  1. Guess we're too far ahead in our training, guys. No one is at the Rb15's yet ;)
  2. Latest version of my HOTAS setup
  3. Only way I found so far is to input the long/lat coordinates manually
  4. I was flying some anti ship missions with a friend online. We were using Rb15's and after firing the first pair we RTB'd to reload. Back on station I couldnt set the Bx8 waypoint in front of my plane on the radar screen I guess it was still at the previous location... Is there any way to reset the Rb15's Bx waypoints back to the front of the plane like the first time you set it up?
  5. I was flying with a friend online doing the Hunting the Hunters coop mission and had a crash 2 times after about 30 minutes of flying. Each time happened randomly as I was just flying normally. Here is what the crash report writes: # -------------- 20170205-210654 -------------- F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 9DCA2C72 00:00000000 00000000 00000000 0000:00000000 9DCA2C72 FE86F4D0 0000:00000000 F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll 9DC9E9BD FE86F530 0000:00000000 F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll 9DC9EA44 FE86F580 0000:00000000 F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll 9DC9E924 FE86F5D0 0000:00000000 F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll 9DCA099E FE86F630 0000:00000000 F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll 9DC95A40 FE86F850 0000:00000000 F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll 9DCA3507 FE86F890 0000:00000000 F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll 9DC9BDC9 FE86F8F0 0000:00000000 F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll 9DC9B632 FE86F930 0000:00000000 F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll 9DCA4DCC FE86F980 0000:00000000 F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll 9DCA3FE3 FE86F9B0 0000:00000000 F:\Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\bin\AJS37-Avionics.dll C11DD24C FE86F9F0 0000:00000000 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCP120.dll ?_Release@_Pad@std@@QEAAXXZ()+6C C1274F7F FE86FA20 0000:00000000 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCR120.dll _beginthreadex()+107 C1275126 FE86FA50 0000:00000000 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCR120.dll _endthreadex()+192 CE568364 FE86FA80 0000:00000000 C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNEL32.DLL BaseThreadInitThunk()+14 D03B70D1 FE86FAD0 0000:00000000 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll RtlUserThreadStart()+21 EDIT: running a repair fixed the problem
  6. The stuttering happens in low or high settings although a bit less when in low. I guess its time to cash out on a new gpu then
  7. Only AG ordinance mixing I think is possible is gun pods with rb75 or rb05
  8. What altitude is level release usually employed at?
  9. Hey guys, but of an update. The stuttering has gone down a bit after a few patches but still get the occasional little hickups. It usually happens when I turn my view in a new direction when first starting a mission or when firing a certain weapon for the first time. It also happens when making a violent maneuver or on touchdowns when landing. I'm guessing my graphics card might be the culprit here. I've been slowly upgrading my PC part by part but been putting off changing the GPU for a while now. I'm just worried to spend all that dough on a 1060 6gb and have the same stutters. Thoughts?
  10. I dont remember seeing a video from xxJohnxx about level bombing?
  11. Having the same issue. Still WIP?
  12. If I might add a suggestion: Adding the warning pages from the manual might be useful. I often have to look in the manual to figure out the warnings on the left and right panels.
  13. Just added the text manually on paint.
  14. Here is mine. Feel free to try it out and change whatever you dont like. LUA files included (drop in saved games/dcs.openbeta/config/input/ajs37/joystick.) It does require funkyfranky's switch mod (found here) to work, though. 15. "Grays Missions Updated" are basically just updated versions of the same "Moscow Takedown" and "Mozdok Attack" missions that we already have with the released version of the Viggen?
  16. Yes please I think this is the only way the AI wingmen could ever be useful with the Viggen. Another option would be to add a command to drop bombs at the same time the flight lead does but that may be asking too much.
  17. I've done that but unfortunately it doesnt seem to work for me. Probably not compatible with the Viggen yet?
  18. Sorry to hijack your thread a bit but has anyone had any luck with the automatic initial fix? (EI not using the referance button.) Its suppost to be able to do the initial fix automatically when taking off but every time I've tried that I got a Nav Syst warning meaning the initial fix didnt work...
  19. Holy crap thats a lot of additional controls! Usually people just make a few of those and call it a day. Rep inbound my friend!
  20. Has anyone been able to get some of the manual pages in the kneeboard yet? I was able to convert some of the pages to JPG but no metter where I place them they will not appear in the Viggen's kneeboard
  21. ^ Point taken but I will not discuss this any further. My point was made you can chose to disagree with it. This thread has derailed far enough I think.
  22. Sorry if this was asked before (couldnt find anything) but is there a way to install SR in an open beta version of DCS (1.5.6 in this case?) Im sure theres a way but I just couldnt figure it out.
  23. Again, my point had absolutely nothing to do with scoring. There could be servers filled with people flying the Mirage and having the same scores as with an F-15 and that would be fine. The point is that you have a bunch of fully simulated aircraft in the game and then theres a couple of them that has no system simulation and simplified combat simulation in the mix. It makes no sense to me. The point of the simulator is to SIMULATE flying a real jet with all the systems to work in a combat environment. Just try to imagine if DCS didnt exist before today and they released it today with all the modules as is including the FC3 planes. They'd have all these planes that require studying the manual, practicing with it and putting a lot of hours in in order to be proficient with... Oh and theres a few of them that just require a few key presses and your airborn, ready to shoot at anything flying. How do you think people would react about that? FC3 is great, I like to fly them from time to time, its a bit like IL2 Sturmovik, that game also doesnt have much systems simulated and no clickable cockpit and I enjoy that game also. But Like IL2, FC3 should've stayed its own game. Heck they even could've added more FC3 type planes, that would be really nice and I would definitely play both games. Anyways I've spent to much time arguing my point over the years. Just my opinion, take it or leave it.
  24. Heres what i have so far. Its just the basics for now but I might update this later once I've come to grips with the Viggen. Few notes: I use rudder pedals so no controls for brakes or rudder but the paddle switch would do great for brakes. I used the "three position" radar mode buttons to set on the boat switch so the middle position is A1 Having the fix buttons on the pinky then the cms switch was the best alternative I could think of other then losing the trigger to that function (which i just couldnt get myself to do.) I've included the controls LUA files if you dont want to bind these controls yourself. You might need to rename these to your current LUA file names in yoir saved games/dcs.openbeta/config/input/ajs37 folder to keep the same identification codes.
