HI For me, the F-16 is more intuitive than the Hornet. Every time I spend on the Viper and then go for the Hornet, I find myself in bad mud due to the systems and the HOTAS, while the oposite is true; when back to the Viper, I feel more "at home", like things are again easy and straight forward. I can't help that feeling, but again, it is my personal feeling. Obviously, the F-18 has this naval operations, wich are something really superb. So, follow your heart... Saludos Saca111

Hi. The first thing I can imagine is to check that they are correctly bound to the function itself. Check the options tab/controls for that. Other thing is to make sure there is no "modifiers" o "interruptors" set. Last one, do a repair or a "file integrity" if on Steam. Saludos. Sca111

Hi. Make sure you don't have those buttons mapped to something else as NS430 or General UI layer or similar. I had that issue and it took some time to understand the issue. Even if you did not bind them, they may have been bound automatically by DCS... Saludos. Saca111

Hi @Dallas88B I use to delette those folders after an update, and yes, first time starting DCS is slower, but it is not about that what I am talking about. It is in general. DCS is slower to start and missions take much longer to load, and once in the cockpit it is also slower to load all textures, IMO. I guess DCS is getting more complicated and complex. Saludos. Hi. After some trys,I found that the first atempt to get the elipse do not work, but after the second TMS up, the thing works "normal"; the elipse apears, and If I manage to place the elipse over the target and release TMS the radar will lock, although it take some time, so much that sometimes I think it did not work so I repeat the procedure another time, or many times until lock. Can't tell if that is a correct behaviour, but that is what I found. Saludos. Saca111

Hi. Well yes, DCS eats a lot of disk space. Indeed, I have it on a second SSD (500GB), and I am planing on dumping it on a 1TB SSD so the future maps can fit! Yhay a hole 1 TB SSD just for DCS! Besides that, I suggest you install DCS in a second SSD (if posibble), and use the main one just for Windows and system things. Saludos. Saca111

Hi and wellcome to the DCS world! First get all the peripheral mastered. You will find DCS is the best in peripheral setup and config... it takes some time to understand all the possibiities at you hand...I recomend HOTAS +rudder (with toe brakes) + Track Ir or similar as a minumum. Once this is done, and depending on your preferences, get a plane of your dream (F-16, F-14) in the free trial period and get a glance of it (be wise and use the 50% sale for new buyers). After that, hide your wallet/credit card in a safe place so your wife controls it and resist the temptation of buying a new plane every two weeks or when frustrated with difficulties or bugs. Try to learn a plane deeply before jumping to another one. Don't be shy about multiplayer; try to join a squadron with a Discord channel and fly with them. There are a lot of people out there willing to teach others, as well there also are some "true to life" groups that don't like unexperienced pilots. If you browse this forum, every few days you will find some squadron recruiting and some of them accept non advanced pilots, so have a try. The rest is up to you. Enjoy! Saludos. Saca111

Hi. I only have 2 MFD's, but I remember there is a way in the device config to select the number of the MFD, so the LEDs show the mfd in question: left MFD is MFD 1 Right MFD is for MFD 2, and so on... Not sure, but it may help. Saludos. Saca111
