  1. I've disabled the IPv6 DHCP on the router and TCP/IPv6 protocol on both PC's network adapters. IPConfig only shows up TCP/IPv4 addressing now. I am assuming that port 10308 is TCP and not UDP. I've never been able to see the server on the PC that is running it as the server was created from within DCS itself. I've tried connecting the client to the server via 1.1.1.2:10308 (As per the diagram) Still no joy. Address not available.
  2. Thanks for the replies! Both PC's have TCP/IP 4 and 6 protocols running. I am just now looking at setting up the IPv6 DHCP for the network.(All new to this IPv6 stuff.) Did have to add dcs.exe to the Server PC wirewall inbound rules. I cannot connect over LAN. Address unavailable errors.
  3. G'day, I have a second PC that I want to use for a dedicated Multiplayer DCS Server on my network while I fly as a Client with the main PC. The trouble is I cannot see the Server on the Public Server List to connect to and fly with my Client PC. Both the network PC's have the Windows firewall rules set to allow port 10308. The main router that they connect to the internet with has port 10308 open. I can fly on any open Public servers with the Client PC. Any help to get this going would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. The details... The Server PC has a free DCS Steam account (FRED) with Open Beta running only. (Caucasus and Su-25T). I want to run this server basic at the moment, so RALPH and SAM can join as they dont have any assets yet. The Client PC has full DCS World account - NON STEAM (GEORGE) running all assets. When FRED starts the server GEORGE cannot see the server. If GEORGE starts the server FRED cannot see it???
  4. +3 It would be great to be able to pre-configure the controllers so that it will be a sit in and fly on release. It takes a lot of effort to set up a full X-55 configuration. Not that the keys are going to change much from the press release version. The next couple of weeks are really going to drag and it would be better doing something productive.
  5. Very sorry to hear your dilemma with your X-55. They are are a great HOTAS. Is it possible to set it up on another computer to prove whether it is a brick or not? Did that with my stick when it bombed and found that a .sys file had corrupted and it was not a problem with the stick at all.
  6. Thank you for the frivolous google search. Not the best examples to support your argument on the 1-4 and 6 etc that ED got wrong according to what YOU see what-ever that is. Just as well they are not using your examples to back up your statement as reference. It is a shame really as I thought you had some bona-fide reference that is actual circa 1944 for the D to back up your statement that you might have shared. No matter. I think ED are getting it right. Using philips head screws for the bezel mounts and aged radium is another matter for discussion. But it is a work in progress :smilewink: .
  7. Wow, very interesting observation there Pato. Would you be kind enough to share your reference for the correct lettering? Where is it wrong?
  8. Absolutely outstanding work on the pit ED. Congrats to the team! Attention to detail is second to none!
  9. Would you be able to post a pic or give dimension of your setup please dburne? The minimum I could get for two sensors from a CV1 was 5ft with 4ft 3in between the two. Thanks.
  10. Apologies if it's already been mentioned before... Lots of reading to be done. How do you add your own programmed keystrokes to be included in the TX1: VHF AM voice command group for example? And so they only work on the TX1: button? The add new command in the Keywords Editor just refers to the plugin dll and not intuitive in adding keystrokes. Thanks.
  11. Sorry for necrotising the thread... In 2.5 there is no listing for a NWS key at all for the A-10A?
  12. Having time to read a bit more I think I am out of luck. No FC3 or CA for steam then.
  13. G'day, I have purchased a second copy of FC3 and CA modules a long time ago for my second PC running DCS standard. I have resurrected that old gaming PC and installed DCS Steam 2.5 on it to make it a multiplayer server. I want to install the FC3 and CA modules on it but when I direct the modules to the Steam install directories I get an error saying it is the wrong verion. Is there another steam version of these modules and how do I download them or can I use the original moduels? I have valid keys for the non-steam modules or do I now have to buy steam versions?
  14. I've revised the export.lua and I am now getting motion telemetry from all the modules. Still looking into the differences as some modules were working and others not.
  15. G'day, I've spent almost all of my time getting my g-seat working effectively with the F-15C in VR, and very happy with the results. (Waiting very patiently on the F/A-18C AND P-47 of course.) I have just now started flying the other modules in VR and I am not getting any telemetry from them? Is there a quick solution for getting this telemetry? Thanks.
  16. Thanks Chic, that was exactly what I was looking for, and more with the voice recognition.
  17. I have a microswitch connected up to this EJECT handle which runs through as a switch on an Arduino Joystick. I would like to only pull the handle once to activate the EJECT sequence in DCS rather than three times. I was thinking it would be an edit to an input LUA file but did not find anything, hence my question if anyone else has found a solution.
  18. G'day, I have an arduino joystick that works as a standard windows joystick. I have allocated and tested it as working in windows 10 as a device switch and it is to be used for the EJECT button in DCS. The EJECT keyboard press requires <CTRL + E> to be pressed three times to activate, however I need to press the joystick EJECT button ONLY ONCE to activate it, but this does not work. Before re-inventing the wheel, has anyone got the EJECT input to work on one activation? More so with an input rather than a keypress? Cheers,
  19. Found my old blank profile sheet while doing a heavy mod. Might be of use to someone? http://www.mediafire.com/file/3mbo0aaz1dxz192/X-55_profile_master_03_pub11.zip
  20. Excellent work Strut! I am sure you have seen this thread. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=191047&page=2 But for some reference...
  21. Excellent work there Snowsniper! Thank you for sharing the texture so that others can get the great effect for their liveries.
  22. That is the best res I could get after trawling through a whole mess of stuff at the Australian War Memorial website researching for the 457 liveries. The serials may be readable on the actual photos but that would mean a trip to Canberra. On a side note they have digitised the 457 squadron log book too, which is an interesting read. If I come across any Rotol WWII references I will definitely post here. (Lots of post war references as you know.)
  23. Agreed after looking into it further. Just for some reference.
  24. May be of some use?
