After today's DCS World STABLE update DCS 2.5.535461 THE MIG-21 STILL sounds in external view like a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.......... And the afterburner is nowhere to be seen.

Thank you very much for this post. I might be wrong, but I seem to notice that with the latest release version things have slightly improved, but anyways, not nearly as they should be to really be able to spot distant planes / targets, even at relatively near distances.

C-130 nice... But I remember years and years ago a "game" of a B-17 in wich you could act as a bomber, behind the Norden bombsight, while the plane was being piloted by ai. Imagine that in DCS....

So I thought I give it a go at night mission in Nevada with full moon. But in spite contacting properly the ATC, none of the runways switched on the lights... not even after landing, and none of the Nevada airports, no matter if military or not. Mission time around midnight. I tried the date range from 15 to 19 th July 2011 crescent or full moon, I believe, the runways don't light up. As soon as I changed the date to 20 th July 2011, waning moon I believe, then the runways would go on as expected. ED please correct.

Thanks all, very different than it used to be... I have remapped the controls and now it works.

No difficulties whatsoever and no need to use the CH control manager, other than calibrate the CH Flight stick, Hotas Throttle and pedals. You can set all the curves and sensitivities and deadzones inside DCS, and assign any command. I really don't understand what you all are talking about..... All my CH products work PERFECTLY. Windows 10 home 1903.

Yes! That is what I have always done for years but it does not work anymore.....

Since last STABLE update DCS 2.5.535461 I am not able to activate / select the MagicII Air to Air missiles. I have done that a 100 times, only now it is not working, even after complete warm-up.

I'd also would LOVE a pacific Theater map, Corsair and P-48 but not like that incomplete, stuttering bad programmed Normandy...

Well, the ones that are REALLY missing are the WWII German nazi bombers......
