  1. Hi Well, you're tight. It's negative learning, but as far as the module is not complete I need some workarounds to get the job done! I also would add some things to my trick in order for it to work: you need to move the cursor around at least one time to get the boresight feature. Otherwise I can't make it to spiral down to the center. I didn't found that "make HUD SOI" necesary, but if you say so... Saludos Saca111
  2. Hi all. I'm asking if it is possible (or realistic) to add a little feature to the STPT (ICP button 4) menu, so when you dubber right to set steerpoint select to AUTO, a letter "A" appears next to the steerpoint number, so you know you're in AUTO mode. Nothing else but thanks to all the team. Saludos Saca111
  3. Hi falconbr. Sorry for the question but I did you got to have the AGM65 on thr F16? I`ve tryed all the combinations and no luck! Maybe it is a mod, but could you link to it! Saludos Saca111
  4. Hi men. Back to the thread title, I found a way to "boresight" the TGP: 1 TGP as SOI 2 Cursor Zero 3 Push Override pushbutton on TGP MFD (PB 4, I think), wich turns TGP Off 4 Push override again to turn TGP On. The TGP box in the HUD should spiral in to boresight position and then it is posible to move the TGP box/aim point to the desired place. Saludos Saca111 P.S. I talking from memory, might be some errors, but I think it's roght.
  5. More on the topic. Did some more trying and: The above said is true but found what's next. HMCS on, DGF on, put the oval over the right eyebrow of the plane, turned HMCS off. TMS up and put the plane where the oval was and I get a lock where the oval was. TMS DOWN!!! and the FCR enters "true" boresight mode, it will lock where the cross is. Another TMS DOWN and FCR enters vertical mode, as normal. If I press TMS UP I enter the "special" boresight mode, where the radar locks at the oval, not the cross. So, to get the radar to be back on the cross, after a lock do TMS DOWN once, and then you'll get the cross to aim.
  6. Again... With HMCS on when looking trough the HUD, the oval is in front of you, more or less at same point where the cross is pointing, so no problem, radar will lock the same. Problems begin when you obscur the HMCS with the oval away from boresight, then the radar will attempt a lock at the oval. IF HMCS is on but obscured, at bore mode the radar will try to lock at oval's position, not at the cross, and it doesn't matters if the oval is visible or not, radar will follow it. Turn it off with the knob and then the cross will be again your aiming point. Saludos. Saca111 Edit 1 You're right! the radar will try and lock at the last oval position. The reason why I was having different result is that I turned the HMCS off loocking forward, so the oval is pointing in the same directions the cross is... So, a possible workaround is to turn the JMCS off looking to the HUD, and the boresight will work as "supposed". Keep in mind that if HMCS is ON but obscured, your looking position will be the radar lock. Nice thread, I learned a lot, Thanks. Bye Saca111
  7. Hi men. Sorry, I must desagree. I've been condicting tests, and I found that if HMCS is off (with the knob, not with DMS dwn), the cross is where the radar will look, independently of where the oval was at the moment of turning the HMCS off. If you just did DMS dwn to obscur the oval, then yes, the radar is still slaved to the oval and will try to lock at the oval's position. Saludos Saca111
  8. Hi Skyblazer. You are right! After some time, HUD and TGP will be completelly disconnected. Doing cursor zero and override won't correlate them properly, but will "restore" normal behavior to the TGP if it gets "confused", like no cross on it, or pointing somewhere else way way off side, and you can't recover it, because HUD box is to the left (for example) and TGP is actually pointing 90º roght (true history), then C.Z. and OVRR should do the trik and place the HUD box boresighted. Then it's iposible to move it around, even though there will be some offset between the Box and the TGP position, but small enough to overcome the problem and find your TOO anb bomb it. Salute. Saca111
  9. Hi again gentelmen. More trials and I found that: TGP works fine, is the HUD who is not ok. TMS down now do "cursor Zero" wich is placing the TGP (not the HUD) to the actual steerpoint. Now you need (most of the time) TMS right or up to enter point track or area track and be able to slew it around. If the TGP looks messed up, do TMS down to cursor zero (use and abuse this feature, the trick of TGP is cursor zero). If you want to boresight the TGP, C.Z and then press PB 4 (OVERRIDE) to put TGP off, then pressit again to restart it and the TGP should just spiral down to the bore position!. Hope it's clear enough. B good! Saca111
  10. Hi again. Did some trials and: If HMCS is off (knob CCW), all happens as supposed. TMS up and place the plane close to the cross and Voilà. If HMCS is on, and independently of if it is visible or not, the Radar will try to lock in the position where the oval is (or would be). If you are looking way over the HUD and you place the cross over the plane, no lock at all will occur. If you try to place (virtually or really) the oval over the target, and the oval would be more or less where the cross is, you will get that llock. HMCS or not HMCS, that is the question! Saludos Saca111
  11. He everybody. Just try without the HMCS. Turn it off. Not just DMS down to stop showing on hte helmet, I mean turn the knob off (completely CCW). Switch Dogfight mode on, TMS up once and place the plane close to the cross. Automatoc lock will inmediatly happen. Cheers. Saca111
  12. Adding some info... I've been doing some trials, and what is apparently wrong is the up/down movement of the Hud TDC box. Azimuth looks ok (more or less). It's like the correclation factor between distance and up/down in the HUD is not correct. I had the hope, after reading the changelog that this bug was corrected, but to my dispointment it's not. Nevermind, the update is quite significant and I apreciate the upgrade. Thanks again and keep on doing good stuff! Salute, Saca111
  13. Hi Benson I agree with U, it has changed: When U press TMS dwn, it Zeroes to the steerpoint, and most of the time it gets stuck in this place, no corsor movement. Sinply press TMS up or rgt and it will change to Point track or Area track and then you will be able to move around no problem. Cheers, Saca111
  14. Same here! I was about to post the same, with pictures. I thought that this last patch was correcting that bug, but nope! I found the pics...
  15. Hi DOUM. Are you using the correct Comm key for transmitting. I mean, you should have bound a key or a joy button to comm 1 and to comm2 in order to talk trough those radios.Look in the setup options and verify this. Cheers, Saca111
  16. Hi! Downloaded. Will try it this weeckend, nice! Saca111

  18. Sorry, can't manage to insert a picture! working on it!
  19. Hi again Deliverator. I made a fast schematic on how I vould connect the gear you want. Take not that I haven't put all the switches nor the rotarys, I made an example on how they should go... Also: * I suggest you connect all the "columns" via a diode (1N4148), with the negative( the side with the strip) pointing towards the button, not the board. 1 Diode per button. Consider the extrem connections of the switches/rotarys a button. * Set as much "Rows" an "column" buttons in serial as you can, so you will save a lot on wiring, and that's is a good advice, believe me! * In the example, I only connected the bare minimum for your needs. For more connections, simply follow the logic of the circuit. If you don't see the logic, just tell me and Il be glad to help.
  20. Hi, Deliverator. Your needs are perfectly reachable with Overpro's CVP Joystick. Indeed, you ll have a lot of non used buttons or joy axes free! Give me some time and I ll try to do a Fritzing example for your needs. Cheers, Saca111
  21. Hi. Sooooo, there is no real life integration between NS and Radios or Nav...???!!! Ok, nice to know, I'll stop dreaming at it, then... Anyways, I love it as it is, thanks again for the good job. A. "Sacarino111" Petrovic
  22. Same here! After a few minutes I felt I couldn't fly any more without it! BUT, But but...it is still a pitty there is no integration with the radios/nav. The lack of this feature make its use almost "cosmetic", allthough I still love it!; what is the point of geting the freqs on the NS430 if after that you have to dial it on the radios? It's almost uselessas you have F10 map options, but in any case it's a great upgrade, makes the plane look cooler (badass) and did I said that I love it? As allways, Aviodev is showing profetionalism and love for the job well done, congrats! P.S. By the way, a lot of keybindings went to hell with this last update. I saw there is a kind of standard names and so, and I hope there won't be much of that changes, as it took me almost all afternoon to rebind things, even tough I had all the joy profiles saved, but there where useless. IN any case, the module is more complete at coherent this way. Cheers Saludos y enhorabuena de nuevo, gran módulo. A. "Sacarino111" Petrovic
  23. Well Aunty, not that bad, then! I suggest you forget all about it, as it works, When you get to the stage of plugin buttons and aother stuff, fell free to ask, if needed.
  24. By the way... Does it work? Maybe you got that message but it's working just fine
