I you go to your saved games/dcs openbeta/config folder for the A-10C and delete the VIEW folder it will re-set the F1 view to default.

I had another episode of this today and can't figure out what caused it. I don't think it's an issue with ogg or wav formats but because it is such an erratic problem it will be difficult if not impossible to pin it down to a single cause. I am going to wait until the next patch and see what happens before I pull all my hair out.:cry:

I have had this happen numerous times and have yet to figure out why. One method I have been testing that seems to work is after editing a mission and saving it, before trying to run it in either SP or MP mode, close DCS World completely and return to desktop. Then restart DCS World and run the mission. I will have to test this method more thoroughly to be sure if it is a solution but I would be interested to know if this method works for others that may be having the same issue. It seems that there is something about the save function that is not behaving normally. Update: I just loaded your V7 miz in the 1.5 ME and tested the sound files in the trigger menu and there was no sound. However when I opened the miz file and extracted the sound files they played just fine in Audacity. Weird!

Can someone tell me where to find the dds files for the repair workshop that is available in the ME? Update: Never mind, I found it.

There are some A-10C pilots that use SimHQ's Teamspeak server so you may want to register with SimHQ and check in from time to time to see what's happening. I host A-10C missions at 2:30 and/or 8 PM CST fairly often and would be glad to have you join in if the time zone fits.

Although I had emptied my saved games screenshot folder yesterday, I ran a mission, took a shot just to see if it would show up in my bin folder but it didn't.

I don't think the problem is trees but rather tree shadows. I am getting good results with flat shadows only.

This sounds more like an opinion than a fact. I have been using the X52 Pro for nearly 3 years with no problems at all. The programming software takes time to learn like any software but has also worked without a flaw for me. When I decided to take my time and go step by step I learned what I needed to know from the provided documentation. I remember trying to install JSGME 3 times with no luck thinking the instructions were inadequate. Then I decided to slow down and read them carefully taking things step by step and it worked perfectly. If mine broke today I'd buy another one. PM me if I can be of any help.

I have tried every possible setting, with or without terrain mods and the only way the trees look natural without shadows popping in and out is to select flat shadows only and flat terrain shadows on. I lose cockpit shadows but I'd rather have the terrain look good so I don't mind giving that up. I am using a GTX 650ti OC 2GB GPU so maybe it's an issue with older GPUs that those with the new ones are not having. I remain cautiously optimistic that this issue can be resolved.:joystick:

use the + and - icons at the bottom of the new server page to add or remove missions from your saved games/dcs openbeta/missions folder.

If a person only has the beta installed (DCS World OpenBeta) and 2.0 (DCS World) becomes available or 1.5 goes gold and the beta is no longer needed, all one has to do is change the openbeta (DCS World OpenBeta) to the full install using command prompt entries (Instructions Here) and the single installation will become the full installation (DCS World), update as usual and the main DCS World MP server list will be available.

I have only the beta and it works fine. HERE are instructions for switching between one and the other without having 2 installations.

I thought it was my imagination. For me with the A-10C re-starting the game doesn't work either. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Using Notepad++ go to your config/graphics.lua file and add render3D = false; I added it as line #302 and it works fine.

I agree and am hoping the multiple choices return. I always thought the warm colors looked more natural.

This is the vector clip or hat clip. It attaches to a baseball style cap and has light conducting material rather than tracking lights. I have had both and am very satisfied with the vector clip.

If you use Teamspeak go to settings/options/hotkeys and make sure that "keyboard and mouse only" has been selected in the drop down menu, lower right corner of window.

As an example for 1.2.16 version, you have a saved games DCS folder. If you rename it DCS1 and fly a mission you will then have 2 saved games DCS folders, a new DCS folder and a DCS1 folder. The only one that will be enabled in game will be the DCS folder so it would simply be a matter of picking the one you want to be active by renaming it before a mission. Same would apply for DCS Openbeta.
