I was struggling with dogfighting at first but I thought "meh its just an old soviet cold war plane, i didn't expect any more of it." Then I started understanding how to actually fly it properly and of my god, this thing is incredible! I can see how it can get the best of even an F-15 in a close battle... This thing can fight!

I noticed when dialing an ark station that is out of range and with the radio in normal radio mode (so you don't hear the morse code) that when the station gets in range, you can hear white noise through the radio just like if it was in compass mode. Switching to compass mode you can then hear the morse code for that station. I imagine its a bug?

A toggle button for the mirror would be nice too. I usually fly with mirrors off because of the FPS hit but would like to turn it on for landings to make sure my chute deploys and jettisons.

Yeah that. Sorry, I thought it was radar range. Just got back from work, haven't even flown the thing yet! :megalol:

I noticed while mapping the controls to my stick that there was no axis for TDC up/down. I was going to assign it to one of the rotaries on my throttle. Is there plans to add it in the future?

I would personally say no. At least wait for the completed version. For now it seems that the producers have forgotten about it and not much online servers have them. It doesnt even have a manual after a year which is a must for such a complex bird.

For me, the Dora really isn't that hard to land, the challenge for me really is taking off. If your approach is good and you don't try to land with too much airspeed, its really not that hard to control. ... Except for crosswind landings. Those are a b*tch.
