In the meantime I have found the solution: Disabled "full screen" in the settings, and then everything as normal. No fps hit and there is NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL if "full screen" enabled or disabled, apart of the above mentioned. VERY ODD though.. I have had "full screen" in the settings since literally YEARS, and NEVER had such an issue after an update.....

After the huge update 2.9.6.57650 the mouse cursor in-game turns VERY big and VERY fast, this happens also in the cockpits. No matter if the new launcher is disabled or enabled, no matter if it is set 1x 2x 3x or 4x. This makes usability of all mouse functions difficult. On game exit, my desktop turns briefly from 4K to full hd, and then the mouse briefly freezes, then everything turns to normal.... Please advise. Another month has gone by, and after yet another HUGE update 2.9.6.57650 still complete radio silence.... As mentioned, this concerns not only Manston but other Normandy 2.0 Airfields too. Ever so HUGELY disappointing....

I did have a look... Though the issue remains.....

No way.... Newest unified version 2.9.3.51704 and STILL the radio of Normandy 2.0 Manston is broken... I mean.. is it really so difficult to fix this? Again... Letting alone the fact that this was working perfectly in the Channel map.... Ever so disappointed.

Indeed... Deeply disappointing... It's 2024, it's DCS 2.9.2.49940 Open Beta, and still radio silence from Manston, Ugra and ED...

OK.... Deleting the whole folder edModelViewerTrunk did the trick. But anyway, this program has been in a miserable state since years... No way to save preferences, extremely slow and unresponsive, etc......

This IS a bug report thread.....

And this would solve all the problems? In the meantime, several times the well known Press num. 0 , then num Enter, now each time I start a newly saved mission the view goes properly to the default view immediately, each time, no matter if it is an old or new mission, no matter the plane...... Go figure....

Well, let's hope that those "Ugra guys" notice this....

Well, it is not only the BF, most of my planes WWII or not seem to work now, they go straight to the default view.. Go figure...... I'll keep on testing...

Addendum. AVERY SAME mission, but done in the channel map, the ATC responds!

Hi virgo47, I mostly strt my missions from the mission editor, though though where would I see that my mission file contains saved views? Mission in question attached. Addendum: I have just opened an older mission WITHOUT SAVING IT in DCS 2.9.1.48335 Open Beta AND the view goes properly to the default view immediately...... BF-109-Free-Flight.miz

ED? I tried today to disable easy communication, but more of the same. ATC of Manston in Normandy 2.0 does not reply.... NEVER. No matter if the airfield is red, blue or white, no matter if the two- or three-digit frequencies are used, no matter the WWII airplane, USA, UK or German, no matter if one uses the “old” radio frequencies of the channel map OR the ones in the “new” Normandy 2.0 map... I have not tried other airfields. Please advise.
