Just press and hold the middle mouse button while in mouse view mode.

Just found out something that could be very useful to people without TrackIR. If you double click the mouse wheel, you enter mouse view mode... No more alt + c. Hope this wasn't known by everyone and I'm just late to the party :music_whistling: But more importantly, I hope this will help some people.

I might be wrong but I think higher video memory helps in games like DCS. I have a GTX 560 Ti at 1gb and a friend of mine just bought a GTX 660 at 2gb. The rest of our systems are very similar but he seems to run the game much smoother then I am.

Did the A-10A even have PAC? I always thought that was one of the improvements in the C version.

Or simply fire in short bursts. Works great with the Su25(A)

I don't know if Falcon was sarcastic or not but I personally never really thought of it the way you said. Now that I think of it, it can't be close air SUPPORT if you're not actually SUPPORTING anyone. It is rather difficult to communicate with the game AI most of the time, though (yes I play mostly offline.)

Fair mistake haha :thumbup: To OP: If you have a dual stage trigger with only 1 stage programmed, you could set the first stage to continuously dispense as you're running in on the target and then manually dispense on egress (as you might need more flares to distract from your exhaust.)

I just see it as focusing on a certain point. Its a way to compensate as it would be much easier to spot these things IRL. I had good luck flying at the FEBA and scanning around the enemy territory. Unfortunately, all I found were M1A2s and those are a ***** to take down! I guess I just wasn't willing to get low and dirty enough :lol:

I thought the Su-25 (non-T) didn't have IR jamming... Unless that's not what you meant?

I do use the zoom function a lot. Set on one of my joystick's axis. Do you stay at the forward edge of the battle area or actually fly over the enemy territory?

I may be blind but it seems we did not get as much info on the Mi-8 as we did the with Huey before it was released... Still, I'm very excited for this one :D

Out of curiosity, what is your graphics set at?

I admit, its been a while I've flown a CAS plane. I've been flying the Huey for a bit and back when I was flying the A-10, I use to heavily rely on JTAC so I'm somewhat out of practice when it comes to finding targets visually. Any tips? I'm interested in anything that can help me spot targets better (including graphical setting suggestions (running on 1920x1080 at medium with x2 MSAA.))
