else currently, but I'm still curious as to what the capabilities are and what we can expect with EDGE.
