  1. From this news, clearly SC was developed for pleasing the MP perspective. Saying it “can’t be done” while in its current state allowing the AI to graciously collide into the player while starting on the six pack speaks volume. Very disappointing.   2. I’m always pulling my hair out with the Viking and refueling. It seems like the contact criteria for the basket has been set like docking for space shuttle. It’s the same result with the F14, 18, and AV8. The basket for the Viking clearly don’t have the same physical parameters as the KC130 or the MPRS. Please.... I’m begging.... Lots of mission builders/campaign builders use this unit and I can’t contact with the S-3, yet the other two units I have no issues at all.   5. What am I doing wrong on ins alignment? If the ODA is blank, try turning it on. There are knobs for turning on radios 1 and 2. Knob to turn on UFC displays is to the right of the main UFC display. Turn the knob to full bright. I’ve come across this before and this was my mistake. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  7. This is the point of my post, the procedure you just described is correct in it’s entirety. However, my point was what if a player didn’t follow what you just described. It seems you can land the Viper like the Hornet without penalty, which to me is not realistic. I even did a more drastic measure of beginning flare 200, 400 feet above the runway. The Hornet @ 200’, without surprise rolled away without a scrape. Viper, the same not even a blown tire for both. @400’ Hornet had severe damage to tail from me trying to limit as much forward velocity as possible. Viper exploded on impact. This does raise some question as to how accurate is the damage model for the Viper going to be? Is it going to be a copy/paste of Hornet or will it be realistic and be accurate to its own limitations? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Structural damage/hard landings I see. So damage is implemented for tire separation, but not for anything else. Yet? I’m surprised the Hornet is so deep in development that these items are yet to be implemented. (Shrug) Funny how the recent roadmap doesn’t even mention this for the Hornet.   10. Granted, EA, but it seems like both the Hornet and Viper invincible when it comes to poor airmanship. Currently you can pancake the Viper in a stall starting at 200’ above the runway with no recourse. Not even a blown tire. I imagine the Hornet may be a bit forgiving, but when doing these drastic tests, it seems like the simulation of damage is far from over. Has anyone else had different result?   11. Last I heard about this function being implemented (February), it was incomplete and I haven’t seen any news if it’s still being worked on or abandoned.   12. The problem is with statics in place, the cat crew will still be in place for that catapult regardless. Also randomly AI will attempt to use it without consequence. Again, this is examples of why Super Carrier needs to give us options. It seems this module is a fancy straight jacket. No parking selection, can’t disable catapults, just take it or leave it.   13. To satisfy my own curiosity, if it’s best to use standalone (which I do), then why did ED decide to offer DCS World on Steam? I can see if it was maybe an attempt to increase their base of players, but now it seems like it only is going to create a divide with how Valve is infrequent to sales and promos from ED.   15. Yeah. No way that is “fixed”. I do a STO on Tarawa and it registers several hits while rolling down the tram line. Also holding the brakes for static takeoff makes you break your nose gear.   16. Roll Trim I see what you’re saying. It’s a shame since Nick Grey has been speaking nothing but praises and hopes to right the wrong on other platforms of communication. I guess it’s correct to whatever ED wishes it to be. I can understand weapon systems and classified information to be stopped short of what the jet can actually do, but to just stop short of accurate roll trim? Come on. (I misunderstood what you meant.   18. I know this is WIP and way from complete, but the roll trim just doesn’t seem correct. In its current state it seems impossible to trim to zero roll rate. The jet flys like the resolution of the trim deflection is too high. Meaning instead of adjusting to a .01 of a degree it’s correcting to a .25 or maybe even .5 of a degree. Granted I am no viper driver nor ever was, but I would find it laughable the DOD would be accepting a jet that can’t null roll because of stores being carried.   21. Right engine won't start. I found something similar to what you described that I can duplicate. Clearly there is something causing the aircraft state from previous sessions migrate to the next.   23. Humor aside, as of update dated 6/10/2020, the AI Mig-25s are unbreakable and will not crash. Both myself and an AI wingman have shot different weapons and they will not die and keep flying.   24. A minor issue with the cold start mission. Some reason the flight comms are working on the carrier channel. I’m able to tell wingman formation commands on Ch 1 which is set to 127.50. But when I use radio 2 ch 1 set to 305.00, wingman doesn’t respond. Sounds like the frequency for my flight is set incorrectly. This is the SC - Cold Start mission on PG map.
