Not a question of MP scoring, I just dont believe they should be in the same servers. I find it unfair that someone that had to go through a 30 min start, setup their weapon systems, configure their countermeasures etc get engaged by a player that just pressed a key and went airborn in 30 seconds looking for targets to shoot on the radar without even having to worry if they forgot to turn something on or whatnot. I think it would've been best if they kept DCS and FC3 seperated. But of course thats just my opinion, you dont have to agree with it.

Actually ive said for years that fc3 planes dont have their place with the full simulated planes. They should be on servers of their own, not mixed in with the fully simmed aircraft.

Ill be posting the first draft of my Warthog setup after work if anyone is interested.

It is for the most part. Ive done it for nearly every module Ive prepurchased so far. Sent from my XT1563 using Tapatalk

Anyone lucky enough to have an early copy of the Viggen kind enough to take a screenshot of the stick amd throttle controls so we can start planning our button mapping on our HOTAS? ;) Sent from my XT1563 using Tapatalk

That wasnt my point. I was referring to the attitude of the player, not the tactics. Still, point taken. Sent from my XT1563 using Tapatalk

I usually kept it on in case of important information or someone communicating target locations and whatnot. I've been closing it most of the time now, though.

I stopped playing DCS on multiplayer for a few months and I've been starting to get back into it and in the past month I've noticed more and more players writing immature comments in the game chat, complaining about deaths and insulting other player, shooting down ground attack aircraft and thinking theyre all pro and boasting about it in the chat etc... Where is this influx of young immature kids coming from? Its starting to look like Call of Duty out there! I guess it was unavoidable considering the popularity DCS is gaining (specially since it started selling on Steam.) Has anyone else noticed?

I like to fly on both mp and sp. I especially had the campain in mind. Sent from my XT1563 using Tapatalk

Guess I'll keep flying solo then. I have a feeling the AI will be utterly useless in the Viggen.

TM Warthog unresponsive switch on first try
IonicRipper replied to IonicRipper's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
That must be it then. Hopefully this will be fixed in the distant future. I know ED have a LOT on their plate right now. -
I wish they would add an option in the comms menu to have your wingman follow you in close and drop their bombs on target at the same with as you to really recreate a proper Viggen strike. Otherwise they will be useless! Thoughts?

Ralfidude - DCS AJS 37 Viggen strike package
IonicRipper replied to RaXha's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
I was thinking the same thing when I saw it. Had to rewind the video a few times! -
If it wasnt for the shadow I couldnt tell which is the video game. Heck the second picture almost looks more "video gamey"

Each time I start a new mission some of the toggle switched on my Warthog throttle seem unresponsive. I have to toggle them back and forth to sort of wake them up. It only happens on switches I have to "switch down" like the flaps or fuel flow at first but if I leave a switch in the up position for some time when I come to flip it down again it doesnt respond until i toggle it twice. I have the "sync HOTAS on mission start" option enabled and also disabled the PC's ability to put USB ports to sleep in Windows configurations but the problem persists. I remember having this problem a while ago but either found a solution or it resolved itself because it didnt happen until I got a new PC and now the problem is back. Any suggestions?

Strange I had no problems with the activation of the Mig. It used my key like any other DCS module. What problems did you encounter? Just out of curiosity.

Just finished the campaign and I had a great time! Definitely one of the best campaigns I played in DCS. The story was very good, the characters were interesting and the voice acting was perfect. Other then a small bug on mission 9 where some flights wouldn't leave their parking spaces everything else happened without a hitch. Damn fine job Baltic Dragon!

I hope that was the right shoulder or else its bad luck! :o

There is a situation exactly like this in the campaign. The short answer is you cant, which is told by your instructor pilot. He asks AWACS to convert the coordinates.

Possible fix for stutters and low performance
IonicRipper replied to xxJohnxx's topic in Game Performance Bugs
Nealius try without Vsync see if that helps -
Any fix for the problem? Just encountered this on the 9th mission. Tried starting another mission before playing mission 9 but no luck. Do you have to start mission 9, abandon, play another mission then start mission 9 for it to work? EDIT: Nevermind got it. For me I actually had to play the campaign mission first, abandon it and start it again for it to work.

** DCS: AJS-37 WIP Pre-Release Manual Released! **
IonicRipper replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Now imagine their reactions if they saw an F15C HUD :P -
^ That reminds me of our army here in Canada for some reason. It seems our forces have a lot in common. Any footage or info about the Rb 05? Im curious to see how it will be to guide these to targets considering the lack of 3d perception.

Possible fix for stutters and low performance
IonicRipper replied to xxJohnxx's topic in Game Performance Bugs
Hey John, I have annoying random stutters but happens almost all the time when zooming in, looking in a new direction and especially when firing (which is the absolute last thing you want when attacking ground targets so close to the ground!) I looked at my CPU performance while flying and the workload was evenly distributed between the 4 cores. All of the cores in affinity was checked.
