If you click on CHANGE SETTINGS then ALLOW ANOTHER PROGRAM a list should appear with the available choices.

The first thing that came to mind was you may not have the OB listed as an allowed program in your windows firewall.

I agree which is why a limited free trial may be a better way to test the water. Regardless of what marketing strategy was used I think it would be a benefit to DCSW if more was being done to attract new CA enthusiasts.

Yes but they are discounting it for flight sim junkies rather than trying to make it attractive to tank lovers outside of the DCSW community.

I think there is a great deal of potential with CA that could be realized if there were more players that used it as their preferred module rather than an occasional alternative to an aircraft. I would like to see ED promote CA more by making it attractive to those that would rather drive tanks than fly, and there are tank sims out there that prove they exist. I would like to see ED offer CA as a free module like the SU25T and P51D has been or at least offer a free 30 day trial period coupled with some advertising placed on various related websites that would attract new blood. Imagine the MP events that could happen if there was a community of folks that were dedicated to CA.

Go to your saved games/dcs world/config folder and delete the view folder. That will re-set all views to default.

Whatever became of this? Inquiring minds want to know.

The mission editor allows a reduction of cloud thickness to a factor of 200. Is there any way to modify that restriction manually in a lua file so a lower factor could be used and if so....how?

Sometimes these issues are mission related. Try other missions to see if they work.

Click the FPM button under the CDU screen on the right console, the first line should read "01 Auto MSN" ... then click the arrow left to it and it changes to Man.

The flashing in the TGP has been reported and one GBU10 will take the bridge. Damage models and weapon strengths have been tweaked over time and seems to be a WIP.

I can't prove this but I have had more reliable results if after saving a mission in the ME, I close DCS World completely and re-open it before running the mission. Just a theory.

Set the zoom level and body position you want BEFORE you pause TIR, not after. Only pause TIR after everything looks like you want then RHTALT+0. You can go to your saved games/dcs world/config folder and delete the view folder to reset to default views if needed.

It hasn't been implemented yet.

Have you tried cleaning out your appdata/local/dcs world openbeta folder?

A-10C TGP Flashing I know this has probably been reported already but I can't find it. The A-10C TGP still has flashing objects and is nearly unusable in black hot and white hot modes. Hopefully this will be corrected soon.

Click on START/All Programs/Eagle Dynamics/DSC World OpenBeta/Update DCS World OpenBeta. There is no need to type anything.

If you run the update from the start menu it should pick up where it left off.

I noticed that the F8 target view is not available for the A10C in the 1.5 OB. Is this a bug or was it removed for a reason?

I have had to choose flat shadows only in my options to eliminate annoying tree shadows from flashing at low altitude. As result I have also lost cockpit shadows. I can live with that but would prefer it if cockpit shadows were available as a separate options setting with a high resolution that wouldn't have any affect on all of the other shadows in the sim.
