First of all, in NO OTHER map, (Nevada, Caucasus, Persian Gulf, Channel) even always with hot start do I have select "abort takeoff" and start again to continue the dialogue with the controller... No matter if using a WWII or modern plane. Secondly, as you can see in the video, some airfields of the Normandy 2.0 map DO reply, but only after contacting them TWICE. Again, in NO OTHER map, (Nevada, Caucasus, Persian Gulf, Channel) this happens. Again, No matter if using a WWII or modern plane. But the worse part is that Manston, even trying to contact it twice, three times, or more does NOT respond.... Please advise.

Almost 9 months have gone by, and after yet another update yesterday, 30 September 2024, "needless to say" still complete radio silence.... None of the airfields in the Normandy 2.0 map reply. Depressing and unacceptable... Though I'll keep reminding ED and UGRA about this issue, made even more disappointing due to the fact that this was working perfectly in the Channel map....

Updated today to DCS 2.9.7.59074... Sometimes is IMPOSSIBLE to end a mission hitting esc, (ctrl-alt-del only option) and even worse, the communication / ATC list (F1,F2,ETC) does not appear.....

Well yes, this works, thanks.. But as I have already answered to rob10 in this very thread, at 4K the fonts / interface are TINY and very difficult to read.. That's why I have had it on 1.5 x since A G E S.. And now suddenly it won't work any more? ED, please fix this.....

Well, thank you very much, indeed the problem is the carrier... ANY supercarrier... (CVN-71 -75). But one must admit, my training mission makes no sense without it... Moreover, I have made a new mission from scratch, with a carrier, and indeed.. Crash! as described on the first post of this thread. (Included). Though.... I have been playing this missions over and over again for at least a year now, with no issues whatsoever... and trough several updates of DCS.... And now, just after updating to the last DCS 2.9.7.58923. suddenly this issue appears. So it is only logical to think that there is an issue with this last update / Supercarrier... ED? F-18-TEST-Crash.miz

Well, this works, thanks... But at 4K the fonts / interface are TINY and very difficult to read.. BTW. reverting it back from 1.0 x to 1.5 x starts again the problem... That's why I have had it on 1.5 x since AGES.. And now suddenly it won't work any more? ED, please fix this.....

Update today DCS 2.9.7.58923. Some missions completely busted! No way to open comms menu, no way to end mission or open setting with "ESC"! See screeshots. Modifying / changing re-saving re-loading mission or DCS is to no avail.... Please advise.

Update today DCS 2.9.7.58923. In a RANDOM fashion, the logbook records hours and all else, sometimes it does, sometimes it does not..... All single player missions. Go figure....

Update today DCS 2.9.7.58923. In a RANDOM fashion, some Airfields do reply now! I have got an answer from Biggin hill, and Lympne, all the other Airfields remain silent, no matter if marked as blue or neutral. Obviously they are doing something, but still not good enough......
