  1. Because you seem pretty knowledgeable in aircraft. Did you know the ground units use a Health meter? Yup. Call of Duty. Each aircraft bring something to the table. Try the su-25t, compared to the su-25. Now don't judge each plane vs another, but as a whole. One plane may have a EFM, but not a AFM; etc. This maybe still over your head- just remember its still in beta! "This game being unfair" i'd suggest you read a few post about Datalink or any other questions you may have. FYI there are some pretty smart, hands on BMFs around here. Good luck.

  4. I've when i watch a 120 going from data link to its active radar the missile will just pitch its nose around violently imo changing directions? pressing F6 watching them.
  5. Would be nice to fly in DK2. But i cannot understand Russian, nor read with DK2. Forced to play the 2d window box... ; ; Maybe once 2.0 is out and upgraded support for dk2 by then, this campaign could be playable for the dk2 ?

  7. only 3 activation's? Im really worried about that. I have a lot of modules and i have wasted activation's on updates before which i believe to be out of my control... Does ED have a good faith in re applying said key if all used? or is it a buy again, sorry you are out of luck? Yes i am aware you can deactivate... but like i said "stuff happens". and i think on my a10c module alone i may have 4 or 5 left >.>

  10. disregarding all the things that are wrong w/ missiles at the moment. But when watching the flight model of say the 120 would the AFM of the missile help at all in the sim? currently they do some chaotic things when flying towards targets.

  13. A-A mode is pointless. From what i have read/tried on it. It would be nice if someone could explain how to use it efficiently. Or even make a MOD that when A-A is selected it does what we would all hope and dream for as if HMCS would take over and some cool target acquisition 40km out. IT IS A GAME RIGHT?
  14. Not true. Switch back a few updates. You can get 60 deg. It was only recently cut. 1.27
  15. Aim-7's do their job in my playbook. Always take 2. 120c's inver to chaff great BVR. Nice PK once visual (trackIR zoomed). Aim7's Flood mode. Once visual (trackIR zoomed)., Added bonus if target is jamming, using their radar. 120b's Poor BVR, Good inside 10nm for maneuvering targets. accpt chaff. Now each russian missile is almost a counter part, just played differently. You could essentially make it a RPG with stats for these things. I did become alarmed when they made units (vehicles) with HP's..IMO. Good thing this game isnt like that.
  16. thanks for the new flares! ! People fail to understand how this whole process is going... You would have now a pretty good grasp on things if you followed since... 1.3. Atleast for me. Each plane has a certain aspect to it. Then AFM, EFM, ETC. came into play. Certain features were introduced then removed to not yet able to work w/ current engine as more bug fixes come. Changing back to old flares is not a option, but i degrees... Now refining the new ones, i'll patiently wait for the pros to decide.
  17. After killing all AAA threats, and having left over mavs. i will do exactly that. tms up short. Good to go. Now using TGP > CNTRL(top left OSB) > LATCH ON. Just get in the habbit of doing it. Starting to see a few post on the forums about this. This keeps the laser on until you turn it off. Next you will want to use the TGP to mark targets around 15m, not to far out or Mark Points(MP) will be off placement. So @30-20m just plan your attack. . . With the TGP create MP's once completed switch your NAV to MARK, now with DMS UP you can change MP's, Make left MFD TGP, right MFD MAV... you will launch mav's very fast^^

  19. :x dk2 must work different for each user. Because I can run the game at 1920, 3250x2??(4k), 5440x1080. When playing around this weekend I was able to see res populate in the dcs options on its own with 2 more @ 7kx1080. But had no effect in game and could not get the 7k res to work correctly. Point is still the same. Cannot read text. Cannot see visually very far at all. But the experience and every plane is amazing to now fly. ED can you help? Thanks in advance for all the hard work!!
  20. Try this out.... Extended mode open Screen Resolution.(right click on Desktop). Change DK2 screen size to 3840x2160 Once in game make DK2 display primary for mouse control. So far i have matched ingame resolution to 3840x2160 and still not able to see things off in the distance but looks improved. Any suggestions or does it feel the same as 1080, or 5440x1080 ? Now in beta i see option for even higher resolution!
  21. Did you know in dcs you can... Launch in tws x2 ET ER and get kills... Why are people using r's with locks anyways? I presumed they were used for jamming targets like aim7 flood. This is just how the game works and tested. No idea how they act IRL.
  22. what is more frustrating IMO is the guy that ejects instead of just going back to spectators....
