I definitely would want it, personally however I wish ED to concentrate on more significant European theatre aircraft before moving on to others.

That is irrelevant. This is a WWII thread, the Korean war was predominately a jet war.

The sea fury is more than a navy version of the Tempest II it also a development from the Tempest II. Tornado > Typhoon > Tempest > Sea Fury

Sure, I can appreciate why however the role of the Typhoon was significantly greater historically speaking, after the Spitfire IX it was the most numerous RAF aircraft in the 2nd TAF... It is a much maligned aircraft and at the start perhaps deservedly so, however it would be nice if ED could reproduce the aircraft to a sufficient level of detail as to confirm and/or perhaps blow away the negative vibe that plagued the aircraft. Sure it was a terrible interceptor above 20, 000ft however it forged a path for itself before Normandy countering the 190 and as a close support bomber was required during Normandy and beyond proving itself a very capable airframe. I would dearly love to see ED and co bring them both to life!

I am not sure where you are getting 10kmh from, perhaps against the P-51 but unless I am much mistaken the Spitfire can achieve a max level speed of 410mph whilst the K4 can achieve 440mph (not sure what the max is in DCS currently) so it a whopping 30mph (48kmh) faster which IS humongous. Please enlighten me if I am wrong, my GPU has been down for a while now and I can't recall exactly what speeds can be achieved.

I was only mentioning the fact that it wasn't the only 109 on the front line to make a point, I wasn't implying that that we shouldn't have the K4 because it wasn't the most common 109. That said the K4, Spitfire XIV and Tempest did nothing really to determine the outcome. The spitfire XIV and Tempest arrived way before the K4 but in small numbers. However I have to disagree with you on the speed yes it may not sound like a huge amount but speed is life and 20-30 mph (kmh... Can't recall precisely) is actually a HUMONGOUS advantage to the K4. The K4 speed means that really it can dictate everything in a dogfight as long as the pilot/pilots have patience.

The G6 was a good aircraft. The K4 is completely historically out of place with the map and assets we currently have. Even at the end of the war the K4 wasn't the most common 109. And ironically you miss the point entirely, given that the Tempest and spitfire XIV were both flying before the K4 and were more than a match performance wise. So yes, my point still stands.... The current lineup is skewed un-historically in favour of the K4 and we need the G6/G14 to change that simple FACT

B-17 and the Lancaster would get my vote. Unfortunately I doubt we will have a map that would satisfy its range.

See... And Yo-Yo posted some pictures of research into the Me262 recently but I am struggling to find it as it was in the Russian area IIRC

Ridiculous statement, the Spitfire and P-51 pilots could say the same thing about the current lineup, why bother flying against the K4... Saying G6 covers a large range of aircraft, a late version G6 and or G14 would be fit for Normandy and other theatres maps

Okay guys, you chaps are being goaded. DCS clearly don't believe that they need to change the 109 so he is just trying to stir up a fuss here. We all know it so don't rise to it. The whole thing is quite ironic given that the K4 is an absolute beast even without the rare features that could be implemented.

The saying the "G" covers a wide range of types, not particularly fair to take what Yo-Yo said out of context. I assume he was saying that the K4 and G14 are essentially the same aircraft?
