Just successfully installed DCS Normandy 1944 Map + WWII Assets Pack Bundle. I also have Nevada. But now starting DCS II, it get stuck at 57% (needs 1 minute to reach there), freezes totally and I have to shut it down with "Task Manage". The DCS II process is not in red as "inactive" displayed, as when usually a program is when crashed. Repaired DCS II, restarted the compter but every time it always get stuck at 57%. I have successfully installed Normandy 1944 Map + WWII Assets Pack Bundle. When I open the "Mission Editor" in DCSII, I only have Nevada map available, but can't find there the option to change the map to Normandy! Need a hint where to open it.

...But the P-51D gear-handle SURELY does need one! :joystick:

I thought you was talking about the inscriptions of all Instrument Labels, and not just Hud, ABRIS & TOOLTIPS. Before the last update all instruments labels were in English. I also see in your pictures that your instruments lettering are in Russian. How am I supposed to operate in the cockpit if the switches & buttons are in Russian? :joystick:

Don't know why it's not working. The Cockpit-Labels are still in Russian. Here my localizer. lua: country = "EN" if LockOn_Options.avionics_language == "native" then country = "EN" end reverse_table = {} reverse_table["EN"] = {}

I didn't find: _Options.cockpit_ Instead I have: country = "EN" if LockOn_Options.avionics_language == "native" then country = "EN" end Is that ok? I made the change but it didn't work. I still have the cockpit labels in Russian... PS. I love the Russian Language but sadly can't read it...

There are a lot of threads on this topic... Just having had that theme again futilely discussed / ruminated, doesn't entitle its incontinence any validity, because 99% of them cause only diversion away from the Programmer's incompetence. Please cite only the link that is REALLY NOT delusory.

Even the old FSX dinosaur has Addons like FSPS - Xtreme FSX PC, which can read the Hardware and can activate all processor cores! If the DCS programmers are too lazy / or not been payed well enough to fulfill this task, why don't DCS open the doors to theird party specialists like FSPS and beams uns eventually into the 21st ?!

FSX is older than DCS and yet there are Add-Ons who can ladle out all cores like FSPS “Xtreme FSX PC”. It has been designed keeping in mind the thousands of possible hardware configurations. This special software analyzes your computer hardware in depth (CPU, GPU, memory, hard disc speed and etc.) and while reading all of your current hardware, it will do special calculations about the tweaks that need to be applied. It sets a number of documented and undocumented tweaks to the correct values that is optimal for your PC. Just execute it and enjoy it with the maximum frames and smoothness you can get from your PC without changing any of your FSX sliders. Monitering my ressources during the FSX simulation, it spoons out up to 95% of all my 6x 3.2Ghz cores! If that’s possible with FSX, then that should also goes for DCS too. With every DCS new update the FPS performance is worsening. On the long term it will be unavoidable to braze this weak chain together, so better start with it right now.

10% clouds in the sky are enough to keep your AI external and internal (cockpit) grey without sunshine as long you're flying below 4 to 5 thousand feets! This is now the third update and ED hasn't yet worked out this most essential realistic feature. Bring us back the sunlight to our cockpit asap!

With your animated pics, you nailed accurately this problem! Thanks. With every new update, on one hand ED solves some bugs, on the other hand BIG ISSUES are created! Simmers expect 100% realistic environment, and should remain totally separated from Gamers' nagging expectation.

You're right, it is the Saitek X55 who was guilty. I disconnected it and reconnected my old X52 and DCS worked fine again. But as you said, it is indeed a new one. This is weird thing that a HOTAS can lead to a crash! :pilotfly:

Can you please elaborate in a more precise way what you mean with "reconnect a solder joint..." and go step by step, because I have the same problem as Rikus. I've contacted MadCatz Support, but it seems they're too lazy to respond :helpsmilie:

My GeForce Graphic driver is the 361.75, so I guess it's up to date. Is your USB tipp based on the crash data analysis attached, or is it just a hunch?

After installing and configuring my new Saitek x55 Rhino, DCS 1.5.2 crashes every time I start some instant mission at least six times. I don't know if the new Joystick has to do with the crashes, but it was the only change that took place. Before that everything went fine. Need help asap because I badly need to check out the X55 Stick & Throttle. attached is the Crash file. EDIT 02.09.16 Problem solved! Crash 05Feb.zip
