_______________________MIRAGE_QUESTION : LWin + Home Have not flown the jets in quite awhile >>> years! I am currently learning the Mirage. Looks like the Start-Up cheat for the Mirage is not allowed on the Blue Flag server. I crash every time when the parking brake gets set to on. I have to restart DCS. So, is autostart not allowed for the jets ? Looks like I will be learning to do the startup procedure by checklist, longhand.

3rd party aircraft / copters are not ready for prime time when released and usually not really ready for 2 years after release. And I have most of the current inventory. So, get the Mirage. I have it and got it at release date. I am pretty much a copter guy and WWII era fanatic. I am just recently, seriously getting into using the Mirage. With copters I like playing on the 104th and Blue Flag servers in Multiplayer and will be using the Mirage there, soon.

In Windows 7 (C: ) Where does the airport runway pages reside in the kneeboard for the Mirage? I don't have Windows 10, yet. In case no replies via Windows 7, where does this file (these files) reside ?

Yep, what he said. And what base we are at doing so... I switched to Blue Flag. 104th needs some changes made.

First time wee hours this morning playing your server several times out in Mi-8 via Red. SRS Channel 126 was listening to guys wrongly using the term "buddyspike" military jargon. Don't think so. Might work with another Ka-50. I never attempted it. Ask same question and/or do a search to the Ka-50 forum. Question has been asked previously.

Yes. Ka-50's ABRIS will usually show where FARPs are, flying out and about, but not always. Maverick (I think) keeps embellishing and updating the map with new stuff.

I compared Mi-8 to the Blue Flag server and how Ciribob does his. I will be playing his server a whole lot more with Mi-8. Does not look to me that 104th allows the KORD machine guns at all. Mi-8 has built in defensive measures to use in game against the dam F-15s and others and 104th does not allow their use. May just be oversight as I doubt most 104th guys play Red very often and Mi-8 is not used to its full capabilities. Or Blue just likes easy targets to shoot at. Should make both sides equal capabilities as to weapons use OR just fly Blue (in my case).

This thread, various posts will tell you where the FARPs are. On Red side I flew out to the general area in my copters and found their locations. Then I got thinking >>> Easiest way is to switch sides, grab a Blue copter and checkout each FARP's location via your F10 map and take notes for future reference. No need to fly out and about. Just spawn where they are. If you fly Blue usually, fly Red. I have all 4 copters. Other way is to search this forum by doing specific searches. If you are into using the editor, research Reaper6 as to how he looks at Mustang's missions.

Have been watching the YouTube oldies like, "What's My Line?' . I just barely remember this stuff having been born in 1951. What a joy to see the older cream of the crop actors of before my generation as guests. YouTube has lots of old TV shows and some Broadway shows. My Sony TV screen has WiFi capability off my Internet feed. And nowadays do not suffer lousy frame rates like just a few years ago. Current TV programming from Spectrum service, all 5,000 channels >>> damn! nothing much on that interests me. I like the oldies stuff.

Usually fly Ka-50 on 104th's OpenBeta server. I can fly through the power lines without suffering any damage to my copter. No biggie; just saying. Now, the power lines to the railroad trolley tracks do cause damage.

I fly the copters... Anything DCS does is OK with me. Currently DCS is the only game/sim I play.
