In the real thing, both the cannon and rockets are fired from the same control (almost.)
I'm trying to replicate the same thing with my joystick by having both the gun fire and weapon release controls on the trigger but the game wont let me... Which I find odd since you cannot use both at the same time.
The Su-27 in FC3 has 1 control for both the gun and missiles so I don't see why it isn't possible with the Shark.
Is there a way around that? Is it possible somehow to have the cannon and weapon pickle on the same button?
Just curious to know which aircraft people like to fly most in FC3. Personally I prefer the Su-27 the most. I tried getting into the F-15 but just can't seem to enjoy it as much as its Russian counterparts.
My X52's hall sensor went bad just a little before I got my X55. I contacted Saitek to try and get a replacement sensor but they are either unable or unwilling to send (or sell) me a replacement. Does anyone know if and where I can get a replacement hall sensor?
Did you try switching weapons (D)? Or activate the radar, lock a target and try to fire?
Post a track if you can, that might help to understand your problem.
Is it possible to get subtitles for the b****ing betty of the Su-27 when using Russian cockpits option? I like the realism of having a Russian betty calling out warnings but the problem is I don't understand a word she's saying. Kind of defeats the purpose...
Does anyone what HOTAS controls are on the SU-27's throttle and stick? I'm trying to make a profile as close to real life as possible but I simply can't find any information on the plane's controls. Any help would be very appreciated.
Let me elaborate, it didn't arrive broken or anything, its not because of the packaging or the transport (at least I doubt it.) The throttle is fine but the joystick's axes are very laggy and none of the buttons work. Seems to me like I got a lemon.
I'm curious to know if anyone who got a shipment notice actually got theirs? I too received an e-mail and tracking said the delivery date was yesterday the 17th but no joy...
I would like to create a dogfight mission for the P-51 where an enemy plane spawns once I get near a specific point and once its destroyed, spawn another one at another location with increasing difficulty (# of planes and AI skill etc.) Similar to the dogfight missions in IL-2 BoS. Can it be done?
Can't wait to fly the Jug in DCS. I've been flying A2A's P-47 in the mean time. Learning how the turbo supercharger works and how to use it is fascinating (being one of the only WWII aircraft I know of that used this type of system.) I also like how everything is so much more manual then the P-51, I like to be in complete control of every aspect of my ship. Hopefully the Thunderbolt in DCS WWII will be as good as the Mustang.
