  1. The end of Q1 2020 as a goal was given by ED in the Super carrier pre-release statement.
  2. It can be difficult to understand the software development process. What seems like slowness or inaction by the developer is often caused by standards set by the developer on the quality or state of any given products public release. Do we as the customer really need to know that the new formula for part of the code works or not? or would we rather hear about working module, updates etc? Not knowing the inner working of ED's operation is just something we have to live with. That or get a job working for ED. This is my point of view and as such is open to opinion.
  3. It was me however, it is more difficult in 2.5.6 but more real than 2.5.5. Thanks to 2.5.6 I have now learned to rely on the AoA Indexer. My last 10 traps have been successful. Thank you to all for the tips.
  4. I am having a hard time trapping the F/A-18C in 2.5.6 looks like hook bounce but doesn't happen in 2.5.5.
  5. There are so many different computer setups around the globe that it boggles the mind. that is the point of an Open Beta program to iron out bugs, some people will have problems large and small and some users will have no problems. With that said, all feedback no matter the form is useful in one form or another to developers.
  6. Been testing for about 2 hours now, have tried F-18, F-16, SU-33, P-51 and all maps in 2.5.6. So far very impressive, there is more traffic and the traffic makes more sense. Water effects are great and lighting is a great change that could use some tweaking to perfect. For me on one monitor Performance is ultra smooth. I did see some shimmering from tree shadows on the Caucasus map.
  7. 1020 of 2278.8 of deltas in just under 1 hour, better than I expected.
  8. Roger that, I launched the updater from the command line and it is downloading now, thanks for the info.
  9. Not complaining just a note, Not seeing the 2.5.6 update yet, East coast of U.S. Thank you for all of your hard work.
  10. Same here, can't login OpenBeta or Stable
  11. Well said
  12. Thanks for the briefing BIGNEWY
  13. Personally I would rather see planes like the F-4, F-105, A6, A7 and of course any 5th generation aircraft as they become possible.
  14. Tail draggers, all of them. Not sure what it is; probably intimidating myself.
  15. I'll throw my name in as well, the drift to the left only occurs on the Viper. The drift occurs NWS engaged or not and also in the air, though it is much more subtle in the air.
  16. My guess is that there are quite a few aircraft in ED's wheel house that we may never see or are road mapped for 2021 and beyond.
  17. I just Pre Ordered the Super Carrier, the SU-33 then installed in Open Beta and stable, hope this helps answer any questions. Looking forward to checking it out until the Super Carrier arrives.
  18. I have to say DirectX 11 is my most anticipated feature
  19. 49 here
  20. Actually, Dino Cattaneo has made an excellent rendition of all three F-35 variants for FSX Acceleration and PREPAR3D. It can be viewed and downloaded at http://indiafoxtecho.blogspot.com/.
  21. I Want The Mig
  22. The news media has long been critical of defense spending, as such any story condemning a new weapons platform must be taken with a grain of salt. Also as I stated in an early post, nearly all new aircraft especially new generation aircraft have an extended wringing out period. The P-38, F-4, F-14, F-16 and F-22 just to name a few all had unforeseen issues that the news media heralded as a death nail for each. Who here remembers the seemingly un ending news stories and congressional debates over the Bradley Fighting vehicle or as we now call it the M113 troop carrier. Odds are that this story is related to a new gun platform (not the Vulcan canon found on most US aircraft) that has been found to have delays or set backs in development.
  23. Happy Birthday
  24. Could I suggest A P38 or P47 as the next US fixed wing, neither of these has been done as a study sim to my knowledge.
