Just wondering if anyone is working on an English cockpit mod? It would make everything so much simpler.

From the quickstart guide:

Do you have the control helper option ticked under the Mi8 special section of the option menu? I was wondering the same at first and noticed I had control helper on.

TBH I would just like it to be gone (puts on flame suite.) It sort of limits the view out of the cockpit.

I was this close to buying the Mi-8 when it was released as a beta but decided to wait for the final version this time for several reasons. Just wondering if someone had an approximate ETA for the final version release. Not looking for a specific date or anything, just an approximate idea.

KennethBF: The problem is, you need force feedback pedals for the rudder trim to make sense or else you have to recenter your pedals every time you trim. The Huey has the option to remove trim for the pedals, why can't the Mi-8 have that feature? EDIT: Dr-Arrow: Any idea if its possible to use the FFB option with a non-FFB stick?

The brakes on the Mi-8 are mounted on the stick. Its a lever you pull.

Does that mean we'll have an English cockpit as well? :D

I heard that, like the Ka-50 (if we forget about the autopilot for a second) when you hit the trim button, it trims both the stick and the pedals and you have to recenter both of them. In the Huey, you have the option to disable the rudder trim so you don't have to recenter the pedals every time you trim.

Unlinking pedals from trim control would be great English cockpit would be nice as well

Just wondering if it was considered OK to resell DCS modules on the classified forums? I have a few I don't use anymore and thought it might help some people that don't have a big budget for sims. Any thoughts?
