  4. oh i dont believe this has anything to do with DOW missions or the server...just my guess is, that it has something to do with slmod... edit: ah ok, no slmod and still that bug i see....mh well, then it must be something else.
  5. ^^for my taste you add power way too slowly!even if it sounds like a bad idea, but try if you do better with applying full power immediately... also, at least on my machine the track shows you drifting to the right off the runway...but no indication of anything done to prevent this...no rudder i.e.

  7. ich würde versuchen zuerst den server zum laufen zu bekommen ohne SLmod.wenn das klappt, dann kannst du immer noch Slmod installieren.wobei ich mir nicht sicher bin ob ihr slmod benötigt wenn ihr nur zu zweit am server seit...solange dein vater den server nicht in der liste sehen kann, wird er wahrscheinlich auch nicht auf den server kommen.

  9. mh nope AI is not overperforming.they just do not follow the same physic rules if you want to say so...but with training on your side they will not outperform you. EDIT: yes, flying online with and against human pilots is way more rewarding!
  10. so 3rd december...now the big question...what time? i think i will need lots of coffee to stay up considering its only two hours to go in Wellington...and almost 48 hours to the end of december 3rd in Los Angeles :)
  11. ai uses a simplified flight model, and they retain energy quite good...having said that, with a bit of practice you should be able to keep energy better then them, and also really easily outturn them.

  13. if the engine dies after 5minutes using WEP everytime, then sorry you are doing something seriously wrong.
  14. yes, bomb in zone is working in general, dont know about that specific bomb you are trying though.... BUT, in my view there is a problem with this trigger function, as it doesnt detect whether the bomb really did impact in the zone, but triggers the action as soon as it flies within the zone...so if you drop your bomb, but overshoot the zone, it will still trigger it as "bomb in zone" and trigger the set action, even if the bomb flies past the zone, detonatiing somewhere behind the zone....

  16. snowtiger...no reason to play with mixture...except full rich can help to cool the engine down..but only use it when very very low!otherwise you will lose power.so normally leave the mixture on "run".as soon as you go above 46hg, use full 3000rpm. you can also use WEP.then its a bit more tricky to keep the engine healthy.but if done correctly, at least 30minutes with continuous WEP is possile and no problem.having said that, i have yet to feel the need to enable it against the dora.

  18. 47hg @27rpm is max continous though. you dont expect the p51 keeping up with the dora at that settings do you?or did i somehow mis-read your post?
  19. ^^ah well, im not talking about cockpit sounds like "clicks" of switches or other sounds of levers i.e. or anything else...also for sure as sounds overlap, some details get lost...but those jumo engine soundfiles sound awesome...in the game while i still think that the 190 sounds good, they just sound not as "convincing"..the engine shutdown file is a good example i think...there you can hear lots and lots of little details, which for me at least never are audible in game.
  20. the question is, does the game itself somehow apply "world sounds" over the engine sounds, or intefer with the engine soundfiles in another way? im just asking because i just listened to the sound files of the fw190 directly...and there i can listen to lots of details which seem to be just missing while beeing ingame.the soundfiles sound way more detailed and "stronger".really curious about that now...cause they sound awesome.
  21. in regards of the sounds its probably hard to judge correctly from a youtube video.but i tend to agree that the sounds i hear in that video do not remind me of a 109...to be honest when i first watched it today, it reminded me somehow of a sportscar. but its beta, and more importantly not even installed on my rig. so i wont judge just yet.lets wait and see...two more days!

  24. ...watching the start up vid now in a loop, i have to say that flare gun is worse than expected. i really hope ED does listen and if its not already the case, that it can be removed soon.
