Hello, I have freesync monitor 75hz which now should work with nvidia gsync, I have GTX1080. So I´ve tried it and works nice in caped 75fps but with trackir stutters. I´ve noticed that trackir is locked at 60fps while the game is running at 75fps. Locked with RTSS to 75. When moving my head in track ir software, I see that it isnt very smooth movement, 75hz vs 60fps i guess. So the question is why trackir is locked to 60fps while game runs at 75fps. Second question is, when inside track ir, moving my head at 60fps, I click inside window where the head movement is presented, and start to move my mouse randomly my fps in track ir rise to 75fps and movement of the head become very smooth. If i stop moving mouse it goes back to normal 60fps. How many fps do you have in track ir? Could I have smooth gameplay if trackir would run at 75fps as the game? Why it rises with the movement of the mouse... Thank you for your response, and if I wrote something that was said before, I apologize. Vlad.

Hi all, happens to me many times, i see distant target (black dot) in front of me through the hud, but im not able to track it with eos or radar, i move sensors up down left right but no luck,sensors do not see the target and target is also not in range for close range modes. Can you help? Why this happens. Sometimes I see black dot but eos cant see it, than i use radar to find it, sometimes even radar doesnt help. Thank you for your help.

This post is about stop complaining on the forum, instead show developers what you do prefer with your wallet. In my opinion, there is need for module like c-130 or An-12 militry trasport aircraft(yoke controlled), which would give satisfaction to those who want to control bigger plane in dcs but also those who look for something closer to civilian plane.

Hi all, many thanks for your input. I´ve reinstaled whole machine, windows and both versions of dcs. Also applied Firmek´s settings suggestion. But what did really helped - manually set max fps to 60 (not in the dcs config file, but in nvidia inspector) and set my monitor to 60hz. It was huge step in smoothness. Monitor is capable of 75hz and I will experiment with that later. After that changed, I got really smooth gameplay, as long as it stays at 60ps. Despite I´ve set 60 fps as max, it shows in dcs 62 (rctrl+pause). If I go below 60fps, the gameplay is not smooth anymore. And I didn´t use any vsync or fastsync in nvidia drivers, or in dcs, I will test later. Looks like in 1.5 i got fps drops below this point, nevada is better i think. I will further analyze this and post here, maybe somebody will came to same situation.

My suggestion is FSX, choose simple built in plane, and kid will be happy. When friend's kids come for visit they like to play fsx. I give them my old logitech 3d pro joyistick and hide my warthog :D Im afraid they would breake it..

Dear pilots, I have i7 4770k oc, 16gb ram, ssd, freesync 2560x1440 32" 75hz monitor. Recently Ive moved from amd 290x to gforce 1080 despite i have freesync monitor. When i swaped graphics and uninstaled amd and instaled nvidia drivers Ive noticed extreme stuttering. Fps was 120, than i limited fps to 60 with not great improvement. I would like to ask you, if this id normal and i need to change some settings in the drivers or in dcs. Are there any mandatory settings that i have to adjust to have butter smooth experience?
